If you want to get a lot of rides in on Twisted Timbers, especially on a Saturday I'd recommend fast lane plus. -

Depends where you're coming from, it's not for me. -

Yup, I'm a platinum pass holder so that's the only reason I'd make a quick stop for a few rides, wouldn't make a special trip out of it either but have some family in the area as well so maybe at some point. -

I keep seeing commercials for the new ride, looks great on tv. If I happened to be driving by the area already I'd definitely stop in for a ride or two. -
Food and wine festival was awesome as usual, we tried so many different things and enjoyed basically everything. A few of the samples could have been bigger considering the pricing , the portion size of the muffuletta at the French Quarter was so small I have no idea how they even managed to cut it that small lol and also the crepes just weren't good this time, the line was one of the longer ones and they just seemed swamped and were rushing them out and screwing up the orders. Those were the only actually bad thing we had the entire time and since we had almost 40 things that's pretty good ratio lol Some of our favorites were the German meatballs, the Mac and cheese at Hawaii, the lamb burger at the Mediterranean, the dumplings at Japan, the beef stick at Korea. Drink wise we had so many frozen drinks and beers, can't say we had one that tasted bad lol Haven't seen a lot of people here talk about the battle of Eire but we really enjoyed it. It's a massive upgrade over Europe in the air. The queue was out to the front of the entrance but it took about 25-30 mins to get to the point when you get the head piece. It was a nice break from the heat. Both pre-show rooms were themed very well to me and one setup the story. I've seen a decent amount of people complain on other places online about the plot being non-existent but it was a very easy, simple story to understand so not exactly sure what a lot of people were missing here. A lot of people have been saying the ride is a complete disappointment, blah, blah, blah. It's well themed, has a decent action story, and uses VR better than all the rides I've experienced VR on before. We had no issues with the headsets, it wasn't fuzzy and didn't make either of us sick. The only slight complaint I can see is that the piece that you clip on to the headset is a bit heavy so I can see how that would be uncomfortable for a decent amount of people. The crowd walking out seemed to enjoy it and we did as well so I think Busch Gardens did a great job with this new addition. The place was mobbed this weekend so we actually didn't ride a ton of other things since we mainly went for the food and booze but it was a fantastic weekend. Also went to water Country USA for the first time and the place is excellent, it's definitely up there in my favorite water parks I've been too now. It seemed extremely crowded but the lines for the slides were never that long and some were still walk ons and the weather was perfect.

I don't believe so, I think cedar point is the only park that does that. -

Stopped in for 2 rides on twisted timbers on my way to Busch gardens, absolutely incredible ride. It's so much damn fun. I know some people goof on the mystic timbers shed but I enjoyed it and after walking through the gift shop here it made me think of so many different things they could have done with a similar shed for this ride, between the twisted tree throwing apples and I'm not sure where they got this bear from but there's an evil stuffed teddy bear they are selling that's inside the hood of the truck in the gift shop, could have added him into one of the versions of the video too lol -

It's all the same queue but the rows are large and you enter from the left side of the train so if you took the two seats on the left side of the train the other 2 people behind you can still take the right 2 seats and don't have to climb over you or anything. -

See this is what was my main purpose of going back to Hershey was for because I kept reading everyone here talking about it lol when I went in 2014 I couldn't remember if I kept my hands up or not but I knew I definitely didn't sit in the last row on the left but I went yesterday and rode it hands up and legs out and it was the most bat shit insane experience I've ever had on a coaster and I loved every second of it. I totally thought I was going to end up in the water below at some point haha I definitely recommend giving it a shot at least once, it definitely took me a bit of will power not to grab the bars cause I thought I was done for haha -

I'd say I'm about the same as you so I think you'll be just fine.. ... And that's funny because my gf can't do i305 more than once either and I can do it a couple times. That ride kicks my ass after a few rides, idk if it's just because I'm getting older or maybe the combination of the heat since it's usually hot there but I definitely can't marathon it. We both love MF and I definitely love maverick more than she does though she'll still go on that one a lot. -

