A Disk-O would be very much welcomed at MiA! Much like a Star Flyer, or frankly, just about anything that a Six Flags park got (and most of the things the CF parks got!) Again, it's all about perspective... It may seem like SFStL is "disrespected", but compared to a park like MiA, it's flush with great rides!

The Draft Application/Room opens an hour before the scheduled Draft time. Since our Draft is scheduled at 9, the room opens at 8. That means that time is when everybody needs to join by. Yay! We're full! Looking forward to competing with you all, and good luck with your Draft tonight!

Well that's odd... I haven't run into that problem before when trying to get an extra person to join a team. Ok, I deleted myself, and re-sent her invite. Try again, and let me know how it goes!

She can join with me still on the team. Once I see her on the team, I'll go ahead and delete myself. I just want to make sure we're covered, in case of any unexpected difficulties on her end!

THIS, 100% I love going to CP, period, but after going so many times, what differentiates each visit, and makes it special, are the people I spend the time with. I had a blast with my co-workers earlier this year, especially since some of them haven't been in a while. Similarly, when I went with my Bro-in-law and a couple of his cousins, it was awesome, as a couple of them hadn't been in a while, and we walked up on everything all day on top of that! However, no visit tops the one I just completed, where I took my daughter to ride the big coasters for the first time, and just experience the park to its fullest! That was one of the best visits I EVER have had, just because of her, and experiencing the park with her! Heck, if I ever write that TR, you'll see it was a very "un-enthusiast" trip, even though we rode 11 different coasters, and multiple rides on MF and Maverick. The time spent with her at the Petting Zoo, in the Town Hall Museum, letting her drive on the Antique Cars, as well as flats like Wave Swinger, Cedar Downs, Dodgems, and Troika, was what really made it such an awesome visit! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good "enthusiast" event, with ERT, and all the other perks. I also enjoy hanging out with fellow enthusiasts, who are chill, and not obnoxious about it. Still, at the end of the day, enjoying a park with family, is a pleasure that I still have yet to find matched in any other scenario!

Just to be clear, 5:00 pm there in Nor-Cal (if that's where you are) is 8:00 here, which means the Draft Room will need to open before she'd get back home from work. Or am I misunderstanding something? At any rate, I will just add myself as a co-owner of the team, that way the Draft Room will launch, and then she can still come in and join the Draft Room before the Draft starts! I can then delete myself as co-owner after the Draft.

No, we won't be able to draft. My son just joined, and an invite has been sent to pdcon's wife. So we are just waiting on her to join, and we'll be all set. If we get to 7:45 EST, and she still hasn't joined, I'll just throw a dummy team in there to auto-draft, and pdcon's wife can join it after the Draft.

^You do realize that last part was all faux-anger, right? I don't actually care if somebody has the same taste in colors as me...

Also, agreed. It doesn't "blend in" with Rougarou. They are two different colors, and one has a giant silver stripe on it. . . Personally I really like Valravn's color scheme. Actually, many people I have personally witnessed feel they DO blend in, and I also agree, so apparently, your view is simply your perspective. The reality of the situation, is that both tracks are Orange (which IS the same color), just two different shades of the same color (that look very similar depending on what time of day it is, and how much sun is shining on them.) The supports are two different colors, obviously, but they are definitely in the category of "similar." As for the white stripe, it's barely noticeable from the side. Bully for you if you like Valravn's color scheme. But to say they don't blend in, is simply your perspective, not something you can state declaratively, since they DO in fact, blend in to many people, depending on where you're looking at them from. Now you've REALLY gone and done it! One of the most beautiful color schemes in existence on a coaster, and you say yuck! (And after saying you like the BMish Valravn color...) Clearly, we do not have similar tastes in color!

^I think I actually remember that little "mobbing" of Kinzel. In fact, I was just thinking about it while at the Town Hall Museum on my trip there last Thursday! I was on the fringe of the whole thing, as I tend to avoid trying to interact with famous people (I could have talked to Rob Decker underneath Valravn earlier this year, but passed on the opportunity.) But Kinzel did seem good natured about it, so that's nice. Ahh, the good times of youth... (Though I was "old" compared to most on the site, even then!)

Coaster Rankings

Great! I'm really excited about getting on it finally! I know most seem to think it's the worst RMC, but my only other RMC is Storm Chaser, which is also often rated low, and I think it's a Top 5 coaster! I'm actually really excited to finally check out a Justice League ride, too!

So, I was reading in the SFDK thread, and they mentioned that RMCs tend to run worse in the cold. Is that true of Goliath? I'm just curious, as I'll finally be getting my first ride on it, but in November, so it'll likely be in the 50's (if the Accuweather extended forecast for that time holds.)

That was about the peak of my "enthusiasm" as I was still in school for engineering. I actually ended up dating someone that I met through TPOL for about a year and a half. (I don't know what was wrong with me.) Outside of that, I didn't (and still don't) really interact much with people from the community. There's only one person that I met through TPOL that I still stay in touch with, and even when I see her at CP it's usually just a wave from a distance. Now I'm trying to figure you who you might be! There's a good chance we probably met at some point back in the day! What was your screen name over there? I probably wouldn't have to wonder about such things... I'd just ready myself for a fist fight. Speaking of selfies on here, I was Google searching something coaster related, and there was a picture of you, pointing at something, in there among the rest of the shots!
