  1. Coaster: Vekoma Giant Inverted Boomerang (with vest restraints) Flat Ride: Mondial Top Scan
  2. It's not even a cool kind of noisy lift hill, like an Arrow.
  3. The entire train just groans at certain points
  4. Pinfari RC-48. Even with my defensive riding skills, gained from years of flat ride experience, I found my entire body, not just my head, being brutally smashed in this blender of a coaster car. I've have friends come to me with broken bones and battle scars after riding it. My local fairground has since decided to sell it.
  5. Six Flags in General: 1. The Ride Rotation program, where rides were relocated constantly for no good reason 2. Marketing a Larson Fireball as a roller coaster, let alone no less than three times! 3. Merchandise errors. I have a SFOG shirt that has a coaster from Six Flags Fiesta Texas on it!
  6. So I went to Six Flags Over Georgia a few days ago. And obviously I rode roller coasters there. Among the gems such as Goliath, Georgia Scorcher, Mindbender, and Dare Devil Dive, we have Ninja (http://rcdb.com/40.htm) a Vekoma MK-1200. Rider reports told me that this was one of the roughest looping coasters in the United Sates. Someone even told me that "Ninja" was in fact an acronym for "Neck Injury." As a fairground veteran who has survived the sole example of the Pinfari RC-48 numerous times without breaking a bone, I rode it anyway. And I actually had quite a bit of fun riding it. It was bumpy, but as long as you sat back and held on, you would be fine. Three of the five inversions on this ride are unique to a looping coaster in the United States, and the butterfly inversion is one of the best I've experienced. The Arrow trains on the ride seem to have been fully restored, and felt like they were brand new (they came from SFGA, I think). I sat in the front both times on my back-to-back rides, and did not bang my head once. The ride op jokingly noted that I was the only enthusiastic rider in the short queue line that day. This is coming from a die-hard B&M fan. My ride experience on Ninja was really good. Was yours any different? Was it a hit or a miss for you? How do the other Vekoma MK-1200s stack up?
  7. The Vekoma MK-1200 looping coaster track system was the greatest model ever and the riders love it? And what if said track system was smoother and superior to every RMC/B&M/Intamin/etc. in existence?
  8. Six Flags Magic Mountain.
  9. Who would want to ride Gwazi anyway? It's just a chunk of termite food!
  10. Or something else! Something other than a superhero!
  11. Or scratch what I said previously and think that it may be an improvement
  12. What model of pinfari is it, anyway? I ride a Pinfari RC-48 that goes to my fair every year.
  13. Coolest fairground I've seen in years. One of my credits is a Pinfari RC-48. The ride is extremely rough unless you ride in the back. And it has a rather steep cable lift hill, with cars that have only a few inches of leg room. It pulls off quite a bit of Gs in the helices and has awkward OTSRs. Yet I ride it over and over because it is a rough-out of control ride. Was the large Pinfari you encountered somewhat similar? Am I the only person who can ride a Pinfari over and over and NOT come out with battle scars?
  14. First they created a rougher version of Arrow track, now a rough B&M track. I would hate to see B&M trains on an "improved" SLC...
  15. I love the smell of the Evil Pax Company in the morning...
  16. That thing comes from the underworld. Let's ride the River Styx!
  17. What? You wanna ride it?
  18. Warning: Looping Toboggan sighted. Evacuate all personal immediately.
  19. There's more headbangin' than a metal concert on that coaster!
  20. Reminds me of when I made my first no limits coaster, as a ten year old, quite some time before joining this site.
  21. Imagine repeatedly enduring a rear-end car collision for about a minute or so--that's the Chinese version of an SLC. The Vekoma original is buttery smooth by comparison. Wow. Even more so the Gouderix?
  22. How does it compare to a real Vekoma?
  23. Let's play a game. Would you rather ride: Screwcork Wonderwinder
  24. Just what I need. Screwcork mayhem...
