Weather dependent. Outside of that, if it's nice, Saturday and Sunday will see average weekend crowds. Monday is likely to be slower even with it being a holiday, as people tend to travel on Monday.

I'm pretty sure that's what Kings Island does with The Beast and Mystic Timbers.

The goal of the ride operations is to get the people through the line and back on the midway where they can spend money. Holding 1000 people in standby because you give significant priority to FL does not help you make money.

That seems backwards....

I get people are paying a premium to wait in shorter lines, but they should limit the number of FL per load cycle to something around 1/4 to 1/3 the total added to the station from the queue. I've seen them add half a train to the station from the FL lines, which effectively would "double" the wait for the queue.

It was always kinda silly how far back that ride is from the main path. As the ride is a clone, it's probably the "best fit" based on the layout.

Short answer: No. Season passes go on sale usually in August. Prices gradually rise until May/June. The difference between early and late purchase is less than $20.

If you venture closer to Cleveland, the west side (Lakewood, Rocky River, etc) have a pretty good selection of restaurants.
