  1. Exciting to see this going up. Monster at Adventureland is incredible, and even though this is a smaller version, it could easily be the best coaster on the New Jersey shore. Nah, Great White is a thing so it wouldn't. And when Gale Force opens in 2020 it might also be better, and if the Great Nor'easter thing goes well, it might beat the new ride too. And also it's a Eurofighter, not an Infinity. It will be solid at the very least, though. It's fantastic to see how fast it's going up!
  2. Woodstock Gliders and Scream Weaver!!! They also have an Intamin 2nd gen. drop tower and Windseeker if you're into those. You already mentioned you want to do all the coasters, but make time for re-rides on the big 3 (Fury, Afterburn, Intimidator.) P.S. Afterburn crushes Intimidator.
  3. Log Flumes!!! Shenandoah Lumber Co. or Le Scoot?
  4. Only feeling a light-decent 3/10 on that one. (Infinity/10 if you only watch good channels) Anthony Fantano
  5. I would recommend stopping at Lakemont for just an hour to ride Skyliner, Leap the Dips, Octopus, Twister, Round-Up, and Skydiver. I'd rather spend most of that day at Delgrosso's, which is less than 20 minutes away. It's a beautiful, small-scale, old-school park that has a great drop tower and awesome food. It has a fantastic atmosphere.
  6. ^I still doubt that V2 will be removed, but if they decided to relocate it, it would be dumped here.
  7. ^That post killed me! I think they're making fun of false Tripadvisor/Google reviews. And it's so wierd that they censored ass, but not another certain word.
  8. Personally, I would have kept the yellow letters and used the darker blue as a thick outline, so it would look like a natural evolution and more closely resemble the old logo. Love the simplicity of it, though.
  9. I love Joker! I wouldn't wait on a long line for it usually, but the S&S Free Spins are a great concept, and I hope to see longer ones in the future. Every ride is truly different, and even the rides with minimal flips are great, because it's still a weird feeling, and you can sometimes get airtime. Final Ranking: 1. El Toro 2. Nitro 3. Batman: The Ride 4. Bizarro 5. The Joker 6. Kingda Ka 7. Skull Mountain 8. Superman: Ultimate Flight 9. Runaway Mine Train 10. The Dark Knight Coaster 11. Harley Quinn's Crazy Train (I'm not enough of a whore for Road Runner Railway, but I imagine it would be here.) 12. Green Lantern Holy crap this is a good lineup. Kingda Ka just misses the top 5, and my beloved RMT (my favorite non-Disney mine train) is only at #9!
  10. They ran 2 trains on TT when I went last month for winter break. But out of the two days I was there, it was only during one day, and for half of that day they switched back to one train because it was too cold for two. They probably did that because it's always extremely crowded each year on that week.
  11. Knoebels' Flying Turns does that, but to be fair, it's a really tiny lift, and it's after what most people would expect to be the final brake run, after going through a storage section and everything.
  12. 6/10 (Would be an 8 or 9 if they broke up in the 90s.) Agnostic Front
  13. The short length of TT keeps it more relentless and consistently great throughout the whole ride. It's probably a good thing that they shortened it. Maybe one more inversion (a dive loop added onto the final loop and Immelmann combo to create a g-force triple-threat would be my choice!!!) and a helix would make it perfect, but an entire "other half" of it would lose its speed and not leave you shocked enough at the end.
  14. 8/10 The more northern part with the farms and stuff is actually really nostalgic for me, and the state has the Great Escape Comet, so yeah. NYC is actually not as good as some other parts of the state in my opinion. Intamin Impulse Coasters
  15. I guess Firechaser would be my lowest-ranked non-kiddie coaster at Dollywood, because I don't count Blazing Fury since it's almost completely powered (but even BF really well-done!) and Firechaser is extremely unique, and it's a favorite amongst my family, and it's just a fun ride that makes you smile. At most parks it would be in the top 3 or 4, but at Dollywood it's not even in the top 5 for me (assuming Lightning Rod is number 1.)
  16. Mystery Mine is really underrated, and people say it's rough a lot of the time. Holding your head to one side or forwards makes it very smooth. Although that being said, the dark ride portions are probably the best part of the ride!
  17. Music Expresses aren't that much of a priority for flat rides for me at most parks. But it is kind of ridiculous that I haven't been on Cosmotron. I've been to Knoebels 5 times, but there's so many other must-do rides! Has anyone been on a Top Scan at a park? I've heard the one at Thorpe Park for example runs a tame cycle. So I think the one coming here will be that way, too. I haven't even been to any place that has a Top Scan, but they look really cool.
  18. I think Thunderhead is way better than Tennessee Tornado, although TT is excellent, and my second-favorite in the park. If you're from far away, those are still worth it if they have extremely long wait times.
  19. ^The music express at Casino Pier is the best one I've been on. It runs a ridiculously long cycle, goes way faster than most ones I've seen, and has all of those (except I don't remember if there's anything special when it hits full speed or not.) I still need to try the indoor one at Knoebels.
  20. ^ Is correct! < Loves "rough" Arrow coasters. V Secretly has bodies buried in their yard.
  21. Intrimidator, C. Cyclone, C. Cobra, Woodstock Express, C. Goldrusher, and possibly Nighthawk (haven't been on it) are also good coasters, but Intrimidator is the only other important original coaster other than Fury and Afterburn. Make sure you ride the Flyers and their Enterprise! The Flyers snap well, and they have a Schwarzkopf Enterprise, which is way more intense, less common, and even better than the Huss ones. Both their Flyers and Enterprise run short cycles though, so get re-rides.
  22. Wicked Twister gets completely overlooked because of the park it's in. Out of the CP coasters I've ridden, it's only number 7 for me. And my trip there was before Rougarou, Valravn, and obviously 2018 RMC Mean Streak were added. Meanwhile, at Dorney Park, a lesser version of it easily makes the top 4 or 3 in my opinion.
