  1. Wish I didn't work weekends, because with this amazing weather I've been dying to check out HItP. I'm extremely lazy and don't feel like reading through all the pages, but how is the event? Have the coasters been running? Has it been crowded? I might get "sick" next Saturday and head on down. The appeal of riding a B&M hyper in the North East in December is too tantalizing to pass up.
  2. Headed down to WDW for the first time in nearly five years on Tuesday. My excitement was already at a fever pitch, but these photos put me over the top. Great report as always
  3. 1. No 6. Not at all. 7. If I had to choose, 4K.
  4. Excellent to hear. Looking forward to my visit. Can't believe in all my years of visiting Florida, I never ventured to SeaWorld so I'm excited for something new. Thanks for the help.
  5. Thanks for the advice. The coasters not having long lines is great to hear. Another question: is there enough for a 3 year old to do at the park, besides seeing the animal exhibits? I'm not sure of my nephew's height, but I'd love to be able to ride Shamu Express with him. (yes, I'm a credit whore. )
  6. Hi, all. Headed down to Orlando in a couple of weeks, and I'm visiting SeaWorld for the first time on Friday, November 21st. What should I expect in terms of crowds? Being that it's an Orlando park, I don't expect a ghost town, but still anticipating it will be manageable. Also, any "must-do's" besides the three credits? Thanks in advance for any and all help and tips.
  7. Best: El Toro, Bizarro (SFNE) Worst: Steel Force, Great Bear
  8. Fair enough. Never been to Rikers. Sounds like you have though.
  9. Went to both games 1 and 2 of the NLCS. What an incredible atmosphere. Easily the two best baseball games I've ever been to. Lets Go Mets!
  10. 2 more wins until GoMets! Lets Go Mets! And I know exactly where both Queens and the Bronx are, thank you very much.
  11. There is only one answer to this question: El Toro.
  12. Steel Force. The lameness of the drop is a preview for how piss poor the rest of that ride is.
  13. I wanted to bring my nephews here this Summer, but I totally forgot they added Turbulence and I brought them to Hershey instead. Oh well, there's always next year. Nice photos, ejot.
  14. Although njcoaster guy is probably right, if you do need to go to the Processing Center, it is between Green Lantern and Superman.
  15. Skyrush, back row, left wing seat. What a life-altering experience.
  16. The word is that the normal trains will return at the end of September. Unless they plan on extending it throughout all of Fright Fest.
  17. The back row of Tatsu changed my life. I thought it was going to be a "meh" ride, because at the time my only flyer was S:UF, but my goodness was I wrong. The pretzel loop blew my mind, and I staggered down the exit ramp after because my knees were knocking together from being floored.
  18. ^ Decent ride, but once you ride a better flyer (Tatsu in my case) Superman just doesn't compare. Thus making it skippable.
  19. He's right, unless you really want the credit, Green Lantern is skippable. So is its neighbor, Superman.
  20. Fright Fest and nice weather? It'll most likely be packed. Fright Fest is easily GAdv's busiest time of year.
  21. ^ Which is exactly what Mayhem is. So many people are just glossing over the fact that this is only the second ride of its kind!
  22. My only complaint, and it's really only a half complaint, is with the name. I think 'Total Mayhem' is ridiculous and that just plain old 'Mayhem' would have worked better. But hey at least they didn't go with 'Spinsanity'
  23. Of the three new rides I got on this year, Wicked Cyclone takes the prize. Laff Trakk was just 'alright', and El Diablo, while much more fun than I ever expected, gets a resounding 'meh'.
