This dead pancaked crow has been out in the middle of one of the streets I take on my home from college for 2 weeks now. It's still currently waiting for another car to run it over once again.

Nope, not RR but it is a B&M Standup. One hint: if you have Dave Bennett's book, Roller Coaster, you'll definitely see it. I did happen to throw the art instructor in through a loop though (No pun intended). She said that the trains would be rather difficult in the photo yet at the end of class she was amazed at how it came out. I did happen to eliminate the lift hill and the first loop due to time and dificulty. I'll keep you posted as I have the class on Tuesdays and Thursdays and possible weekend homework/updates. EDIT: Here's a not-to-close up of the train (as seen in my avatar). Too close makes it look like a bunch of random dots.

Ok, mid-term projects are springing about and this is one of the only mid-terms I'm actually enjoying so far. We have to do a stipple drawing of either a hairless animal or a landscape/scene. So what do I choose? I will keep you guys updated as I carry on with the project, which is approx 3 weeks. Let's see if anyone can guess what coaster it is... Picture 1 of the Mid-term drawing

Ditto that. At work yesterday, I checked TPR during break. A co-worker said "Man, what's with you and theme parks?" and I explained to him all about it.

The stall at SFMW was due to a non-releasing cable, which slowed the train down prior to entering the boomerang and voila! Stranded riders enjoying a boomerang section without the headbanging.

I can definitely tell you that plane tickets will be nearly impossible to get a hold of. Our neighbors had a family emergency back east this last summer and we spent the entire day searching for open flights to get them to Vermont by the following day on the 4th of July weekend. Just find a buddy and camp out somewhere away from the hurricane area.

I've played pacman and I don't run around in dark rooms munching on pills and have ghosts chase me. Wait a sec, I'm currently taking sinus medication so I do pop the pills like pacman I've played Mario Bros and I'm not addicted to shrooms or hit my head on low ceilings or crawl through pipes. I've played Metroid and I still can't manage to roll into a small ball and roll around or do a flippy jump. I play RCT but yea...I do ride coasters and stuff but that's different. I play Super Smash Bros and I still don't have any special moves that are unique to me. Personally, I think that people who blame video games are just finding an excuse for their lack of responsibility towards their children. It's like "My child beat up some kid today at school, got expelled but hey, I'll blame that new Mortal Kombat game he just bought last night."

And that's the reason why I work "Behind the scenes" in production.

w0o0t!!11! I found my mini key-chain digital camera today. I just need batteries and then I can take it anywhere for any random photo TR I have in mind. I should do a TR of a day in college.

2 Rants: #1: I'm driving along and I see a car move over to the lane I'm in but right on my arse. I could only see the car's black hood and part of it's headlights. First reaction, I do the E-Stop check and the car layed off. Little did I know, I had a brown-noser cop behind me. I couldn't tell because he was that close that I didn't see the rest of the car. The point of this rant is that cops are definitely no better than the rest of us drivers. They're just as bad. I'm just glad I didn't get pulled over otherwise I would have been arguing with the cop telling him how unsafe he was driving #2: I work in a DVD Transfer lab where you basically get vhs, digital-8, DV, and other film-based media transfered to DVD. Why on earth would someone spend the money to have a poor quality recording of Star Wars Episode 1 transfered to DVD when they could have bought it in the store for a lot cheaper and much better quality? Do these people seriously think that when we convert it to DVD it's going to be all DVD quality? Oh well, more money for us!

I would hope that this kiddy section would be more like a family section so that there's something for everyone. They could use a spinning mouse coaster or something as the main attraction in this kiddy add-on and throw in a rock-n-tug and some other family-oriented flats.

Are in-game cheats ok? I mean, I have mine set up with a "Cheat family" where each member is named according to the cheat (John Wardley, etc...) and they automatically enter my park upon loading.

Busch Gardens (FL) 60% Theme, 65% Rides, 60% Atmosphere, 32% Value I've never been there but maybe it would be my favorite park once I do visit.

I'm sure our cops here would somehow make it "your fault" even if they did hit you from behind. I actually had to stop on my street because a cop decided he wanted to race down the street driving on both sides of the road. To top it off, our cops pull us over for not stopping at stop signs yet they almost always never stop, but just drift thru.

A co-worker showed me this last week and I found this quite funny. As you know, the 'I'm feeling lucky' button takes you to the first found site on the search results. Search for the word "Failure" and look at where it takes you to. Google has quite a sense of humor You can also do a normal search as well and see the first result. My GBA will soo be able to play video clips, show images, and play MP3s as well as play NES games soon, and I"ve got an iPod already so I'm already set.

You know that you love Vekoma that much that you'll do their logo & name! But then again, your shelf may rattle for no apparent reason and knock things off of it!

I remember watching the Tilt Coaster's animation on Vekoma's website a while back (before G-Max was built) and I thought it was really sweet. I still wouldn't mind riding it today. Vekoma comes up with some brilliant ideas but kinda need to work on executing them successfully/smoothly.
