  1. The Elkhorn "Antlers." We are one of the VERY few schools in the entire country, with an inatament(sp?) object for a mascot.
  2. Smoker here.. It's a sad habit. I really wish I hadn't started, and now I'm trying to stop. I used to be an occasional smoker, but now I'm smoking a pack about every 4 or 5 days. All you young-ins say you'll never do it, but wait until you get a little older. Peer-pressure caught up to me and I wish I would have taken all those people's advice and just said, "NO!", but I didn't... And coasterexpert13, you never smoke Menthol's, or Newport's for that matter, they're the worst!
  3. Yea, but the G's are too extreme in some places with out them...
  4. Hornet, a full fledged adrenaline rush. From it's 95 degree drop, to it's ExTRemE hang-time. Statistics: Height: 90 ft Speed: 50 mph Manufacturer: Gerstlauer Elements: 95* drop, Loop, Immelman, Roll Over, Vertical Hair-Pin turn, helix. Hornet.zip
  5. Favorite Park - BGA Best Ride: Montu Worst Ride: Scorpion
  6. I had a dream that there were hundreds upon hundreds of impulses in the middle of the interstate... It was very odd I must admit . . .
  7. or you could have made the "Speeding up passes" one smaller number than the launch. I think that would have been a little easier, don't ya think...
  8. I rode it on the 18th, and compared to last year, I felt no change. Lauren got a bruise from it, and it was just rather unpleasant. The so called Re-Track didn't do much for this ride.
  9. Mamba ran great. Boomerang was putting out some great forces, don't know why, but it was... still very smooth, just needs some new paint, so does Mamba...
  10. I started my day by waking at at 5:30, calling Kim and Lauren to get their butts out of bed! I picked up Lauren, and we had time to spare because Kim decided she was gonna ignore my call and sleep in. So we decided to go see Chrissy. She was kinda mad we didn't invite her, so we told her to get her butt dressed and hop in the car. We picked up Kim and Izzie, and had to get gas and of course our discount coupons! The drive down was a lot of fun, blasting stereo, screaming friends, honking semi's, and of course, DISKO! it was the only cd we could find because we couldn't find a working radio station. It was down pouring towards the end so I was getting pissed, thinking it would be like this all day, but it ended up being really humid! Heading into the park.. We get there around 11, pay a hefty $10 to park, and the lot is completely EMPTY! This is where I get excited. We get in, and head straight for Spinning Dragons. The ride is fun, especially when you have two heavier on the opposite side of you, our train was spinning out of control, I've got evidence... Spinning Dragons: 5/10 *Rides= 6 Next up, Patriot. First ride was in the front. I remember this ride being mediocre last time I rode it. The ride was astounding! The first drop is superb and the ride is a heck of a lot more forceful than it was last year. Patriot: 7/10 *Rides= 8 On our way to Mamba, we decided to go hit up Timber Wolf. The ride was a walk on, but it wasn't really worth it... the ride wasn't as bad as last year, but it was still pretty rough. Lauren was pissed after she got off, she wasn't too pleased with Wolfy... Timber Wolf: 3/10 Rides= 1 Continuing our way over to Mamba, we headed over to Detonator. The ride is sorta boring, the best part is the first launch. Detonator: 5/10 Rides= 1 Finally, we hit mamba. We rode the ride about 2 dozen times, there was no line so we just stayed on. I got a couple of videos . . . One of my favorite shots of the whole trip. Other Random pics... Waiting for Patriot to open back up after a T-Storm. Chrissy, Lauren, and I waiting for Spinning Dragons to open up. Kim, after she broke a pot in the souvenir shop.. Chrissy being her weird self... we saw this sign on the way down and thought it was the funniest thing. So we decided to stop and take pictures of it at eleven o'clock at night. Probably not the smartest idea...Chrissy almost got hit by a semi..Not good.. More Pictures... Another one of my favorites. All in all, it was a good day, and a bad day to go at the same time. It poured and rained while we were there, but the park was dead and we had no lines...
  11. I have enough trouble with the novels in school. Nice TR though...
  12. If you're running v1.6, select both segments, and press ctrl+g, it may smooth the roll out just enough to bring down the lats, but sometimes it can make it worse...
  13. I got a tip for ya.. Why not come up with your own names, instead of using already existing coaster names?
  14. Last year I rode Timberwolf and it was THE roughest wooden coaster experience. It was worse than Gwazi, and I thought Gwazi was pretty bad. I told a lot of people in line that it was EXTREMLY rough, so my brother in line skipped out, so did a few more people. I twas just really bad, everyhting else was terrific though...
  15. Wait, aren't these guys supposed to be professionals? how could anything be wrong with the heart-lining?
  16. LMAO! I like the picture of Talon, and then Sheikra in the background...
  17. Yay! Nebraska didn't make the list! Wait, does anyone even know we exist?
