  1. I honestly love the placement of it over the road. It's like a more expensive Ravine Flyer II. Uh... the placement was to show the scale of a Giga on that plot of land. It has nothing to do with the layout.
  2. This is so true. I have watched storms come in over Sandusky and the islands, and completely miss Cedar Point. There have been times where rides are closed from lightning even when the skies are only partly cloudy.
  3. In this case, wouldn't it be a Schilke Swoop?
  4. Using the "accurate" google maps, this is what Fury 325 looks like on the boomerang land.
  5. That would be the difference compared to SoCal parks. Most of these regional parks draw primarily from locals, and the populations are not large enough to consistently bring in huge crowds.
  6. As much as I love road trips, this itinerary looks exhausting. Have you scheduled in extra rest time, just in case?
  7. Would you be saying 'Go Mud Hens'? Mud Hens are a bit further from KI. Central Ohio, near Mansfield, would be my guess.
  8. Upside-down rides tend to be more thrilling to a younger crowd, in general. I was 8 the first time I rode Magnum, but it wasn't a "favorite" of mine until years later. I remember riding Double Loop at least a dozen times in a row when I was younger, too.
  9. I don't really have a preference, it's amazing in every seat and every seat. The only ride in that park where I have a strong seating preference is Dominator where you ABSOLUTELY need to sit in the back row and on the left (far) side of the train. Glad I got that seat broken in for you back when it was down the street from me...
  10. Dominator was better over a swamp. I could see Sea World from the lift.
  11. Computers started advancing very rapidly in the 90s.
  12. I thought it was opening for HalloWeekends to bring in more crowds...
  13. Cedar Point has two sandboxes on the map. One in Frontier Town, and one next to Breakers.
  14. The Soak City lot has been renovated, and the Preferred Parking/Handicap Parking was added where Ripcord formerly sat.
  15. Using tires on a coaster train made for an interesting ride. It felt like you were bouncing through those winding turns back to the station.
  16. Let me try... I think that's how that works.
  17. I'm glad someone copied Rob's post. I was going back though pages looking for it, as I couldn't remember how his restriction was written.
  18. Maybe I should update mine since my Brother-in-law wrecked my car.
  19. Maybe I made the mistake of riding Fury on preview night, I don't know. It was good, but I wouldn't put it ahead of most other B&M hyper coasters. Then again, it was cold and operations were terrible. It seems to have gotten better reviews since then. I-305 felt like an odd child of MF and Maverick. It had the speed, and the transitions, but felt like it could have done a lot more. But, knowing that my favorite rides are Millennium Force and The Beast, those long-duration speed elements tend to score higher than pure intensity for me.
  20. Man, I must be using the internet wrong.
  21. Are we really complaining about Grizzly? The only thing wrong with Grizzly is putting the Dinosaur gift shop in front of the entrance. I could have ridden it 3 more times if I didn't spend so much time trying to find it.
  22. Smaller portions, same price! It's healthy for you.
  23. New at Kings Island for 2017: PB Blaster Presents: Mystic Timbers!
  24. What is it with Ohio and coaster innuendos? We've got the longest woodie in the world?
