  1. Looks good, also like the logo and name for this! Looks very clean and fresh.
  2. Impressive building, very realistic.
  3. Toy Story Land for Hollywood Studios, comes with new Slinky Dog Coaster AND a new Buzz Lightyear UFO ride. Don't they already have a Buzz Lightyear ride at Magic Kingdom though? Sounds like it could be a trackless ride or just a basic flat.
  4. Ok, I know this is going to sound weird but.. now that we have these nice stations.. doesn't it kind of take some of the custom element to it? Like how people would build their own stations with custom scenery. I hope that option is still available, but these stations are good for people who aren't that into the game and still want to build realistic parks. Just some food for thought.
  5. Looks really nice, the game really reminds me of Zoo Tycoon 2 right now, hope to see some more rides.
  6. What nearly every article fails to mention or emphasize is how all the parks in Florida(5 of them) increased in attendance which is a big deal.

  8. http://www.rollercoastertycoon.com/rollercoaster-tycoon-world-production-blog-14/ New dev blog. Looks really good, so hard to believe the turn around on this thing. They mention they are trying to get a build going for Gamescon, which this year starts on August 5th, so there's something to look forward to. Also worth mentioning they say they're finished working on my coasters AND tracks!
  9. I think a Premier Rides Sky Rocket clone would fit really well at this park.
  10. I agree as well, I think they're two ways to look at it though. With a new coaster and knowledge that SeaWorld is becoming more a of a thrill park with the likes of Mako, Kraken, Journey and Manta.. it will bring in older crowds. It could be viewed as a missed opportunity for them to make something for the family again. However, I think that for the most part SeaWorld is a good park for families whose kids don't like the rides at all. But overall, its a waiting game to see how this affects the parks demographics/wait times. Edit: Buy hey, I'm not one to complain about walk-on/near walk-on rides on B&Ms!
  11. I don't know where this rumor about Verbolten costing 50 mill came from, but I'd have a hard time believing that the ride even cost half of that.
  12. Looks nice but not as good as Manta on the theme. It's kinda irking me how eerily similar this is to Manta. I do like the color scheme a lot though, it's pretty unique. The splashdown though, is really not even remotely convincing like Manta's where it looks almost like the train is skimming the water.
  13. So SeaWorld is trending on Twitter tonight because one of the members of One Direction said at a concert not to go. This one kind of falls on the shoulders of the people on Twitter bickering back and forth with the fans of One Direction.. this thing wouldn't have blown up if they weren't arguing with one of the biggest fan bases in existence. While I support SeaWorld and their fans, this obviously was not the smart thing to do. Just when you think this whole thing is blowing over, more fuel is added to the fire.
  14. Literally my ONLY worry at this point is that this turns out like Zoo Tycoon for the XBOX where it lacks customization but so far it looks AMAZING! Can't believe this is the same game we saw in that trailer months ago.
  15. It's so annoying how the media is reporting everything that goes on now just because of the Smiler incident. But hey, I guess anything regarding a theme park and breaking news is a good headline.
  16. This. Regardless of your opinion of the film, it's driving some much needed improvements to the parks that will make them way better for both the animals and the people that visit. As an interesting side note, there's a chance this may just fix the collapsed dorsal fin issue. If the whales have water currents and more space to where they don't have to spend so much time at the surface, I predict some of the younger whales' fins won't collapse over. I think that is quite an interesting theory and certainly one that would be good for research to find out a based claim on why their fins tend to flop.
  17. Impressive park, looking forward to seeing more.
  18. Wow! Nice work, super impressive. Is the ride actually underwater? That's just how good it was!
  19. My guess is that people who go to Orlando are more interested in entertainment rather then learning as it's a bigger vacation destination. Also could be many of the tourists that go to San Diego are used to a more educational experience with the San Diego Zoo
  20. So Screamscape is reporting that Blue Horizons may be on its way out the door in San Diego due to people not responding well to the Cirque style show. As much as I love Blue Horizons and it is my favorite show in each SeaWorld park it's in, I can see why the market in California is much more responsive to the old dolphin show with the lighthouse. It's also quite funny because one of the camp counselors in Orlando told me last year that Blue Horizons is actually Orlando's highest rated show. He said that the people in Orlando love the "cheese factor"! This rumor does make a lot of sense because San Diego has been kind of testing the water recently with some more interactive and less theatrical dolphin shows. It's kinda sad to see the show go if this is true considering its only been 5 years since they built the beautiful set for the show (which in my opinion is way better then the one in Orlando). The stadium is scheduled to be closed from September 8th to the 18th so this may be Blue Horizon's last summer season, but I do find it hard to believe that the 10 day downtime could be used to change the set dramatically so I'm curious to see how much they'll actually change the set for this new show.
  21. You sleep at the glass of the belugas, or some campers can sleep next to the harbor seals after the spots in front of the Belugas are all taken. I went to camp last year.
  22. I don't know either however, I saw a picture of the Trick Pony concert and it didn't look full at all so I'd assume the Bayside would have been way too big.
  23. Well judging off Manta, Antarctica and Kraken, since B&M's go up pretty quick and also since this is B&M, I doubt their will be many problems delaying this coaster. I'd say that the end of May(20th-31st) is a safe bet for when the coaster will be open. They've even already begun work on the area with clearings and stuff like that.
  24. I'd much rather see Fun Spot grab some of the waterslides from WNW because I think they fit much better in their park then they would Volcano Bay.
