Haha I was thinking this too, some of us in colder weather areas would absolutely love a 49 degree day. Plus if there is a ride to be stuck on this one isn't bad, ya have a nice view and no seat restraints and can at least move around a bit. It's not like being stuck on a stand up or flying coaster for hours lol

I just booked a flight to California the other day for my first trip to these Disney parks and was planning on buying MaxPass anyway because my one and only complaint about the Tokyo Parks was that I wish they had a fast pass system setup on the app. Great to hear that the MaxPass system is awesome.

Damn that sucks. I loved this ride and this was one of the most popular rides in the park too. Going to be really interesting to see what they do with the mountain itself since it's been there for a long time. I'm curious to see if they knock that down completely as well or decide to try to incorporate a new ride into it. -
Six Flags isn't "feeling the heat" from the American Dream mall. They are simply replacing an attraction with a new one since it was really needed because the water park isn't that big to begin with and reaches capacity quite a lot during the summer. The competition isn't there and no matter how the theme and water parks turn out at American Dream it will still never be a competition and it was never supposed to be, especially with the theme park. Great adventure offers and has rides that American dream mall simply can't match due to the size of the place. I do think the parks will be great when they open but I just don't see it as a competition, even more so because six flags offers ridiculously cheap and reasonable season tickets considering they are basically open all year now.

That's definitely understandable, I didn't go in the water but it was nice to just relax for an hour or so in the middle of the day and have some drinks at the beach there. Especially cause it was really hot and I was tired of walking around the park in the heat. -

I've been to Cedar Point a bunch of times and normally stay off site but we did hotel breakers the last time and it was really a great time even with the higher price. I don't know if I would do it every time but if the price is somewhat reasonable I would. It was awesome to be able to go to the park, water park and beach all by walking a few minutes. We grabbed a few drinks at the one bar just to get some of the Steel Vengeance cups but for the most part we just stocked up the fridge with liquor/beer so we could fill our cooler and take it to the beach and relax and just keep refilling our cups. -

I can't say enough good things about these parks and the people of Japan. Absolutely wonderful country. If the parks introduced the fast passes on the app like Disney World it would be complete perfection and it's pretty damn close to perfect even without that. -

I renewed my platinum passes but decided not to get a 2019 all season fast lane like we did the previous 2 years. I originally got them because we could hit up the park on a Saturday afternoon without waking up ridiculously early to be there for park opening and then hit up Busch at night and the next day since Busch is usually less crowded on Sundays but we have too many other trips planned for this year to make it worth it. Before the all season fast lane we were going to Busch on Saturdays and Kings on Sundays since that makes the drive home on Sunday easier but not sure what I'm going to do this year since I don't think we will make it down there much this year. If the drive was just a bit shorter we would end up at both all the time. -
Been there. Done that. Now what?

This is why I have no interest in counting credits or the amounts of times I've been on the same ride. We are supposed to go to theme parks to have fun and escape for awhile. That's why I personally have no interest in riding stand up or boomerang coasters unless I'm there with a family member or friend who wants to go on. Forcing yourself into doing things just because turns something that's supposed to be fun into more of a job you don't want to be at than a hobby. Before booking another international trip maybe you should try visiting your local theme parks first and try just going around and riding the rides you actually enjoy instead of making yourself ride everything. If you don't already maybe hit up some flat rides or some water rides. Ride the ferris wheel and relax and enjoy the view. -
My first time visiting the park and it couldn't have gone better. Place wasn't crowded at all today and was completely dead by the end of the night. Towards the end of the night I rode twisted cyclone 4x in the last row without even having to get up since there was no one in the queue. Weather was perfect really, not that cold and only a slight mist of rain here and there but nothing bad. I'm guessing that and black Friday shopping kept the crowds away. I've been on a lot of RMCs but I never fail to enjoy every single ride on one no matter which one it is. Twisted cyclone is a shorter ride but damn it's a fun one. Goliath was a lot of fun, walked straight on dare devil drop to the front row. I think the only thing I skipped that was open was the stand up because I don't care about credits at all and wanted to actually enjoy myself instead of putting myself through that misery. The park looked beautiful with the xmas lights but don't waste your time with the train ride. We didn't wait at all but it wasn't worth it at night, the view of all the lights is better if you just walk around instead. Overall a wonderful day and I definitely enjoyed the park a great deal but I wouldn't make a trip down here just for the park. I'm down here for something else so it just worked out perfectly.

That's kind of a stretch as a comparison, even using the word "mini." Disney Springs is a full blown "Entertaining & Dining" complex that is the size of some of the theme parks at Walt Disney World. There may be HUNDREDS of total shops & dining experiences at Disney Springs. This will be a really nice "entrance plaza" with 1 full-service restaurant, a few quick service "snack" locations, and a store. And to be fair, wasn't there ALREADY a full-service restaurant, snack locations, and a shop in their current entrance plaza area? I'm not meaning to sound negative, but I'm not sure you can really compare this to Disney Springs in any way at all. it doesn't even compare to Disneyland's Downtown Disney which is a quarter of the size of Disney Springs! Just the vibe I got from the promo video and reading the article made me think of it but I definitely agree with you. Even if I said an extreme micro version I would be being generous with that comparison lol -

From the link posted a few pages back. Almost like they are going for a mini version of Disney Springs. It sounds fantastic... "Hershey’s Chocolatetown will offer more than five locations to eat, drink and gather, including the largest themed restaurant, bar, and patio in Hershey with one-of-a-kind views of Hersheypark. Open year round, this full-service restaurant and bar will feature a second-story patio & bar and offer an innovative menu with hints of chocolate, craft cocktails, and signature desserts." -

This all looks fantastic, love the new entrance sign too! My only disappointment is that the Kisses fountain is using water and not chocolate lol -
Agreed, I really have no doubts that this ride should be a ton of fun. Those pixies cause some chaos and there's so many cool things they can take from the forbidden forest to incorporate with this ride. It's crazy how many awesome new attractions Florida keeps getting. We haven't been able to get down there this year but between this, and everything Disney and the Busch parks have been doing we absolutely have to get a trip in next year.

Yeah definitely think it's a bit odd with knowing how strict she is about everything Potter. I'm a casual Harry Potter fan, I've seen the movies and I enjoy the areas in the parks but I really don't remember those blue pixies in any of the forest scenes in the movies but I definitely could be wrong. If this is going to be themed after Hagrid and his cycle or the blue floating car I am surpised they didn't show those in the poster instead.

I haven't been during Halloween but fast lane plus is fantastic here because just like Kings Island almost all of the fast lane entrances put you straight into the station so I can't imagine it would be more than 10 mins for anything except maybe Twisted Timbers. -

I've ridden on 3 of them and I don't notice that it gets tighter until the ride is over and then I can't wait to be let out of them. -
20 years and nothing to show for it. I didn't have to lift a finger on this imaginary project and I'd have the same results after 20 years as this, nothing. You only want people to post responses that you want to hear and then cry about how awful you've heard this forum is because people don't agree with you. Ridiculous.
