PATP is reporting some new rumors coming to SWO in the future! Basically the current rumors circulating are on-board audio on Mako. They did mention something about audio, but not on-board audio. Would be cool to see on-board audio though! Another dark ride may be on the horizon(potentially overtaking Wild Arctic)! I personally hope that a new dark ride won't be any of the concept art they've shown. Dolphin Days may be taking over Blue Horizons, like they did in San Diego. I seriously hope this does not happen, I love Blue Horzions, I think it's the best show in the park. The most exciting rumor(imo) says that, Antarctica will receive a massive overhaul of the inside of the building. Hopefully this will make the ride experience longer. As well as a potential separate line just to view the penguins. -

Is it just me or is the station for this coaster going to be incredibly small? -

I doubt it, lines during the summer weren't even that bad. -
I think the Key West area in Orlando is themed pretty nicely, I wouldn't mind to see the stingray tank renovated though. But after Mako, in my opinion basically everything past from Nautilus Theater to Wild Arctic could use some work. As for San Diego, this park totally suffers from that 70s/80s vibe. They never really update things like Sharks, Penguins or Wild Arctic. Wild Arctic at both parks is seriously in need of a refurbishment, seems like it's been put on hold though in favor of other projects though which is sad. A Wild Arctic refurbishment has been rumored for quite some time now.

Definitely wasn't announced for Orlando since we're getting Mako next year. Believe they said it's either for San Diego, San Antonio or both. They didn't choose yet. -

Yes, it was the rumored coaster for SWSA, assuming it will be coming in 2017. Correction: This will either be going to SWSD OR SWSA, or both they've just announced. -

From the trainers I have spoken to, a lot of them say that the shows and training sessions are important for the animals and logistically, I agree. They help to mentally stimulate the animals which is obviously important. Some of the more intelligent whales like Takara, I have been told, really enjoy the training process almost like trying to figure out a puzzle.

I have, it's interesting. I don't think that the CCC really has the right/credentials to say whether or not these animals should be allowed to breed. That is like dooming one animal to die alone. Breeding provides a lot of enrichment for the whales as well. I'm disappointed and I hope they can fight against that.

I think VR technology is better suited for motion simulators rather than coasters because you can make the experience far more immersive in terms of effects. I think its an interesting idea, but like others said the problem comes with germs and such so if they can find out a way to make it sanitary than that would be awesome.

Ubisoft to open a theme park in Malaysia
colinx replied to Garet's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Aside from Assassin's Creed and Just Dance, I don't feel like any of their other franchises are big enough/ household names to warrant a theme park for. But hey, any new theme park is good so! -
Definitely don't count SeaWorld out as they have the best coasters in Orlando and depending on when in May you are going, their new hyper Mako might be open. Would also recommend their new pretzel store, they're mouth watering! Other than that, if you're going to Animal Kingdom don't skip out on the ride called Dinosaur, it's a pretty awesome ride and one that is often forgotten because it's tucked into the corner of the park.

What's new for 2016

SeaWorld San Antonio's new dolphin point exhibit. -
This is disappointing to me but hey, at least they're adding major attractions each year. I personally don't mind 3D rides, I feel if you can make me fully immersed into the world your creating then I don't mind. However, just seems like the amount of attractions for people who don't like 3D have become slim pickings.
