I work at Target too. But I've been lucky the last couple years I've worked there since I've never had to open on Black Friday. My shifts usually start in the afternoon and go until the store closes. But I heard all kinds of crazy stories from this year. Like there was almost a fist fight over some TVs we had on sale. Security was able to stop it before anything went down. But people just lose their minds! I don't think I'll ever be brave/stupid enough to go out and shop early on Black Friday.

I really like C-3PO. He was always my favorite Star Wars character. But this news makes me a little nervous. I'll reserve final judgement until I've been on the new ride a few times, but I don't think this is a good idea at all. I am glad to hear that there will be a place for Captain Rex somewhere.

It's been a really long time since I've updated this thread. I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that the web-series is no longer happening. We lost some of the locations we were filming at, and finding time to schedule shoots became ridiculously difficult. We did finish some filming on 2 of the episodes. But there are scenes missing and wouldn't make sense if I released them as is. Now for the good news. I decided, shortly after the web-series fell apart, to adapt all the scripts into a comic book. I've been working on it in my off time over the last couple months. I just released the first issue of the comic on the Redneck Batmann Facebook page. Be sure to check it out and let me know what you all think. Thanks guys! Redneck Batmann and his sidekick Robinn!!!

I'm just hoping the park is a temporary placeholder for something better. I know there was a parachute ride in that spot on the model that they had in the Blue Sky Cellar. I don't think that it is in the plan anymore though. I personally would like to see the area transformed into an entrance for another boardwalk themed dark ride. I don't know if there is enough real estate backstage to do that though.

I really enjoy seeing all the stuff that parks do for Halloween. I really need to get some theme park halloween events off of my life's to do list. By the way Adam, I was sad to read that your wicker basket doesn't have a portal to Magicland. I thought that feature would have become standard issue by now. -
I'd actually be on board if those changes happened. I was actually really disappointed that Grizzly River Run didn't have animatronic animals the first time I rode it. I honestly think that they should have something Rocketeer over by Soarin'. Maybe a meet and greet or something cause there's not too much space over in that area. But anything Rocketeer in California Adventure would be awesome.

I've rendered Robb speechless. I feel very honored. In other news, I had somewhat of a break though just yesterday regarding the script. I was talking with one of my friends from work and he helped me re-format the storyline. It makes a lot more sense now than it did. The plot points are pretty much the same, the only thing thats changed is their order. The funny thing is that by switching around a couple of the scenes motivations are more clear, the action has been intensified, and it just seems like a more natural progression of the story. So I'm going to be starting over on the script. But it'll be a much better movie because of it I think.

^ Thanks! Pirates of Suburbia seems to be a lot of peoples favorite series. I've got about 50% of Pirates 3 shot and I don't think I'll be able to film anymore for a variety of reasons. So I'm planning to fill in the gaps with detailed animated storyboards. I guess while I'm here I can give another update on Hoodie The Threequel. We've made some progress on the script. As of this moment we have 4 fully fleshed out script pages. Things have been busy for both of us recently, so we haven't had much time to get together to work on it. It's slowly coming together though.

What's Your Coaster Philosophy?
J man replied to Coaster Cow's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I really like just being able to escape my life and reality for a day or so and just be transported somewhere else. Theming is essential for me. Bare bones rides with little to no Theming don't really do much for me. They may be fun rides and offer thrills but in what context? I'm sure this is why I love the Disney parks so much. No one does Theming quite like they do. I can appreciate thrill parks too like Magic Mountain. But I always find myself drawn more to the themed areas. -

^ HA HA HA!!! That is priceless! Well I guess while I'm here I might as well review a movie. Moon I don't wanna say too much and spoil this movie for anyone, but go check it out! It's awesome. Sam Rockwell gives an amazing performance in it. If you like sci-fi movies then you need to see this. 9.5/10

I'm just going to echo everyone else by saying that "Disney California Adventure" does sound weird. But there is one other thing I would like to touch on. Since the park opened I've heard people complain about opening a park themed to California in California. I don't see why that's so ridiculous. Imagine if they opened a park themed to California in Wyoming or some other random state. That makes even less sense. That said I love the park. Not as much as Disneyland across the way, but enough that I wouldn't mind spending a whole day there. The park has been getting better slowly over time. It'll be great once they get World of Color open and all the other new attractions built.

Nice! I can't say I've ever been down to Tombstone before. But now I'm tempted to. Maybe I can try to get some ghost dove action.

Robin Hood I saw this movie this last weekend, and it wasn't all that great. I thought it was really dull and I nodded off to sleep a few times during the duration of the film. During the last action sequence I had trouble seeing what was going on due to the fast editing and I got a headache, which has never happened to me before. I wouldn't recommend seeing it at all. 4/10

I tried a double down just yesterday. It was delicious. I'll probably be eating another in the near future. Now on the topic of the Happy meal toys. I'm getting tired of the government trying to regulate everything because they know what's best for you. I don't really even understand taking the toys away. The toy is the only part of the Happy Meal that doesn't make you fat! The food is the problem and it's still available for consumption, minus the toy. I can see where they are coming from but they are going about it in the stupidest way imaginable. How long will it be before the government bans fast food all together?

I'm not really sure how to conduct myself anymore. My ex girlfriend broke up with me last December. I consider it a break up even though she said "We need some time apart". The relationship was getting too serious for her taste and she bailed on me. I figured I'd give her time and then we'd pick up where we left off when she was ready. A good 3 months or so after the fact I began to see if she was ready to pick up on our relationship again. I began hanging out with her more. We hugged and kissed. I thought things were back on track. WRONG! Turns out she started going out with another guy shortly after she broke up with me. And she just let me get back with her because she still had feelings for me, and didn't want me treating her any differently. I didn't know about this other guy until a month ago. I'm mad, I'm depressed, and I just don't know how to deal with this at all. It's stressing me out and it's all I can think about anymore.

Hey everyone! I've got a pretty significant update today, even if there are no flashy pictures or videos. Don't worry eventually there will be. But just tonight I got together with Matt and we worked pretty hard on nailing down the final story for Hoodie 3. As of right now it's still mostly in outline form. So we still need to work out all the dialogue and more of the specifics. We will probably get around to that tomorrow. I'm not sure exactly when we'll start shooting, but I imagine it's still at least a year or so down the road. It's slowly coming together and I'm getting really excited for it!
