  2. ^Ok, I'll go ahead and do that, and just leave the Draft up in the air until we can get three more people. We decided on ESPN, right? I'll go ahead and create the league now! Joining members, let me know ASAP if any Roster or Scoring settings should be changed, and we'll on coming to something we all agree on!
  3. Chariots, by (wait for it...) Paper Route!
  4. Have there been any further rumblings about Thrills in the Hills still happening this year? I already got my tickets for the event refunded, and am unlikely to go at this point, but I was just curious if those who have hung on to their tickets have heard any update. Thanks!
  5. ^ and ^^ Does it really ruin the experience? I haven't ever been on BD, but have looked forward to riding it someday for quite some time. Is it just as bad in the very front as it is in the back? What would you compare the feeling to? Sorry for all of the questions, just curious about this, since it's drawn such strong raves from all of my enthusiast friends that have ridden it.
  6. Man... As much as I love RMC, and think every park should have one (and think they could do amazing things with the topography in that particular part of Kennywood), I'm really not sure I like the idea of Thunderbolt being touched by RMC. Same with Jack Rabbit... Now, Racer, I'd be totally down with having an RMC conversion, especially if they do something like TC, where it retains the racing element! It'll be very interesting to see how all this RMC rumor progresses into reality, because KW is already an awesome, and very well rounded little park, and an RMC would be icing on the cake!
  7. ^I hit that for the first time last month, and yes, it is an awesome roller coaster!
  8. This past Thursday. When was the last time you threw up at an Amusement Park or Fair?
  9. Intamin Drop Towers Falling off a bike? Or having a bike fall on you?
  10. WoF SDC or Dollywood
  11. Granted. But it's Conneaut Lake. I wish College Football with do away with the arbitrary and biased ranking system, that overrates the same teams year after year... Uhhh... Both Six Flags and Cedar point ARE classified as Amusement Parks... A Theme Park is like Disney, or Universal (and perhaps the Sea World/Busch Gardens parks as well.) "Cedar Point is an amusement park that brings people together through thrills." - Taken directly from Cedar Point's website.
  12. Debaucherous/10 Mario Kart games Not if there isn't any money involved!
  13. Granted. But they build it in Top Thrill Dragster's footprint, after moving that to CGA. I wish I could teleport all around the country, and the world, to any Amusement Park I desired!
  14. Laugh About It - Paper Route (Seriously, check them out!)
  15. 2/10 Fantasy Football
  16. Balconies - Paper Route BTW,I've been listening to these guys who have been around for years with little notice, for years myself, but they're about to blow up with the release of their new album September 23rd! Get in now, and enjoy their fabulous musical artistry!
  17. ^Probably not, but like the old show, I'd say "8 is Enough"! Seriously though, we could do 6, but it'll be really, really, small, and WAY too many good players available, even after the Draft. If we have 6 or 8 people, we should definitely do something quirky, like 2 starting QBs, IDPs, or both! Anybody else up for some fun TPR football? 3 more people, and I'll create the league!
  18. Sounds like Thursday! I believe our longest was Maverick, at around 40 minutes, but that was in the late afternoon (when it's always busiest.) First wait on Maverick was about 10 minutes, maybe... We were on Valravn, MF twice, and Maverick, all in the first hour and a half we were there. But now I'm spoiling my (alleged) TR that's still forthcoming... I'm glad your MS ride was so "zen", since you love it so much. Mine was quite the opposite. Even using the "trick" (which is how I've been riding it since the 90's), it was worse than I remembered it being, which was disappointing. Maybe it was the time of day, maybe it was the train, but I was hoping for a better final ride, personally... Oh well... I at least got a nice picture from the ride op (her suggestion) of my daughter and myself on it! Seriously... I actually noticed a "rattle" on Troika the other day! Oh no, start the "Rattling Troika" rants!!!
  19. Normally, I'd be disappointed to not get on a particular coaster before it closed, but with a Vekoma SLC, there is no such feeling! I just wish they would have never bothered to re-open T2 as T3, as that would have spared me THAT experience! Hopefully whatever refurb is done to this coaster, will have a little bit better resultant effect.
  20. ^ That's a bummer to hear... It actually stopped on the lift hill my one ride on it yesterday, but a ride worker came up the lift to somewhere farther up on the train (we were at the back), and I assumed it was a cell phone out or something like that (though they didn't have anything in their hands on the way down.) Who knows though... I hope they get it up and running before long though, for your sake, and anybody else going this busy weekend!
  21. ^Yeah, that does help! It seemed too good to be true! I'm already planning on going to SFGAm next year, as well as SFGAdv when I visit relatives in Jersey, and there's a chance I'll go to SFMM and SFDK when I visit my brother in Cali. So, for the cost of an additional trip out to SFGAm on either the 5th or 6th of November this year, I should make a killing next year! Thanks for the fast response! (P.S. If you, or anybody else can answer: When I go to pick up the Membership in November of this year, will I have to pay for Parking? Or will they give you that money back? If they don't, am I able to simply get dropped off to pick it up, without paying the parking fee, and then double back around to actually use the Membership to park free? Thanks!
  22. Having worked firsthand on the TV Production crew at a local News broadcast, I have heard that very statement from the News Director, and have witnessed his actual glee when bad, or even terrible events happen to report on. Yeah, it's messed up, but it definitely is true, unfortunately...
  23. Does anybody here have a Six Flags Membership, as opposed to a SF Season Pass? I am looking into getting one pretty seriously thanks to this Flash Sale, but want to make sure it is essentially the same as a Pass regarding benefits. After researching it a bit, it seems to be, but that almost seems too good to be true. Why would anybody want a Season Pass when they can get a Membership, and spread the payments out over an entire year? Thanks for any insight those who experience with Memberships vs. Season Passes can give me!
