We should build one for TPR and send it to people who have a local park (or one they usually go to). The person could take it on the coasters to log the G's and sign the thing, then pass it off to another person!

Yesterday I was bundled up in a huge winter coat... today I'm walking around outside in short sleeves! Some visual aids to help you understand why I hate Wisconsin: If you looked up ugly in the dictionary, you would find "Wisconsin" in the definition. Anyone want to guess what is mutating down there? This used to be an armchair. Want some soup? Mailbox checks into rehab for the second time this week for "snow plow battle damage". I am in a T-SHIRT! The ground is ugly, brown, and soaking wet.

I just want to walk on the beach at night and feel the cool sand on my toes. But NO - I'm stuck here in stupid Wisconsin where it gets warm, cold, raining, snowing. I HATE WISCONSIN!!!

I completed the first one last year (after trying since I was tiny!). I'm thinking of skipping Riven because I beat the Ultimate Directors Cut version of Myst - the one with 360* view. Going back to the old "Slideshow" version of the game is way too disorienting and confusing.

TPR and Theme Park Artwork

I consider myself an okay artist, but I seriously wish I could draw anything that RESEMBLED a roller coaster. I'll scan and post some of my work later. -

We passed SFGAm on our Coach bus from Chicago yesterday - the new sign has been installed! It features a VERY nice color display. Sadly, I had JUST run out of film on my disposable camera and wasn't able to get a picture of it.

I had an Aero bar once. They're designed with tiny bubbles packed inside the bar so it feels like you're eating more than you actually are consuming. It tasted pretty great, but I won't be having any more candy bars until April 8th.

Second Grade Narrative of The Mall of America
Golfie replied to Golfie's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hah! Thanks! It's funny because I remember writing another essay about MOA, but it was persuasive. -
I got a kick out of this! "The Mall of America" is a narrative I wrote in second grade - I was really surprised at how good my writing was back then! Enjoy The Mall of America “I can’t wait!”, I thought to myself as I rushed out of bed. I shoved my breakfast in my mouth and started to pack. Today we were leaving for The Mall of America! When we got in the car, pillows and all, we began our 6-hour journey on the road. We took plenty of rest stops and naps before we got there, but trust me, it wasn’t easy. There was some bad news when we got there. The hotel had a flood on the third floor, and so we almost didn’t have a place to stay. But we managed to get a room. When my Dad came back into the car and said it was okay, I grabbed all of my stuff and ran into the hotel like a Texas tornado! By the time we got to the room, it seemed like an hour had gone by. After about 10 minutes of nagging, we finally agreed on going to the mall. (It was easy to get there because it was right across the street.) We called a van and we were taken there. When we entered, my mouth hung wide open and I almost started to drool! It was huge, colossal, humongous, monstress, enormous!!! No words in my mind could describe it, but that was just the beginning. First we went to a really cool fountain that you could play games with powerful water guns. Next we went on the Treetop Tumbler. It was really fun! Then, we went on the beautiful Merry-Go-Round. (It’s a family tradition.) Finally, I went on the Pepsi Ripsaw with my sister. At first I was a little nervous but then it got fun after the first drop. I went through many mind-boggling twists and turns. It was neat being able to whiz past the third floor cinema and second floor simulators. My favorite part of the roller coaster was when we went in the cave above the Paul Bunyan river ride! The next day I did many similar things except for one thing in particular. I went rock climbing for the first time! The man who was running it was really nice because I paid to go on it only once, but he let me go on all of the different difficulty levels about 10 times! Once I had enough, we all shared a delicious freshly made funnel cake. We did lots and lots of shopping that day. My two favorite stores were FAO Schwartz and the crystal shop. My favorite restaurant was The Rainforest Café. I was walking down the shop pathway when I crossed a breathtaking view of the amusement park. It was awesome. When we came back to the rides after dinner, it was beautiful because all of the rides had their lights on. It was exciting to see all of the lights and hear all of the sounds. That night when we were waiting for the van I almost started to cry. In fact, I was getting pretty teary. The final morning we ate breakfast and checked out of the hotel. As a surprise, my parents took us back to the mall to go on three rides of our choice, and we went to the candy store. Then we began our long journey home. By the time we got back, it was already night. Our grandparents visited us and we went to bed. I can’t wait to go back this summer!!!

^You think I didn't do any of that in the planning stages? Nothing compares to first-hand experience. -

^Sorry - I've never ridden a Euro Fighter before, so I can't make them like they really feel like.
