  1. Easily of the three RMC is my favorite (don't judge! haven't been on any amazing Intamin or B&Ms yet) with B&M second and Intamin placing last. Intamin: Xcelerator (Runner up: Superman Escape from Krypton) B&M: Goliath SFoG (Runner up: Wild Eagle) RMC: Iron Rattler (Runner up: New Texas Giant)
  2. First off, thank you for all your input! Would you say that a true RMC wooden coaster, like Outlaw Run or Goliath, is better than a wood-steel hybrid, like Ntag or Irat? Thanks again!
  3. Soooo, there is a possible St. Louis trip this summer to visit family on the cards this summer. I see this park is rather close (maybe a 3 and a half hours) and I would want to know if it is worth it, or should I stick with Six Flags over St. Louis? I have been to Dollywood, SDC's sister park, and had my best day at a park ever there. Although, keep in mind that this would truly have to be a special park if I were to convince them. Thanks!
  4. Dang! My summer is looking awesome! May 16th- Knott's May 2nd-SFMM May 4th- East Coast Theme Park Trip May 14th- Las Vegas, Park City, Lagoon Rest of summer- whatever I really want! I'm gonna get at least 80+ new credits this summer!
  5. I'm sure that if anyone of you have been to Disneyland and gone on Buzz Lightyear, you have probably gotten stuck. A Though most of the time when you get stuck on a ride, it is an unpleasant experience, A shooting dark ride is the complete opposite.
  6. This ride never stops! If there was one word to describe Twisted Colossus, I would say relentless. Btw, that double down looks a lot better when a train is going through it.
  7. With the new addition of Wicked Cyclone, There is now competition for best ride in the park. I have never been to the park, but I am visiting on June 10 this summer. If you have never been to SFNE, would you go to Bizzaro or Wicked Cyclone first. Btw, I love RMC's and have never ridden an intamin hyper. Thanks!
  8. Have you ever had a ride on a ride that you will never forget? Maybe it was your first roller coaster or maybe you rode the beast at night. Whatever it is, post it here. Tell us the ride and why you won't forget it. My moment took place when we went to Six Flags Over Texas around 6:00. We headed straight for the New Texas Giant. It was still light out, yet it was nearing to be dark. We waited in an hour and a half long line for the best experience I've ever had on a ride. When we got to the station, we were assigned (with luck ) the front row. At approximately 7:30, the ride started. It was officially night; there was no light to be seen from the sun at all. The ride was so amazing and packed with airtime that I started crying in the ride. At that point, Ntag was firmly placed at no. one in my top ten with no competition. To this day it has barely budged, moving to the number 2 spot be behind Iron Rattler. I haven't ridden this ride since, but I can't wait to feel all the airtime again. I will never forget my ride on the New Texas Giant at night. Can't wait to here your stories!
  9. Looks like I'll be heading to Knott's to pick up platinum season passes. This summer we are heading to 3 Cedar Fair parks (Cedar Point, King's Island, and Carowinds) and will need admission to the park. We are planning to go May 16, the day after The Voyage to the Iron Reef SHOULD open.
  10. Without doubt, X2 reigns supreme at SFMM. They have quantity, yet lack in quality. Until 2015...
  11. Nothing over 200 feet is a bad addition to the park. I bet it's a B&M, but we can hope for a Bizzaro, Expedition Gefore ride.
  12. First B&M was Tatsu at SFMM, the first and only flying coaster
  13. These are only ones I have ridden. 2001! 3. Wile E. Coyote's Grand Canyon Blaster (Six Flags over Texas) 2. California Screamin' (Disney's California Adventure) 1. Titan (Six Flags over Texas)
  14. Through an odd turn of events, it looks like i'll be heading here this summer. Along the way, we are going through Las Vegas, for the Adventure Dome and Stratosphere, and Park City Mountain resort, home of the longest alpine coaster in the world. Can anybody tell me whether or not Cannibal is open to the general Public? If not, can you tell me the approximate date. Any help would be appreciated! Can't wait!
  15. I am visiting Carowinds for the first time this summer, so I have two questions: Which is better, Intimidator or Fury 325? What should be our first ride of the day?
  16. Closest park to me is probably Universal Studios Hollywood, but I tend to go to Magic Mountain much more. So I would have to call SFMM my home park.
  17. My last coaster was (#66) Speedy Gonzalez: Hot rod Racers at SFMM.
  18. This, IMHO, looks like the best new coaster for 2015 other than TC at Magic Mountain. That being said, there is no doubt that this will be better than most B&M hypers, Intimidator included. I'll be checking out the whole park and Fury 325 this summer, so I can't make a final decision whether it's worth all the hype that it's gotten, or not.
  19. I live very close to the park and my family and I are planning to go on its opening week. In fact, we just got back from park. They have not quite finished the high-five element, but they are very close. Also, regarding Scream's paint job. They have painted the whole track blue with orange supports. It looks like they got rid of the yellow altogether.
  20. Can't wait! I'm going next weekend with a platinum flashpass. I would love to see the high-five element up.
