That looks incredible!! I will miss the log flume. Have great memories on that ride as a kid. However, never in my lifetime would I imagine Adventureland to get this major of a ride. If anything I would have expected much smaller. This really put them on the map this year. Can't wait to be back. It has been a good 10 years.

I was noticing that. I think this maybe a surprise, compared to our original thoughts. Line is not looking at bad as yesterday.

I am going with 4.5 hours. Wasn't Gatekeeper 5 hours opening day? It will be interesting to see if next weekend is worse because technically it is opening weekend.

With banners up this early, maybe it could be that coaster OR could it be the possibility of adding more then one attraction? This would give a little more reason to advertise this early, just a thought?

I think my issue with the layout (and this is coming from someone who's only seen a video) isn't so much that is has a slower finale, slow finales can be fine. The problem I see is that the final little overbank seems extremely out of place in such a low-speed setting. It's obvious they thought this thing was going to be taking that final section at a much higher speed. I have to agree with you. I have not ridden the ride. However, visually it looks out of place. In every video on and off it even gives off the feel of it being out of palace. With that stated, I do love slower elements of rides. I feel they can provide interesting sensations. I can only speak for the looks. I have heard mainly "awkward" feels toward the end. What are some other thoughts?

Which is a bummer, because they were a great deal. That is a bummer. Because that was the coolest. Getting Amc movie tickets had a good discount. National touring show discounts as well. Shoot. Maybe they will come out with something like that again.

You know when you start to fall over to the side, and you start jumping to that side to correct yourself? That's what it feels like the ride is doing. I'll put it this way. I'm trying to make the trip out to Adventureland this summer. Had we not been invited for media day, I probably wouldn't have done the same for KK. Thank you for your input. That feeling is going to personally be very interesting to deal with. Very few coasters I have ridden have done that to me. This may put a wrench in it being in my top 10. I wish I could be at Adventureland for media day/opening. That is my true home park and they have not opening anything major like this in years!! So excited for them!

The first drop in the back seat is something else. It starts off with a little bit of hangtime, but once the train gets some speed it just throws you spinning down. The corked roll is really cool too, it's a legitimate zero-g roll, where you're between the seat and the lap bar the whole time. And the first airtime hill is really good, and the first two overbanks are great. Most of the ride is pretty fantastic, except for the end. The end sucks. It's a little hard to see in the reverse POV, but the last double down has that weird airtime that throws you forward more than out of your seat and you come crashing down on the restraint. There's also that last overbank, which is just really, really, really awkward. In a not so good way. Don't get me wrong, SC is an amazing ride, it's just that after the first half of the Twist and Shout, it loses a looooot of momentum. Easily one of the best things about this coaster is the placement of the on-ride photo. Finally someone put it on an airtime hill, and the results are perfect. I have noticed that awkwardness in the videos but did not think it would be negative. However, from everything else it appears to be an amazing ride. Do you feel this is the "biggest surprise" for 2016 or will that go to Monster at Adventurleand or Lighting Rod? Loooove that photo! The fact that they put it where they did! It will make me get one!

If you found that (I might have posted about it too, IDK), you broke the matrix and the machines had to cobble together a hole to fix it. They closed that exploit around February. Perfect! Thank you for the good laugh!

Question for all season pass holders. I know I am not crazy, but I remember Cedar Point introducing a website that you would log into for savings outside of cedar point. Such as movies and shopping. However I can't remember that website. Can anyone help?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

At night. Afternoon too. Any time of the day, really. All of this x100. That’s the best seat on one of the best B&Ms ever made, and it never gets old. Any Time of the year, honestly!

Thank you so much for this update! I am loving this coaster, it is looking like a great ride. Can't wait to ride it, it may become one of my favorites! They really thought about how the ride looks through the park! Does anyone know how long it normally takes to install nets and other electrical lines?
