Im not so sure that those trains having no break/twist section would be able to traverse the tight twists and inversions of the new coaster at CP. -

CP_RULES replied to Waterpark101's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
First of all, I would like to congratulate you for building the second tallest B&M invert in the world. Many coasters are very difficult to deal with when you have so much speed, and I think you handled it fairly well. Ill start with good things. The airtime hills were very cool and the weightlessness created by the loop was unbeatable. The supports looked great, but as said earlier there might have been too many. Now onto the bad. I dont know why you used three trains when the track has no MCBR, two would be sufficient. The track was fairly smooth until you got to the first air-time hill, then it became pretty rough. I think the loop had good speed through it because it produced awesome hang-time, but the cobra roll needs to be lower. I also dont think it would pass tunnel test. Now I know that sounds like a lot of bad, but I dont want you to think this is a bad track. Most of the things that are wrong with it are fairly easy fixes. Overall the track was strong, and it certainly got my heart pumping, but it still needs work. Never give up. -

Standing a staggering 150 feet in the air, Woodland Runner is one of the tallest wooden roller coasters in the world. Topping out at a blazing 56mph, Woodland Runner is also one of the fastest wooden coasters in the world. I wanted this coaster to be long, twisted, and air-time filled. I had a few problems on the way though. Firstly, the coaster being so tall, it was hard for me to make curves throughout the beginning of the track due to the high speeds. I fixed this problem by making the entire beginning of the track be higher off the ground. The track is a true beast boasting over 7 moments of airtime (4 floater and 3 ejector) located throughout the track. The laterals are great also, but never too much. I hope you enjoy the crazy twisted section at the end of the track, and I apologize that there had to be a trim before it. I absolutely hate to tame some of my wilder coasters, but the trim was mandatory in order to keep the g's tolerable. Stats- Height- 150feet Drop- 110 feet Top Speed- 56mph Length- 4544feet Banking- three 90* turns and one 85* Blocks- 5 Trains- 3 Cars Per Train- 6 Seats Per Car- 4 Tests- E-stop- Passes in flying colors Tunnel- Passes with a few very slight tunnel to tunnel hits but it is completely safe using the inside rim of the wood tunnels. MY PERSONAL FAVORITE SEAT= FRONT SEAT ON THE RIGHT Special Thanks to Coasterdude5 for testing this coaster for me! EDIT- I forgot to say it would be greatly appreciated if you rated this coaster at CoasterSims. Thanks. Woodland Runner1.0.nltrack Download bee-atches 90 degrees! This is the best way to see the layout.

Lift-hill coasters versus launched coasters
CP_RULES replied to AndyGiles's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I dont know about other people, but I really dont think Hulk counts as a launch coaster in this instance. Hulk's layout is pretty much a standard lift hill coaster layout after the launch and zero-g. In contrast to what people have been saying about launch coasters and their lack of anticipation, Id like to put you on TTD for the first time ever and ask you if your nervous right before the launch. -Justin "But nothing beats your standard chain still" Seabaugh -

I just found these Point Buzz pics on RCDB.... ^By the heavy banking and large diameter of that helix, Im betting that this coaster will be a fast one! ^Thats just damn sexy! -

its not a crane! its track! I accept that now. I made that comment before anyone mentioned the other angle(which I still haven't seen). Going off just that Cedar Point cam you can't really tell what that is exactly. i felt it in my bones Dude that is definitely a crane. You can see the little foot thing that keeps the crane from tipping over. Also, the "track" that you think you see is black. -

It is really sad to see another company having troubles. IMO, S&S is one of the better companies out there. I hope they can make it through, hell, look at Delta Airlines! They've applied for bankruptcy tons of times and now they are one of the most successful in the business. Hopefuly S&S can do the same. -

Going from number 104 into number 105 in this picture definitely could be a zero-g roll. Dont hold me to it, it could just be a quick direction change or a piece of trick track, but it sure does resemble something of an inversion. See here. -Justin "Anything to conclude its not an aqua trax." Seabaugh -