Wait, what? The back left seat? Are your legs still attached? I went on Saturday, got on Skyrush a second time (and coincidentally rode in the back left), and NEVER before had a coaster left me in such pain. It's two days later, and my thighs STILL hurt. This is coming from a guy who's conquered Son of Beast, Grizzly, and Rolling Thunder. Anyway, at least you enjoyed it and it sounds like yesterday was a good day to go. Saturday seemed like it was pretty crowded. My first wait for Skyrush was around an hour, and Great Bear and Storm Runner were around half and hour. Not awful, I guess, but still... Oh, and if the Fahrenheit ride operator keeps making sound effects, I'm waterboarding him with liquefied chocolate until his sanity gives way. *sigh* Alright, fine fine... don't want to be a Negative Nancy, so I'll say Great Bear, Storm Runner, and Fahrenheit are still really good fun and made the visit worthwhile. I always hear people complaining about the restraints but they don't bother me at all. I got 4 rides in and could have gotten way more but wasn't looking to marathon anything but my legs don't hurt at all lol It was an awesome day to go, everything was a walk on or a station wait or two unless you were waiting for front row. Fahrenheit operator wasn't making any sounds when I was there. -
I have no issues with their locker policy but I'm so tired of hearing people bitching about it when it's the easiest thing to avoid if you want to avoid it. I bring in just my season pass, credit card, id and just my car key and phone and leave it in a zippered pocket. Haven't had one person question me on it because it doesn't look obvious and I don't take my phone out in line cause I can survive without it & actually have a conversation with the people I'm with. I get people like comparing and what not but El Toro and Lighting Rod are just such different rides to me plus El Toro is almost 12 years old now, of course it's not going to be as smooth as a ride that's not even been up for 2 years. I enjoyed the hell out of Lightning Rod and I feel very lucky to have El Toro in my home park, it's an absolutely amazing ride that never fails to be a fun, wild ride.

I was there yesterday as well, decided not to get a season pass just because I don't think I can make it there enough but had a blast at the park. Trailblazer was open for a bit cause I was able to get on it. Finally got to ride the back left seat on Skyrush that everyone here always talks about and holy hell it didn't disappoint. I managed to keep my hands up the entire ride but I can't believe I didn't end up getting thrown from the ride lol It's crazy how much fun that type of insane ride can be. Like Yoshi above said everything was virtually a walk all on. Laff Trakk was my longest wait too and that was my first time on it, really fun ride. Also new for me were the drop towers, only did Hersheys and Reeses but they were both a ton of fun. Came completely out of my seat at the top of the Reeses tower twice and wasn't expecting that lol Also watched the seal show which was fantastic and made me wish great adventure still had the animal shows. They said they will have sea lions as well at some point in the summer season. Watched the magic show too and he was ok, I'd say about half the act was really interesting. We grabbed one of those King size shacks, so worth the money for what it was, we had the springtime in the park one so it was a cupcake and a cake pop that looked like a bee. So good. Just an awesome day in the park and I honestly can't think of 1 complaint that I have other then I wish the park was closer so I could go more often. I hadn't been to the park since 2014 and have been debating getting a season pass but it's just far enough that it makes 1 day trips more of a hassle. -

I may being going Sunday, been debating a season pass for years but have always been on the fence cause it's just far enough to be a pain to do in one day. Might just get the season pass so it makes me go more. I haven't been since 2014 and really want to ride Skyrush again. -
This has so much potential to be a lot of fun, I would absolutely visit and get a season pass most likely but I still won't believe this thing will open until I'm actually standing inside it lol its just crazy how many years have gone by since it broke ground. There's supposed to be a decently sized aquarium in this mall too that I'm excited to see happen.

Awesome to hear, where does fast lane put you into the queue? I got an all season fast lane plus this year and can't wait to get down there to use it.
