After seeing those photos of the track, i'm officially gonna start calling it a coaster. It totally is. That lift and track totally looks like other coaster type track. Think Mack or Zerier. -

Anyone know if they filmed any coasters from Alton towers or Thorpe park for season 3? -

I don't know how they choose the riders that they film, but it seems that they always choose first time riders who are scared of roller coasters. That bugs me when that happens every single time. It makes it seem like everyone is afraid of coasters. I dunno. I guess they think that it makes for good TV. -

I think it just bugs me how one of the categories is "inversions" and people will give it a 10 on some coasters even though they have no inversions. It's just little things like that that big me. I also don't like how they seem to spend too much time on the people riding the coaster then the actual coaster. -

that logo ride entrance sign looks awesome! and glad they bolted that track into place! Got me nervous with it just sitting there in place without being bolted! I knew they would fix it before it opened, but what if it rained heavily or something and it slid out of place! I'm not saying it could've been possible, but it sure would've been bad! -
I will say, it is more of a rattle than roughness, but its still significant enough that I'd consider it rough. If that coaster got the new wing coaster/banshee restraints(which it won't) then that would probably help fix the head banging problem, which helps the rattle become less noticeable. But I think it would still be there. Its only the last half of the ride though, after the mid course. The first half is fine!

A land expansion would do them a lot of good. They're kind of boxed in with roads and zoos right now, and so its hard for them to add big ole attractions without removing stuff. Now they have space! yay! -
What is your next park?
CPSFMMCW replied to onewheeled999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Probably Kings Dominion sometime in early May. I've been twice this year already. I want to head to Busch Gardens by the end of the may, but if that can't happen, then early June. I like going back and forth between the two parks and not just going to the same one over and over again all summer. -
I think eventually we'll see it at all six flags parks. The way I look at this is that its like halloween haunt. It first started small, then caught on, and now every park does it. I think in a couple years it will be the norm at every park. Even Cedar Fair parks. Now, some of the coaster may not be operating at some of those parks, but still. I look forward for that day to come!

Mäch Tower is open?!?! What!!!! No way! That's crazy. Every time I go its broken down...hopefully I'll get lucky next time I go. And has the Loch Ness monster train always not had the logo on the front of the train? In that photo, there was no logo. Thought it looked odd. Is Europe in the air up snd running? I've been to the park a bunch of times but still have yet to ride it.

Hurler at KD has been closed since the park has been opened. Was Hurler just closed that day, or has it been closed the entire season? If its been closed, then kinda coincidental that they're both closed...hmmm.. -
