The thread was made to confuse someone in hopes that they would bump it a decade later to see if the coaster that everyone was talking about for 3 pages actually exists since that makes way more sense than performing a 2 second Google search which would answer your question. I have never ridden any GCIs, so I have no authority there. Out of all of my Intamin credits, I honestly have to say Wicked Twister at Cedar Point. I would ride it again, its good. But, since I have few Intamin credits, it isn't so high on my list I only have 2 B&M credits, and out of those, the lesser one was Batman: The Dark Knight at SFNE. Great ride, but second to CP Raptor.

I chill up in Massachusetts, so: -Six Flags New England -Canobie Lake Park -Lake Compounce All are a 2-3 hour drive from my place. I visited SFNE and Lake Compounce this past season, but haven't been to Canobie Lake for about four years.

The court revoked the original building permit - the reason being that a more extensive environmental impact study should have been made before the permit was given - and the coaster will be closed until Kolmården can find a solution (or worst case scenario be forced to tear it down). Wildfire is technically SBNO too due to the permit issues (man 2016 has not been a good year for European woodies...) Oh, right, forgot that "Team Green" has found a way to deny pleasure for normal humans. Well, in that case, I'll pick number 3 (and my personal favorite) from the list: El Toro! If there is a HITP, I will literally beg my parents on my knees to take me there for a birthday present. I know it will be in the 30s (Hello Massachusetts in the winter), but hey, I can ride Wicked Cyclone!

GCG is literally right across from Superman. It's not near the entrance of Mind Eraser and Batman at all. The ride could run but why open it? It's sort of like Bizarro at Great Adventure. I'm sure it could run but it's not worth opening all of the paths necessary to open it and paying to decorate and staff all of those areas. Look, so far every regional Holiday event closes off sections of the park. The obvious thing to close here would be the DC area. There are a ton of stairs and ramps to salt if it snows which is probably a bit of a liability anyway and it's super easy to close off by cutting just 2 paths. Look at what Six Flags America did. I guarantee you that if SFNE did a Holiday event, the DC area would be closed. Okay, now I understand. At any rate, SFNE isn't even doing HITP. They're closed until April.

I think I can see why Superman/Goliath would be closed, but GCG? It's a Wild Mouse coaster. Why does it have to be closed because of location? I mean, Mind Eraser/Batman would still be open according to your logic, and they're in the same general location and are taller than GCG.

^^ Yeah, but the problem is, if Goliath isn't operating, not as many people will be going to the park. Goliath is a very popular coaster.

Who wants to wager it was one of the following: A) B&M trains for Magnum (There, I said it) B) Maybe confirming the RMC purchase C) Coaster #18 (It's #18 because Mean Streak is being RMCed, so the park still technically has 17 coasters, so a new one would make it 18) Also, if it's coaster 18, my thoughts: Please be RMC T-Rex, Please be RMC T-Rex, Please be RMC T-Rex, Please be RMC T-Rex...

Eh, give it a couple years. Probably going to give it a B&M retrack a la Steel Dragon 2000, but definitely not get rid of it. It's too iconic

Trust me, you're better off that way. Bill hates standups, and that's cool. Everybody has their own opinions. I personally thought Riddler's Revenge at Magic Mountain was pretty good. So I'd say give one a try, if you're at a park that has one, and see what you think. If you hate it, then don't ride another one. But I'd give it a shot; I'm one that always values a new experience. I'm going to Great Adventure this summer. What about Green Lantern?
