  1. So a new coaster is barely halfway constructed, let alone open to ride, and people are already attempting to speculate on the next coaster without so much as a logical rumor. Can we all be grateful for once and stop looking to "the next one" before we've even tried the current one? I swear, some CP fans are too much for me, and I'm starting to understand why many CF fans are slightly disgruntled about CP getting another coaster when their fans won't even appreciate it.
  2. This post is gold. Very cool if the whole castle theming thing turns out to be true!
  3. I love how much steeper the exit of this immelman is than the other 2 US dive coasters.
  4. If you're claiming it will be massively disappointing if they don't add any theming, I think you may just be hoping for too much. You mentioned the small percentage of coasters that utilize thematic or scenic elements in one way or another, which is a far cry from being "standard" for CP. I think we should be expecting more along the sterile lines of Raptor and MF. (Although, I do agree it adds a lot to the experience in the coasters you mentioned, and I'm hoping they add something theme wise. I just won't be disappointed a whole lot if they don't)
  5. If there is a chocolate cake with a piece of crap on it, removing that crap makes the cake more appealing to me, and better overall. If you replace it with nothing, its still better than a crap cake, but if you replace it with something worth riding, its just icing on the crapless-chocolate cake, which is good either way.
  6. Having an extra trash can in Shockwave's place would have still been an upgrade.
  7. I was reading the past couple pages to catch-up because I've been on a trip. I found one argument particularly amusing and LOL worthy (paraphrased): "This is the seventh time you can go above 200 feet at CP, it is getting a bit redundant." It's redundant in the same way as having multiple steel coasters is redundant, which is to say, its hardly redundant. I wonder if all that complaining wouldn't have been an issue if they had gone with a 199 foot Dive Machine.
  8. From what I understand, F325 is partially filled with sand, and in certain places. It is a loud coaster, no doubt about that, but certainly not as loud as a fully hollow B&M like Afterburn next door.
  9. I believe everyone answered this complaint with a resounding YES, we do like the constant updates.
  10. Fury 325 and Intimidator 232 say hello His air quotes and sarcasm say hello
  11. I'm actually a defender of dive machines and Valravn. As evident throughout my posts regarding Valravn's progress in this thread, but your favorite steel? Those are super high expectations, the kind that made everyone dislike Gatekeeper.
  12. Warning: Stay away in mid-August. Hours ranged from 45 minutes to 2 hours. I waited an hour and 30 for my 4th Skyrush reride, and it was still worth it, albeit a bit miserable in the summer heat.
  13. ^My feet when I step on them.
  14. ^Here goes Projektion again, making all other NL2-ers feel like crap!
  15. The crane will be more forceful than the ride it's self The crane is more forceful than any ride in existence, sooo...
  16. Engineers, man. No. More like researching the and finding out what the maximum weight the crane can lift at one time... and realizing that 4 track pieces put together do not weigh more than the maximum weight the crane can lift at once. It's not "trying to be an engineer" ... it's being able to take the information provided... put two and two together... and get a result. Slow your roll, dude. I was saying its crazy that engineers can design machines to lift that much. I was NOT accusing you of being some sort of pseudo engineer nor was I disputing your point. Sorry if it came off that way, its not how it was intended to be interpreted.
  17. Marathoning implies they stay open for more than a couple rides at a time.
  18. It's right about *here* where all the people who complained and whined about Valravn eat their words.
  19. ^I don't know why I laughed so hard at this post
  20. I should probably know this, but can someone explain (both physics terms and/or laymen's terms are fine) why a counterweight is needed?
  21. OR...like every other coaster with an unbanked turn after the station. Seriously, this isn't a new thing. No. But it's still a fun feature worth pointing out. ....If this were B&M you (or anybody) wouldn't even be commenting about the turn, its only purpose is to get from point A to point B.
