  11. He says it because you've been here long enough to know how to properly post, and you've been warned about your posting before. Don't be offended when someone takes notice... Posts like the one Larry quoted are kind of hard to miss.
  12. Let's not be so quick to jump on Rudie (or anyone else for that matter) for reading into something. Right or wrong, there is a way to go about expressing your opinion respectfully, and this wasn't the best you could have done. I'm not taking sides on the issue, but as a moderator alone, I'm asking that you cool your jets a little bit and let speculation be just that. We are talking about theme parks, right? 14. ^From the looks of the construction, the station and the transfer shed have both been retained. The footers from Big Bad Wolf's final drop have also been kept as the ride will use that turn exactly as it was before. As for the rest of the ride, everything should be brand new. The old village facades were demolished with Big Bad Wolf.
  15. ^^They had actually cleaned all of the algae off about a month or so ago, and the place had looked nice again. Sad to see it came back so fast... And that they haven't done anything else about it. As sad as it was to see the place dry, they did try turning off all of the building's external water features to prevent that, and it did work. Maybe that is the best solution at this point.
  16. There's still more photos from the trip that I have yet to share! More of the Games of the Boardwalk... I wouldn't have a problem if these showed up (in theme) at other Disney parks. I think this look suits me. Here is the lush park... Corn Dog Castle was behind walls last year... This time around, I got to try the greatness of the DCA Corn Dog! Route 66 Souvenirs received a minor retime as Seaside Souvenirs, which worked out well. Pretty sure the Maliboomer is still pictured here. At some points in the day, the World of Color platforms are lifted to allow the nozzles to sit above the water for testing. Paradise Park turned out pretty well too. Take a look Walt Disney World... You've got something already designed that you could drop into Pleasure Island. I really do like the Golden Zephyr. I just wish it was on the other side of Paradise Bay. Last year, this was merely frame and steel. This IS a prime example of a well-executed Disney dark ride. I cannot wait til ours opens in Florida. This mural spans the entire ride station, much like the classic Fantasyland dark rides have in their stations. Some pretty great moments in Scuttle's opening loop here. Probably the most impressive Ariel animatronic of the ones in the ride. Not easy to capture, but the size of the Under the Sea scene is pretty impressive. Flotsam and Jetsam are well placed in the attraction. Ursula is quite impressive as well. For those that care to know: there is supposedly a hidden Mickey in the fireworks. A perfect reutilization of existing infrastructure from the first decade of the park. For Larry. They've cluttered this area a bit, which is a shame. Now on to my favorite area of the park... The portal to Cars Land will open next year. The Lucky Fortune Cookery and Cocina Cucamonga switched locations earlier this year. MASECA!!! The Mission Tortilla Factory closed a few months ago... Supposedly it will become a Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory soon. The Bakery Tour is absolutely one of my favorite parts of Disney California Adventure. I truly hope it never leaves. The forgotten icon of DCA. A fish is missing its name... How sad. Just beyond this wall is the Carthay Circle Pump House, which will likely serve as the new information desk and tip board location for the park's entrance. The Cars Land wall cuts into the old Bountiful Valley Farms section of a bug's land. I found Hopper! For the index. I see stairs to the new Carthay Circle Club! The pump house has since been painted and detailed to near completion. Reminds me of the old entrance to the park... Is this where Captain EO is now? The best character to ever theme an attraction to, EVER! I've seen you before! Some of the theming here carries mutual references with Toy Story Mania. The Red Car Trolley end track near the Hollywood Tower Hotel has since been completed. The track has blended well into the existing Hollywood Pictures Backlot. Newsies Musical anyone? Back in my favorite part of the park, I come here just to watch the video loop in the Animation Building. Oh boy... You had to have known this was coming. You never really notice the shapes the fountains of World of Color make until you look at them in photos. The projection screens blend in with the fountains. "So wonderful... So beautiful..."

Dee Snider, legendary rocker, entertainer and front man for Twisted Sister, came face-to-face with three savage, blood-thirsty banshees while experiencing the Nightingales: Blood Prey haunted house at Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights 21. Named “the country’s best Halloween event” for four years in a row, Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights brings to life guests’ most intense nightmares on select nights this fall through October 31. © 2011 Universal Orlando Resort. 23. ^Everyone has their touchy topics. While I don't think anyone is trying to come off as insensitive, you probably aren't going to find many (if any) that are as vocally opposed to this as you are. While you are certainly entitled to your opinion, I think you've made it known. Let's move forward in the conversation, either overlooking the wording or keeping personal opposition to ourselves. The topic is here to discuss the offering, not the morals behind the offering's verbiage.
  24. ^^I don't mean to sound insensitive, but that is exactly how Worlds of Fun referred to these wrestlers, both in the press advisory they sent us, as well as in the signage they've included at the event. It may not be the politically correct term, but that is the exacting wording that has been used officially for this offering, so I don't think you're going to get much to change there.
