  1. I'm not used to this so I thought it was real.
  2. Maybe if it is a big project they will have to start earlier.
  3. OMG I sent VF a message yesterday on their new blog that hints for 2016 would be fun and here it is. I don't know if it is related to that. I am guessing this is for a coaster because it will have been nine long years since the parks last coaster. I know this is nearly impossible but I hope it is a giant full circut launch that grazes the height limit. The reason I believe this is even a shred possible is because of this thought I've had in the back of my head for a while is in 1996 we got wild thing for the 20th Anniversary and that might have equaled a giga back then for value. For the 30th anniversary we got extreme swing that to this day is one of the better flats out there and we are one of the only CF parks to have. So for the 40th the pattern predicts something awesome. No negativity please this is all just pure speculation.
  4. That's good that the gazebo is being used for something more important than awful karaoke. I was starting to think they should replace it with a flat ride.
  5. I hope not. I want to see the amphitheater make way for something thrilling.
  6. Those rides look so lonely. Man, the off season is killing me. We are three months in and have three months to go.
  7. Ok maybe a Windseeker isn't as likely as I thought but we could still get one or another flat in the spaces I brought up. I don't see why every time I bring up a new possibility everyone immediately denies it. I know if may not happen but aren't we all here just making predictions?
  8. Worlds of Fun just got one in 2014.
  9. Pepsi Orange Streak @ Nickelodeon Universe, Mall of America
  10. Well I think it is likely we will be seeing more parts of ValleyFair being remodeled since they just turned the Steel Venom area into route 76. Another thing is I think we may see our next flat go in one of three open spaces: 1. Everybody's first go to option: The WT turn around 2. The empty scrambler space near the entrance 3. The space where the tiller whirl used to live by the wild thing station. A Windseeker could go in any of these spaces and since Cedar Fair is giving them out like candy I expect one to fill in one of those spaces in the next five years.
  11. On second thought I think ValleyFair has a decent entrance for right now but a coaster could still interact with it. What I mean is the entire entrance doesn't have to be redone but a few upgrades would be nice. It just seems like right now there are lots of better ways to spend the money.
  12. I would like to see the wave become part of the water park because I love the ride but I hate being wet in my clothes and imagine lots of people share my opinion. In the water park it wouldn't matter if you got wet and I think it would be very popular. I would ride it over and over. If a coaster replaced wave for wow factor at the front of the park I hope it isn't lame. I would hope for a gatekeeper entrance or better but I don't know if that is likely. Does anyone know if a rollercoaster in the cedar fair chain has a splash down?
  13. Okay I still don't see how I did anything wrong but I don't care anymore lets just move on.
  14. Are you serious????? This video is complete speculation. This video gives no insight beyond what is already common sense, don't duplicate your current coasters. For the most part the guy considers coasters the park already has and says any style not already in the park is a possibility. Duh!!!!!!!!! Don't be a jerk. I posted this for a reason and I guess you didn't see it. He made some points that I think many people would find helpful. 1. Cedar Fair won't install a wing rider in another park until 2018 or later. 2. It is still possible for a Cedar Fair park to get a coaster by Intamin. Next time pay attention before you call people out. Umm... still speculation. Not really anything past what is essentially common knowledge, and the rest is complete speculation. Hes not trying to call you out (neither am I), but you need to take into account what you're listening to and who you're posting it to. Many of us on here don't need to listen to fanboys speculating on YouTube with no released information. I told you guys what the video was. You knew what you were getting into.
  15. ^ I feel the same way about riptide but I would not want to see it go because then VF would be more desperate for thrilling flat rides and I want to move forward.

  17. I found this video for what could be coming to Kings Dominion in 2016, but lots of the things this guy said in the video about how Cedar Fair will pick their coasters shows what is likely and unlikely for valleyfair. It also gives hope for future Intamin coasters at valleyfair. If any of you would be interested in this then please check it out!
  18. What do you guys think is a better coaster? Renegade, or Prowler at World of Fun. I am kind of biased to pick Renegade so I want to know your opinions!
  19. Rock Bottom Plunge in the Mall of America. I rode it last month
  20. Wow it is a lot closer to wild thing than I thought it would be.
  21. This isn't very important but if any of you went to VF in the 2014 season you may remember a purple water bottle with northern lights on it in all the stores. VF just released a picture of the 2015 water bottle which is turquoise with soak city on it. This is just getting me excited for the 2015 season. Who else here is a season pass holder? WOOOOOOOO!!!
  22. I am okay with B&M or intamin I just want something awesome! I hope it has a speed higher than 70mph.
  23. I know it isn't open yet but what about ThunderBird at holiday world? That looks like a nice launch coaster.
  24. Another thing that would be kinda cool is if mad mouse got rethemed and got spinning cars. Not a big change but it could happen in an off year. I am okay with any B&M for our next coaster just as long as it is decent and not some trashy hand-me-down. I definetly agree that we need a high thrill attraction and we need it SOON.
  25. I don't think B&M has done this yet but maybe they could make a launched accelerator ride for some of the CF parks that need launch coasters. ValleyFair has Steel Venom which has a launch and goes under the track, but ValleyFair still needs a full circuit invert and a full circuit launched coaster so those are my favorite possibilities for ValleyFair. Accelerator was 13,000,000 at knott's, but with B&M it could go more expensive and I think ValleyFair may be able to afford it. It would be the same size as the one at knotts so it would just graze the height limit. The GP and coaster enthusiasts would love it and it would grow ValleyFair majorly. With a nine year gap between our last coaster if it does come in 2016 I think VF would spend a little more than they normally would. Especially because Renegade was very cheap for how awesome it is. Now an invert is a better option in many peoples opinion so that could come next but when our next coaster is due I can see an Accelerator repacing the Dinos. There is a few kinks in the plan but it's a good one.
