(Skipping Q) Riddler's Revenge (Magic Mountain)
-
Unless you ride in the front or the back row, prepare to be jackhammered on Scream. The front row is amazing on that ride. I still find it less painful than Riddler, in which case the jackhammering will give you both a headache and leg cramps. Viper is an under-rated ride, IMO, and I find it to be much less painful than either of the aforementioned B&Ms.

Granted, but they are all expensive. I wish I could visit more theme parks this year. -

Game: When was the last time you...

Maybe a month ago? (Ninja at SFMM) When was the last time you rode an Arrow mega-looper? -
Yes. Have you ever rolled back (on a coaster that wasn't supposed to do so)?
-
Yes, most of them were by boldikus. Do you like Irish whiskey?
-
Hell no! Do you use Twitter?

Granted, but everyone around you is miserable. I wish I could barbecue today. -

This morning, by my alarm clock. When was the last time you ate a burger? -

Revolution with lap bars definitely is a hidden gem. For about a month following the end of HITP, Revolution ran without VR. Even on crowded days, it was a station wait, at most. I used these opportunities to ride it, and I really enjoyed it. The new restraints are much more pleasant than OTSRs. It's surrounded by old pine trees, giving the feeling of driving through the forest. It would be much more pleasant if they'd do away with some of the trim brakes (such as the stomach-punching, hard trim brake as you exit the tunnel), but overall, I thought it was a great ride. Sadly, the VR means 5-minute dispatches, and hour+ waits, even on relatively slow days. I wish SFMM would take a note from Cedar Point's playbook, and only run the VR during certain parts of the day.

That part came true! (If you don't know what I'm talking about, try walking in front of Full Throttle's gate.) Granted, but all the rides are down for maintenance. I wish Magic Mountain would refurbish Viper. -
Lately, the hidden gem in the park has been Batman. They finished up their yearly maintenance a few weeks ago and the ride is now running both trains again. On my last couple of visits to the park, that ride was a walk-on, while most of the other rides had 30+ minute waits. I rode it a couple of times in a row last Monday, and had my choice of a seat.

Anyone ridden all the RMCs yet?
joelwee replied to kweiss's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've only ridden Twisted Colossus so far, and it's my favorite ride at SFMM. I'm hoping to get up to NorCal and ride Joker sometime this year. I also have some relatives living in San Antonio. Eventually, I'll plan a trip to visit them and ride Iron Rattler. -
To make it worse, there is no food in your house and you can't go to the store because of road work blocking your only way out. My auto bill pay didn't work and I missed a credit card payment.
