They have a lot of cool retro shirts at Deja Vu in the Europa section of the park. -

Or fortunately, depending on your perspective. How awful would it have been if Cedar Fair had Windseekers installed in every park and they started having issues chain-wide at the same time? I guess I missed where any of the current installations have had issues this year. It seems to me that you are trying really hard to convince yourself that they "suck" so you are less disappointed that you do not have one. -

Well if they are only getting a Star Flyer let's hope it's bigger than Manticore over in the Dells otherwise they're just wasting their time and money with this. -

The backseat is fun too. You really get whipped over the top which is a fun experience in of itself. -

Is that the announcement date? That's the same date as WOF's. -

The Windseekers have a better curb appeal than the Star Flyers because of how massive they are - also the night light show is much more impressive -

Don't Windseekers have a lot of mechanical issues though? The one at Knotts Berry Farm was closed down for about a year until it was relocated to Worlds of Fun. I just don't feel like it would be worth the investment. Cedar Fair hasn't added a NEW one to their parks since 2012. I'm still a little iffy with the height restriction. Actually there haven't been any major issues with the Windseekers this season. The newest installation (at Adventureland) has not had any issues. A reprogramming to fix some of the known glitches happened the same year WOF installed their's (as well as Adventureland). As far as there being no new installations at Cedar Fair parks recently, that's because all of the major parks already have one. The only parks without one are DP, VF, CGA, MiA and KBF. So going off a lack of installations here lately is not really a good determining factor as the market (for Cedar Fair) is rather saturated already - and let's be honest of the parks remaining only VF is likely to get one. -

Workout, really?... *face palm* Shell Shock is a pretty good ab/obliques workout TBQH. I was never exhausted after riding it though. -

The workout on Skyhawk isn't too bad. Yes, you have to shift your body and alternate your wings slowly in order to flip but I don't find it tiring at all. I suppose it takes time to getting used to it. But, once you’re used to the motion of moving your wings and shifting your body, it's a really fun ride! The Sky Fly looks to be easier to flip than the Sky Roller since it is on an angle but, I may be wrong. Actually heard it's the opposite. The Sky Fly is extremely difficult to flip but people are not having issues flipping the Sky Roller -

Any idea what the ballpark price is for a Skyroller? I too feel like that will be the next "mass purchased" ride by CF -

Spinning Dragons should be your first destination. Everything else will be minimal wait as most people will be over in Oceans of Fun as the heat index is expected to be 110 or higher. Take care of yourself and keep hydrated. Free water is available at all restaurants. -

It's a play on words Ford Fairlane is a type of car. You pronounce it Fee-yor-duh Fee-air-lane -

Yes. The issue would be the flow of people once through the gates. FF would be right in the way. -

So unless plans have changed. Here's where the new gate will be going. Not sure what would happen to Fjord Fjairlane. Hopefully just be moved (again). I'd assume that another catering pavilion would be added where the current gate is to replace the 2 that'll need to be removed. -

They won't be able to fit a decent sized GCI in that area. It will probably take the place of Dinos too - there is plenty of room -

How is the All Wheels Xtreme show being received? I realize I'm not the target audience for it, but yesterday at WOF I noticed a very small audience in attendance for their version the two times I walked by while the show was going on. -

But, if Cedar Fair has never gotten one of the smaller versions I don't see why they would start with VF. The smaller version only seats 32 people. With how long it takes to load these things and the length of the ride, the line could get insane on busy days. I think it would be stupid to get the 32-person model instead of the generic 64-person model. Who cares if there are empty seats during the week? If they're going to spend millions on a ride like this, I think it would be worth it to spend another million or two to get the larger model so capacity won't be an issue if it doesn't have to be. Spoken like someone who has never been to Adventureland and witnessed how quickly they can be loaded. Slow ops on these things appear to only be a CF phenomenon. Oh and not to mention this model hasn't suffered any issues like the larger ones have. I've been to Adventureland. When I was there last year Storm Chaser was closed because they were buying a new part at Walmart. Even if they can be loaded quickly, I still don't think it would hurt the park to spend a little extra and get the larger model. Why make capacity a potential issue if you don't have to? Because VF doesn't need that level of capacity? -

It'd probably be a version like Adventureland got if you do get one. You don't need the huge capacity of the larger versions.
