It's official. I NEED this game! I completely agree. This does seem like the customization and realism of Nolimits, and the ease of use and playful appearence that is present in RCT. This game is going to be a hit. Let's just hope my computer will be able to handle it (Does anyone know when computer requirements will be released?)

That was really weird, yet incredibly awesome! I'd love to see more!

You Might Be A Coaster Nerd If....

That is hilarious, The trailer seemed like a total parody, but the fact that this is a real things makes it hilarious for a plethora of reasons. -

I actually don't think I've seen a picture of Valravn (Other than some animated renderings) without Raptor photobombing. -
Well that's stupid. Thankfully, my home park isn't on that list, or I'd be really mad! This is a terrible idea, seeing that people have shelled out $80 (I think) for a service that they don't get to use as long as they thought. Imagine a phone company says, if you switch to us, we will give you service all year long for a flat rate of $100, and then once you buy it, they say "Never mind, cutting your service off 4 months early. Sorry!". That's essentially what's going on here.

No, 2 operators is best. 1 for getting people in the ride area and one to check restraints. Scrambler with one operator is painfully slow, and I would imagine this would be the same. -
Front Seat Vs. Back Seat Coasters.

B&M Hyper coasters should always be ridden in the back. Also, wing coasters are best in the back. -
Burn Mean Streak. I wish people would stop...

For the "Slingshot", that almost looked like real track! -

That video looks great! I don't even know what to say! When I was watching the launch into the first inversion, I couldn't stop thinking about what a rollback would be like. Robb, do you have any idea when a full-length POV will come out? -
What Social Media do you use the most?
GCI Wooden replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I use Facebook the most. I sometimes use Twitter, and check Tumblr a couple times a week. I run Amusement Park News on Facebook, so yes, I do post content. I like content fairly often, I comment when I have something to say, and I don't share very often (However I'll share almost anything if there's a crap contest. ) The only social media app I have on my phone is the Facebook Page Manager app. I don't normally download apps. I go through the comments on most Facebook posts and see if there are any questions that need to be answered (And on TPR's posts I look for Robb's sarcastic responses to dumb comments, because they're pretty funny). On Twitter I mostly lurk, and on Tumblr I occasionally like or reblog. I lurk on Youtube. I don't remember the last time I signed in, I just check up on a couple channels (Mainly TPR and Vlogbrothers) when I have time. -
Black Friday Theme Park Deals
GCI Wooden replied to DaMarkSta's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm not sure that is a sale, I thought that that was the normal price of tickets for that park. That Cards Against Humanity sale is fantastic! EDIT: Cards Against Humanity is up to $60,000! -

Yeah, some guy decided that he should go into a restricted area to get his cell phone, and Raptor got him. -
Disney Line Jumping policy
GCI Wooden replied to Jason82807's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When our family of 4 (2 kids, two parents) went to parks, when myself and my sister were young (young = single digit age), we never line jumped. We just went to the bathroom frequently BEFORE we got in lines. From the child's experience, the frequent bathroom breaks were kind if annoying, because I would rather be riding than going to the dirty bathrooms, but line jumping has always annoyed me more. And if your child needs to use the bathroom while in line, leave the line, go to the bathroom, and then enter the end of the line. It's not that complicated. To be honest, I don't even know why this discussion is happening when it's no secret that line jumping isn't allowed. If you are ever in a queue, and you walk past someone, it's line jumping. -
Yes! Club TPR is awesome! We have saved a good deal of money from joining Club TPR, due to discounted admission for parks. I would strongly recommend joining if you plan on going to parks next year.

I haven't been able to be on TPR as much as I would like, I still haven't read through all of the IAAPA updates, and I look forward to IAAPA more than Thanksgiving.

K'nex Wicked Cyclone
GCI Wooden replied to K1ngdaKa88's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Looking good so far! I'm really excited to see how this turns out, because Wicked Cyclone is a twisted mess, and even after watching the POV many times, I have no idea how the layout goes. I would also go with 2, 3 car trains. Good luck on the project! -
Robb and Elissa have taken a break from doing public tours, unfortunately. TPR Tours?

When I saw pictures last night, I thought it was High Roller. Thank goodness it's not.
