I would definitely like to try my hand at Hoodie The Threequel. But at the moment I'm really hoodied out. I spent a good chunk of this year working on the sequel (January-May). So I'm gonna work on some other projects I've been wanting to do, and when the time is right, Matt and I will don our magical hoodies once again! I'll be sure to keep you all in the know when that happens.

I saw Terminator Salvation. I thought it was actually really good. It wasn't as good as Terminator 2 which IMO is the best in the series. The movie has a vastly different visual style from the first 3 movies. I didn't mind it too much. The only critique I have is that they focused a little too much on the Marcus character, and too less on John Connor. Other than that it was a fun sci-fi summer movie. 8/10

Creature from the Black Lagoon
J man replied to dino's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
What the crap!?! Did the Creature and Godzilla have a baby or something? I'm a fan of the Creature from the Black Lagoon movies, but I'm not sure if a musical is a good idea. I'm kinda iffy on wether a remake is a good idea. But I guess we'll see how it all turns out. -
Six Flags Magic Mountain Terminator Salvation: The Ride
J man replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
The water dummies are T-1000s!!! My gosh, I feel so stupid for not seeing that. Screw John Connor. Robb can spot terminators with his eyes closed. In all seriousness the ride does look really good. I think I may have to set some money aside and make my way back over to SFMM so I can ride this bad boy. -
MiceChat / MiceAge May Updates
J man replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
While I'm not a member on MiceChat I do regularly read the articles on MiceAge. Al Lutz's articles are one of my favorite things about the site. It helps me get my Disney fix. -
As far as I know you don't need permission to film inside the park. However we did get permission from the cast members to film our on ride footage on the Matterhorn.
-
We shot the movie with the Canon VIXIA HV30 and edited on Adobe Premiere Pro.

^^We both had a very hard time keeping a straight face with Grog dancing around like that. But I'm really glad that you all seem to like it.

You could try using magic.

Yeah I'm really sorry for those of you waiting for the Coastertube version. I've been having a heck of a time trying to export the movie. I'm sending a uncompressed DV file of the movie to Robb. I'm hoping that he'll be able to compress it down and get it to work on Coastertube. So hang in there guys!
-
I started uploading the Coastertube version before I left for work today. I just got back home and it seems like it doesn't work for some reason. I'll try to fix it as soon as I can.

It's May 1st!!! Hoodie The Sequel is almost here! Wait what? Almost here? Yes. I've been battling with my editing software since last night trying to get a good quality file of Hoodie 2 to export. So it probably won't be until later on today that the movie will be up on Coastertube. For those of you who can't wait. There is a low quality version of the movie on Myspace. But honestly I'd wait for the higher quality Coastertube version.

Only a few more days!!! The movie is really close to being done. I just need to polish some things up and do a little more tweaking. You guys are gonna love it!!!

Here's an update on Hoodie the Sequel. Matt and I have wrapped filming!!! Now all the post production work begins. So far we are on schedule for our May 1st release day. To help tide you over until then, here's another picture from the movie! May 1, 2009 All will be revealed!
-
Thought I'd post an update. Matt and I came so close to wrapping on filming yesterday. We only have one more shot to get and then we are done with filming. I still have a lot of work to do on special effects though. The third act was almost entirely filmed in front of a blue screen. But it's coming along nicely and it looks like we are still on schedule for the May 1st release.

Funny Things That Go Unnoticed
J man replied to atem122's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
One of my favorite things is in the safety video for Soarin' Over California. Patrick Warburton says something along the lines of put all your personal belongings in the pouch underneath your seats. Then he points to a guy wearing Mickey Mouse ears and says even those little beauties. The guy wearing the ears reluctantly takes his mouse ears off to reveal a huge bald spot that was covered by the hat. It's at the 1:21 mark in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poggI9whhtc -
Thanks Robb. I thought it was just my internet acting weird again.
