  1. Yeesh - that looks INSANE!!! I'd be a little intimidated to ride it. Keep up the good work.
  2. Just a little update so you guys know this project isn't being left in the ditch... I'm working with CCJared (once again - he also worked on Nightmare with me). He's taking care of most of the 3ds which will include some mining tunnels and mine shafts. I can't wait to see how it turns out (Because I only gave him some VERY vague outlines). I'd estimate this to take anywhere from 1-2 weeks, so sit tight!
  3. Hmm... Thrillville on DS? This will be interesting!
  4. That's because it isn't. The exit out of the immelman turns the other way and the inclined loop is different. It's similar, but not a clone. Instead of suggesting names, I'm going to come up with one. I'm also coming up with a story taken right from the old Wild West, so expect to see something later today!
  5. Oh my god... I can't WAIT for this show - I had seen Danny Forster on "Extreme Engineering" when he was afraid of heights... I wonder how he'll do with Griffon! I'll be deeply excited when this airs.
  6. I'll be sure to try that next year when we drive 6 hours to the Mall
  7. Interchangable lenses aren't permitted because you can use them like magnifying glasses to burn their poor little ants!
  8. Ugh... Six Flags has put up those Geico ads all over the park. When we went, there was no bumper sticker on Viper, but the yellow signs were dotted all over the park. Wouldn't it be smarter for a health insurance company to advertise in an amusement park rather than a car insurance company?
  9. ^Which is why they didn't sell it (Thank God!). When I was little, SFGAm really wasn't that great of a park - it wasn't kept up well, but now it has become much better and has improved a LOT! Now all they need is another good coaster... it has been 4 years... Six Flags... if you're reading this... hint hint.
  10. ^Nice. I'm thinking along the theming of mining (I know... how unique! ) with a mine shaft-type entrance and a few tunnels.
  11. Of course CCJared is gonna win... he can made 3ds. (He even made 3ds for me once!)
  12. WOW! You did an AMAZING job - a simply beautiful park! (Heh... sounds like a quote from the New York Times) The hard work and time you've spent on this park has really paid off. Great work.
  13. Ah, whatever - it makes for a unique inversion (just wait until I release it)
  14. ^Yeah... I'm not very good at creating Immelmans, so you'll notice some jerking in it that I just can't seem to get rid of. The opposite banking you mentioned really doesn't wreck the inversion at all - think of the zero-g roll on Montu! p.s. It was inspired by a compact design; therefore, this model is a compact design.
  15. ^Cool! I've seen people do that on their models, and I think that would be the best plan since my budget is less that $300.

  17. I've been looking at buying a Coasterdynamix set for months now, and I'm wondering about the best way to go when purchasing sets. If you have past experience, what works best? Will the Scorpion set be large enough for a beginner to create small, yet exciting layouts? Is the track easy to work with in both large and small scenarios? Thanks, Golfie
  18. www.rcdb.com I would surf that place for HOURS.
  19. Two nights ago in Minnesota when I realized I had forgotten to bring a toothbrush along. When was the last time you PUKED?!??
  20. Snap some pictures of the plans and I'll give you a box of cookies. So I guess it's just up to us to figure out how to balance the cars...
  21. Python at BGA... not that I wouldn't ride it again - I just can't ride it.
