  2. To make it worse, you forgot to save your work and it disappears. A rat builds a nest in your car.
  3. This afternoon. When was the last time you rode a Schwarzkopf?
  4. Apocalypse is very rough, even after last year's retracking. But honestly, it doesn't bother me that much because (1) it's a wooden coaster, and with wooden coasters comes a certain degree of roughness over steel coasters; (2) it's themed as an escape train from the scavengers. Do you think an escape train during the apocalypse would be smooth? That said, it is one of SFMM's few airtime machines and I can't wait until it reopens. It attracts crowds during the day, but people tend to avoid Apocalypse as soon as the sun goes down (maybe because it's in a dark corner in the very back of the park?) Riding 4-5 rounds on Apocalypse and then on Viper will leave your head spinning, but if roughness doesn't bother you, they are both great rides.
  5. To make it worse, you missed the event altogether. I ate an In N Out burger for lunch.
  6. No. Is there an Arrow coaster in your Top 5?
  7. Yes, March 19th most likely will be extremely crowded, as it's a Bring a Friend Free Day for season pass holders. SFMM is also performing annual maintenance on some of their iconic rides (Apocalypse, Tatsu, and Riddler's Revenge), so that means the other rides are more crowded. And on top of all that, X2 has been only running one train for the past couple of weeks. It is possible that some of these factors will change before March 19, but even then, X2 is one of the most popular rides in the park. I would definitely recommend getting there right when the park opens and running straight to X2. (If you have a Six Flags season pass, you can get in 15 minutes early.) Otherwise, expect a 3-hour wait. If you get the chance to ride X2 more than once, try the 1st row, then the 7th row. You get lots of hangtime in the 1st row (especially on the first drop), while the 7th row gives G-force galore. The outside seats are a little rough, compared to the inside seats, but the flips are more fun on the outside, IMO. Wait so tatsu will be down? I didn't like the B&M flyer at SFGADv but apparently tatsu is off the charts. It's down right now, for a new lift chain and maintenance on the trains. I don't know if it'll be open again by March 19. If it is open, it is a must-ride. The loop is pretty gnarly.

  9. Yesterday. When was the last time you bought a new phone?
  10. To make it worse, it's because a tsunami hit the beach and the adjacent city. You ate an orange for a snack.
  11. About a week ago. When was the last time you barbecued?
  12. Saddles
  13. No, I haven't been skiing in forever. Have you ridden an alpine slide?

  15. I've never been to Magic Kingdom, nor have I heard of Wishes, so no. Did you ever ride Jaws at Universal Orlando?
  16. About a week ago. When was the last time you rode a coaster that was later demolished?

  18. I have yet to try Superman, but that's only because I didn't want to wait in an hour-long line for a 20-second ride. Goliath is fun; there is actually a discussion of it going on in the "official" SFMM thread. Many hard-core enthusiasts don't like it because of the lack of steepness on the drop, and the mid-course brake run. I agree with them in that regard, but I still enjoy it, for the most part. If and when you visit SFMM, it's definitely worth a ride or two.
