  1. Great TR ! I really laughed at the actual Bench : The Ride
  2. The best thing for you would have been to call at the park and ask so you'd get the real answer.
  3. About the same for me, and I guessed randomly !
  4. The weather has been pretty chilly over here in the past days. We went from having like an average of 35-40°C to now having an average of about 25°C. It is such a difference !
  5. The ride actually "broke in" since it's debut and is a bit more intense now due to that, but not much ! I'd be glad to see a PTR of my beloved homepark, even though it ain't the greatest park and that it has one of the worst operations
  6. Hmm...definitely not top 10 ! It is fun and good. It's definitely something the park needed, but it's not something that can be put in a top 10. The camelbacks are great though. If you like ejector air more than floater air, you'll be upset. The ride delivers major floater air on each hills, but that's about it. The ending is pretty slow if the trim brake catches the train, but other then that, it's not that bad. It's a B&M after all, so it can't be as bad as a pinfari/vekoma/zamperla death machine !
  7. I'll just tell the ones that I like, in no particular order ! McDonalds, Wendy's, Harvey's (a canadian fast food chain with the best hamburgers ever cooked on the grill ), Dic Anns (the chain is pretty dead, but there is one near me and the sauce they put in the hamburgers is just really good !) and A&W (for their famous rootbeer and the Double Moza burger ). You can also conclude that by listing these restaurants, I love hamburgers
  8. I got out on May 25th and I go back on August 28th !
  9. So no, it's not my first year and I can't wait to go to McGill next year !
  10. I have some DDR music cd's imported from Japan ! I also have Stepmania, so that's a subtile way of answering your question...
  11. Since that in Québec the scholar system is different, you need to go to Cégep for 2-3 years depending on your program and then you go to university. So, right now, I am in the pure and applied sciences program at Maisonneuve College. I'm going to finish this year, then I'm going to McGill ! Some people may know McGill , as it is one of Canada's most famous university because that's where Rutherford made his experiences on radioactive bodies and the emission of alpha rays. When I'll be at McGill, I plan on going for a PhD in mechanical engineering, you all guessed why ... What made me choose Maisonneuve College and McGill is that they are leaders in science programs and I thought it would be great to go to those schools to get adequate learning.
  12. I present you Ham in a CD player and
  13. I recently switched to Mac OS X and I think that desktops look really nicer than on Windows ! See for yourself ...
  14. There's 2 in Montreal, Canada for now ! So that would make 4, but there are more than that in America for sure ! By the way, this is such a great TR Robb You gotta love sexshops ...
  15. About the syncing problems, I heard they were going to release a patch and that the arcades will be able to download it from the internet. Arcades that don't have internet access will need to order it by CD I think, or something similar to that. The update is going to include one new song too ! I went to try Supernova yesterday and even though the timing was hard to adjust to, I had fun because there are some new 10's and some new 9's are fun ! Paranoia Respect is on it (it wasn't on any PS2 mix but it was on Ultra Mix for XBOX. Other songs such as Xepher (challenge steps) are really fun and go to the song well. The songlist is HUGE when you select all music from the difficulty menu
  16. DDR Supernova recently started to appear all over the US and Canada and I was wondering if anyone played yet ? I haven't, but the game looks like a whole big improvement compared to other DDR arcade games in the past.
  17. Cool, there's the old Blue Jays logo on there Nice small PTR !
  18. Montreal on a clear summer day ! Montreal at night in the winter ! Montreal at night !
  19. I wanted to ask if some people here were afraid of storms, any kind of storms ! I personnaly love thunder storms but some people I know are really afraid of those. I also love to watch tornados building up, but when they're getting stronger I think it's pretty scary . I also think that snow storms are fun to watch, from inside though ! I started to like thunder storms because of my dad. When I was young, when there was a thunderstorm, he would tell me to come and sit with him on the couch to watch the storm from our living room. He'd explain to me how you know how far the storm is, what causes it and every little thing he knew about them... Vote in the poll and share your experience as of why you like or hate storms ! I think it could be fun to talk about that, or maybe I'm just crazy
  20. I actually think that Goliath is pretty lame and it delivers floater air instead of ejector air. That's what killed it for me... I wanted ejector air
  21. I'd suggest going next Tuesday (July 25th) rather than going next Wednesday (July 26th) because of the fireworks. If you don't arrive before these days, I'd say Thursday. Fridays are busy and weekends too. Fireworks days at La Ronde are really crowded (30 000+ people in the park, which is pretty big for La Ronde). I'll propose you a better way to get around the park : Be at the park at least 30 minutes before opening since they open the wickets at 9:30AM so you can buy your tickets and get in front of the grid at that time. Then, when they open up the grid, go directly to Goliath ! After that you can hit Monstre, Super Manège and Boomerang which are all next to each other. After you rode those, go ride Vampire and Cobra so you'll have all the credits needed ! Do you arrive at the park by car or by bus ? That would significantly make a difference. If you arrive by car, be sure to park in the parking at the back of the park so you'll be nearer to Goliath and it'll be easier to get around the park the way I proposed ! If you have any other questions, just ask !
  22. I'm really glad to know there's a small community of DDR'ers on TPR !
  23. Today in Montreal, we had 39°C/102°F with humidity index at 100%. I went shopping for the air conditionning then when I came back home, I had the AC set at 66°F so it felt really cool
  24. Wearing black jeans, a Nightwish t-shirt (which is black), black socks and black boxers as underwear... So yeah... I like wearing black .. I also have my black running shoes ...
