  1. Hmmmmm, if you simplify it reference ground and gravity etc; the concept of lateral, positive, and negative g's should remain the same regardless if you're in a banked or unbanked turn because you're still being pulled in that direction whether you're upside down, right side up, or sideways.
  2. Debates are fun (as long as they don't go overboard and stretch for pages upon pages), if everyone agreed all the time it'd be boring as fiddlesticks
  3. Well it is an Intamin, so anything's possible
  4. If we're talking of all time including defunct Scream! (It's been rough since day one) Windjammer Flashback Psyclone Colossus Mind Eraser (SFA) Vekoma Boomerang Viper (SFMM) Joker's Jinx (when it had OTSRs) Matterhorn Hi Miler (traveling coaster) Batman (on a bad day)
  5. Goliath hasn't even opened yet and this already looks poised to usurp it
  6. X2 and Green Lantern the worst rides?? Dramatic much? Just admit you're weak and sensitive to a little pain and extreme g forces
  7. I haven't submitted my guess yet, but how about a launched coaster with completely enclosed cars and you can't see anything but the people inside the train with you.
  8. I don't understand why people keep thinking this ride is going to need lots and lots of "gimmicks" - I personally cannot stand rides that are "gimmicky" and more often than not, rides with gimmicks do not turn out to be top five rides. I was thinking more along the lines of Furious Baco, but maybe a little longer. Or is that a gimmic? Furius Baco looks like it'd be that much better if it were like 1500 ft or so longer
  9. Thanks! Yeah, my friend still hasn't gotten to ride Montezuma's. All 3 times I've taken him over the past 2 years, it has been closed. Horrible luck. Ever since the makeover, I make sure to ride the Log Ride every time I visit the park. Can't wait to see what they do with Calico this year. I haven't been on the log flume since the makeover but I always thought it was the best log flume even before the renovation. Can't wait to check it out
  10. You kinda have to wonder if other wooden coaster manufacuturers have taken note of what RMC is doing and if they're making strides to catch up
  11. I think at times people have the tendency to over-nitpick.
  12. Yes. Epcot has much better food than most non-theme park restaurants. Places like Sizzler and Golden Corral have worse food than I've seen in many theme parks. Sizzler has the best cheese toast everrrrrr
  13. Universal Hollywood (10 mins) SFMM (25 mins) KBF & Disney (45 mins)
  14. Superman: Escape from Krypton Goliath if we're only talking complete circuit coasters
  15. Goliath (SFMM) Riddler's Revenge Apocalypse X (now X2) Xcelerator Scream Tatsu Deja Vu
  16. The POV video of Millennium looks ultra smooth, never thought Vekoma was capable of that
  17. Very nice to see Goliath at #1, it really stands out
  18. I rode Mind Eraser back in 2001 and I don't remember it being that bad, the worst part for me was the OTSRs smelled like ass and sweat
