  1. B&M (Las Vegas coasters . . .) Desperado vs. Canyon Blaster
  2. Live streams are really cool . . . . what about (if possible of course), a live stream POV on a coaster?
  3. Indoor . . . in the dark. B&M Flyer or B&M Wing Coaster
  4. Then there would be a whole LOT more maintenance/downtime involved . . . . . . What if theme parks were open 24 hours a day?
  5. When I rode El Toro . . . in the grass field where Rolling Thunder used to be, I saw a flock of Canada Geese (somehow, I don't think feeding Geese funnel cake would be a good idea)
  6. I'd say they'd be better received that Vekoma Family Suspended coasters . . . . What if . . . . X2 was at GAdv and Kingda Ka at MM?
  7. But they have other rarely used structures that can still be removed such as the theater across from the Justice League and the Batman Stunt Show Arena. Also a few years ago there were rumors that Skull Mountain (sorry Cult of Skull Mountain members) might be at the end of it life cycle. I'd still like one more indoor ride/attraction to help the park in inclement weather. The Showcase just got repainted and I do think will be utilized more in the next few seasons now that the area is seeing attention. With the Granstand and Fort Independance gone, the Showcase is one of the only spots to see a traditional show left. As I mentioned earlier, the Batman Stunt Show area is another good candidate for removal. Combined with the old Freefall spot and you have a pretty solid chunk of unused land. Agreed, I was just trying to point out that you have two roofed theaters in Showcase and the 3D Building, so if the park was to demolish one either could go. I agree the 3D building is more likely to go first, since the Showcase Theater is in an area open for HITP. However, combining the Showcase Theater, old Freefall spot and Stunt Show Theater creates the large footprint for something big in the future. Do you think said footprint (at least the Stunt Show Arena and old Freefall spot, if they plan on making use of the Showcase Theater in the future) would be big enough for a Dive or Wing Coaster?
  8. Coastering in the fall/winter is way more enjoyable than getting scorched in July/August . . . (BTW, my favorite cold weather coaster is Roar at SFA)
  9. I should elaborate on what I said earlier . . . In keeping with a Maryland theme (I'll add more later) . . . . Racing GCI Woodie . . . Beltway duel: Baltimore vs. DC (of course, the DC trains would be signed "Taxation without Representation" ) B&M Hypercoaster . . . . Maryland Monster Mile (track length . . . . 5,280 feet exactly. trains of course in Maryland flag colors of red/white/black/gold) Chesapeake Corkscrew . . . . Vekoma Mega Looper with 6 inversions (2 corkscrews [1 clockwise, 1 counter-clockwise], 1 cobra roll, 2 vertical loops, 1 zero g roll) Pimlico Express . . . . Vekoma Family Launch coaster . . . obviously with the cars being horses.
  10. Me and Sylvester at Six Flags America on 8-25-17. Why I have a Maryland Terrapins finger with me . . . . no real clue (I just feel like it!) Give my liberty or give me the finger!
  11. I'm wondering if noted superfan "Mean Streak" Henry will be on the first Steel Vengeance train when it opens . . . . ..
  12. I really like the 360 degree POV videos . . . . .
  13. Surprised they don't ever run the second Batwing train . . . . at any rate, I like days where it isn't to sunny so I don't need to shut my eyes as I go up the Batwing lift hill. And I can't wait for FF to ride Roar in cold weather
  14. In case anyone cares (or not) . . . the 12:30 stunt show from today recorded by me:
  15. Regarding new attractions and such . . . . do the respective SF parks bid to get them, or does the board essentially say . . . "Ok, Magic Mountain, Great Adventure, etc are getting JL:BFM"? (or something along those lines)
  16. Nice thought process . . . . year round experience for sure. Anyhow, I'd name my park . . . Maryland's Adventure with of course rides themed around Maryland . . . (such as a haunted dark ride called Goatman's Revenge after the mythical Goatman of Prince George's County)
  17. Nice collection! What was it like being on the Blue Streak crew? (and was '92 the only year you were on that crew)?
  18. What's been the issues with Runaway Mine Train and Log Flume this year? And yeah . . . . they're both original park opening rides, but if they're in bad shape, maybe they'll be taken out (if so, which is more likely to bite the dust?)
  19. I mean . . . I'm grateful that SFA is getting a new thing for Hurricane Harbor . . . but I still feel that (compared to other additions) SFA is the bastard step child (along with Great Escape and La Ronde) of the SF chain. I'm still renewing for 2018 . . . hell, I got to make my requisite trips to Great Adventure (and I'll get off my ass and fly out to one of the other parks as well) Edit: Unless something big comes in 2019 that really impresses the hell out of me . . . . I am seriously considering defecting to Cedar Fair (I'm only 2 hours from KD and 2 hours 45 minutes from Dorney Park, plus the other parks in the chain. Hell I could consider defecting to Hershey Park!)
  20. Here's my predictions . . . . 1. Penguin's Blizzard River gets removed for an S&S 4D free spin 2. Castaway Creek gets removed for a water coaster 3. ZoomaZon Falls gets removed for a mat racer
  21. At my home park (SFA) . . . I avoid Ragin' Cajun . . . . I got nothing against spinning Wild Mouse coasters, it just . . . . doesn't do it for me. One time, I nearly fell asleep on it.
  22. Green ZoomaZon (because of how darn quick it is) and Mako/Hammerhead (you WILL get airtime on them) are my favorite slides at Hurricane Harbor.
  23. I like "Dead's Man Party" at Fright Fest . . . And as for other shows . . . I always make it a point to see the stunt show at SFA
  24. I have a love/no love relationship with SFA. Love . . . it's only a 35 mile drive away from where I live No love . . . . it has potential to be better, but . . . . isn't Sometimes I think of defecting to Cedar Point (I'm only 2 hours from King's Dominion and about 2 hours 45 minutes from Dorney Park) . . .
