No, if they got a wooden coaster, I would expect something like Little Dipper at Little Amerricka. Como is mainly a park for young children. Or like that blue woodie at Kings dominion.

I'm surprised to see Dorney at the bottom of quite a few lists. It certainly isn't a top park, but it by far surpasses MiA, and CGA in terms of coasters.

Glad to see Looping Starship isn't leaving any time soon. Some people aren't a fan, but I appreciate it.

This is from a while ago, but I just thought I would add that it is just early 2015 and there is still PLENTY of time for rumors to bounce around. VF isn't as big a deal as Cedar Point so it is easier for them to prevent rumors from getting out cause less people are thoroughly investigating. You could be right, but there is still a lot of time before 2016.

Hello theme park fanatics, all of you probably know about most of the parks in the Cedar Fair chain, if not all of them. In this forum I created it so I could see what everyone ranks the parks in Cedar Fair chain. Best to worst (They all are pretty good though). For a reminder here are all of the 12 Cedar Fair parks. (I am excluding water parks) ~Kings Island ~Knott's Berry Farm ~Carowinds ~Michigan's Adventure ~Cedar Point ~Dorney Park ~Valleyfair! ~Kings Dominion ~Canada's Wonderland ~Gilroy Gardens ~California's Great America ~Worlds of Fun Now to start off, here is my list: 1. Cedar Point (obviously) 2. Kings Island 3. Kings Dominion 4. Carowinds (This could easily take 3rd but I prefer I305 to Fury325) 5. Canada's Wonderland (As said by many, it only has two stand-out coasters, and all above have at least 3) 6. Knott's Berry Farm 7. Dorney Park 8. Valleyfair! 9. Worlds of Fun 10. California's Great America 11. Michigan's Adventure 12. Gilroy Gardens I am open for debate about my list, and would love to see yours!

Fun on the outer seats but otherwise kind of a yawn. I consider it a nice addition to the park though.

I agree with you GCI Wooden. The system is not accurate if Corkscrew, Renegade, and Northern Lights all have the same rating.

Actually Patriot matches the American Theme in the Americana section of the park. I know, but they could have thought of a way better and threatening name to match the american theme. Maybe something like Lightning Eagle (The country's national bird). A patriot is just a fan of the U.S. It's like naming a ride Fanboy.

I want the new coaster to have a nice name, one that is threatening and matches the coaster nicely. Wild Thing, Steel Venom and Renegade fit this, but with other inverts they have names that don't really fit a coaster. No offense to fanboys of these parks but like patriot? That is just so random. Afterburn? The only meaning to that I know is after working out. Talon? So like a bird fingernail? I hope VF picks a good name because that is a major part of a coaster to me.

If they do go with a windseeker there are lots of places it could go so that would make it more likely. Down by Route 76 I heard the height limit does not apply and there are plenty of spots. Wild Thing turn around, old Chaos spot, in between the WT turn around and the SV spiral, and lots of other places because they don't take much room. Windseekers are still possible.

I love the new name Evil Streak they definitely have to use that name and they for sure need to RMC Mean Streak.

If there is no coaster next year I am hoping for a windseeker. I did not say it is likely, it is just what I want to see.

My bet for Michigan is a Eurofighter. Parks have gotten decent ones for like 2 million. It is steel, has inversions, compact, cheap, and the GP would love the drop. A dive machine would be nice, but it seems impossible in reality.

I think if VF feels the way you do it is still very possible we could see a coaster come to VF in 2016. Take Carowinds as an example: new entrance, new coaster, all in 2015. Or cedar point: redoing their hotel and rougarou in the same year. If the new coaster is in the front of the park, they will probably refurbish the front of the park. My point is this sort of stuff can be done in the same year as the new coaster, and since Cedar Fair has shown me examples, I still think it is likely we will get a coaster in 2016. I agree with you that refurbishing needs to be done.

Someone messed up with the quotes. Things are being quoted that I did not say, but it says it is me. Let me make this clear: I would like to see a coaster in 2016 come to Valleyfair. Simple as that.

This happens to me a lot. Since the Fury 325 media day that is the coaster I have been craving, I have never even been on it!

I have plans to visit the park this summer, and I was wondering: I have never been to a six flags park before and does this park have any fast pass or fast lane system? Answers appreciated!
