How are the crowds in the weeks preceeding Memorial day? -
It's very true that people are downright mean to overweight people. The jokes, the stares, the pointing, the snickers, very inhumane. That being said, fitness is (for able bodied people) one of the few things we have complete control of. Rather than wallow in self-pity why not take control of your life and happiness?? True some people are content with themselves being overweight and I applaud that because freedom from expectation is one to be cherished. However the writer of this article is not content

TTD was $25 mil in 2003 which equates to $31 mil in 2014. Not sure how much Ka was but I'm sure a lil more than TTD -
You're absolutely right, the layout is very similar minus the helix at the end. The thing that makes Kumba so much better than Bizarro (and I mean SO MUCH better) is that Bizarro takes every element at a normal / slow pace and Kumba absolutely flies through everything. You get ripped down the first drop, through the loop, through the dive loop and through the corkscrews. The zero G roll is so good and so ridiculously fast that I can't even describe it. It's my favorite element on any coaster anywhere. On every element on Kumba you get ripped through at an amazing pace. Unlike modern B&M coasters this thing has great positive and negative forces and it's incredibly disorienting. I thought the same thing about the layout being very similar to Bizarro and I was skeptical of the hype but now that I've ridden Kumba I've been converted. One ride in the back row on the right side of the train (near the exit platform) will make you forget Bizarro even exists. Now it makes sense cause I've always wondered why Kumba is such a favorite among enthusiasts. From watching videos, looks like any other B&M looper. Now I wanna ride, someday... So I'm assuming Dragon Khan is just as good??

Wish they'd work with Intamin again, Kinda Ka has been very successful for them. I've never been to Gradv but I'm assuming along with Nitro and El Toro they're the most popular rides at the park. We need more Maverick-type rides in the US, they seems to please both GP and enthusiasts alike. Many enthusiasts are very meh when it comes to B&M's rides

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

The outlying area around CP is blah...Cleveland isn't too far away and there is lots to see and do there. Thank you! Looks like that's the place to fly into as well -

Any trip advice? I plan to make my maiden voyage to CP finally this year, know nothing about the area or Ohio in general -
Well Scream was built on a parking lot. Bizarro has decent theming, super smooth, and always has a short wait/ *Also, it may be terrible because SFMM has a buttload of coasters. Many are just... there. That's why I don't care for SFMM. But we have 12 coasters, 5 of which being B&M. Bizarro is seriously underrated in this park. I've never been to SFMM but I'm sure that Scream isn't very popular. Yeah Scream is really the most pointless thing ever installed at SFMM. It's rough, boring, no theming, and yeah don't get me started on how it sits on top of a parking lot. Hopefully they'll remove it and make "Iron Colossus" even bigger. I'm hoping MM tries to outdo SFGAM's Goliath

Most INTENSE Coaster Moment?
Superbatboy replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I totally forgot to mention GL!! It's ridiculously intense and gives sensations I've never felt before. Not sure why it receives so much flack other than being slightly painful -
Most INTENSE Coaster Moment?

Tatsu's pretzel the first time was completely disorienting, not as intense now that I know it's coming. Xcelerator's launch gets me everytime -
What is your favorite Roller Coaster?

I want to ride this so bad, it's like El Toro's hotter younger sibling -
The definition of a Roller coaster

CP's new ride would have to be considered a coaster, even tho we know it really isnt -
