  1. Until you remember that Premier also makes dueling steel coasters, and Zamperla also makes Moto coasters.
  2. There was no mention that the survey was for 2016, just "future" attractions.
  3. ^ No, just said it would be a dueling steel coaster themed to Batman v. Joker. I also got the moto coaster concept, but mine didn't mention Suicide Squad, just a general Batman theme.
  4. I took it three times to see some of the different rides they're considering. One sounds awesome, one sounds lame, and the other is something I feel the park really needs. It'll be interesting going forward to see what choices the park narrows it down to.
  5. I'd do SFNE and Lake Compounce in the same day, and head to Hershey on the 20th.
  6. Was there on Wednesday, and got 3 rides on Nitro. I wasn't paying attention to what train I rode, but all three rides were excellent. So, either I got the same train all 3 rides, or they fixed the problems.
  7. I only rode Bizarro once, last year, and it became my #1 steel and #3 overall. That people say it hasn't been the same, and a let down since the conversion only gives me hope that it can be even better if they convert it back.
  8. ^ I don't know if that is the case anymore. I was at the park Wednesday, and for all the signs they have up for their July 4th weekend celebration, not one makes mention of Batman backwards. That strikes me as odd.
  9. A gentleman behind me in line for Kingda Ka yesterday, looking at Zumanjaro: "Wow! The evacuation ladder for this ride is huge!"
  10. NY- Coney Island Cyclone NJ- El Toro CT- Boulder Dash PA- Talon MA- Bizarro FL- Expedition Everest CA- Full. Throttle
  11. I don't know about "world's best", but my favourite park will always be WDW's Magic Kingdom. The park's cultural and historical significance always impressed me, and it is the park I most look forward too every time I visit Walt Disney World. I can't wait to go back in November.
  12. Probably not. That plot of land is way too small for a waterpark, and they were only working in one small portion of the entire lot.
  13. FYI, Green Lantern's single rider line doesn't begin until you're about halfway through the normal queue, so it really doesn't offer much relief from the stand-by line. Edit: Just remembered that Zumanjaro's SRL isn't very helpful, either. There were a couple of times last year where I waited at least an hour in the stand-by line, and still boarded before people waiting in the much shorter single rider line. I wish GAdv had more, and better SRL's, because they were a life (and time) saver for me when I visited Magic Mountain
  14. Seems like I'm in the minority, but I would love it if the park ends up getting the S&S. A new, unique coaster in my home park? Yes, please. Capacity be damned!
  15. Neil is right, spend your second day at Lake Compounce. Boulder Dash is not to be missed. And, IMO, BD is better than any ride at SFNE, but I haven't ridden Wicked Cyclone yet.
  16. Overheard today at Coney Island, regarding the Cyclone: "Oh my God, it sounds like it's gonna collapse!"
  17. Awesome report my friend. As Jcoaster mentioned, I accompanied him to Coney this evening, and I have similar thoughts about Thunderbolt. It must be a front seat ride because it was beautiful compared to the nightmare ride I had last summer. Smooth through the inversions, no headbanging, and crazy scary ejector air. Not a bad coaster to have 20 mins away from my front door.
  18. Coney Island Cyclone this afternoon. Still a hell of a thrill.
  19. Got a quick ride on the Cyclone this afternoon, and the retracking is fantastic. Rode back row, and it was butter smooth, but it still gave me the classic Cyclone jostling and a few pops of air. I love this coaster. I hope it stands forever.
  20. I was at the park yesterday. Nitro was down when I first arrived around noon, but it was up and running by 3. Yesterday was an excellent day to visit; everything was a walk-on/station wait.
  21. Never let it be said that hockey players aren't the toughest SOB's in sports. Ryan McDonagh of the Rangers was playing with a broken foot, and there are reports that Marc Staal, also of NYR, was skating with a broken ankle. If I broke my foot/ankle I wouldn't get out of bed, and these guys were still going to work night in and out. That's dedication.
  22. As Jcoaster mentioned, we paid a visit to the park yesterday and were very pleased. I like Dorney a lot, and I don't understand why the rides park is basically shunned by the GP, but it makes for a great day of riding. I'm glad I was able to finally ride Stinger, and was pleasantly surprised. I think this is my favourite type of Vekoma boomerang. Rode once in the front, facing out, and once towards the back, facing other riders. Rode much smoother than I would have expected, and was real forceful through the inversions. 8/10 Don't have much to say about the other coasters, other than that they should take the trim off Thunderhawk, and that I love Talon and was reminded why it's one of my favourite coasters, and probably my favourite invert.
  23. ^ Of course it could be. I was just having a laugh at Stinger's expense.
  24. LMAO of course Stinger breaks down the day before I come visit. I'm starting to think the fates do not want me to get that credit.
