Hahaha for me, this is more then I was thinking for today. And yes I won't wait 45 for Maverick. But Maverick is gods gift to the earth. Its the greatest coaster ever made!!!! And I fully agree! I love that ride now with the new restraints. I just don't want to wait more then 15 mins on coasters! I am very inpatient anymore, especially since I am a single rider and waiting in lines can get extremely boring. -
What was your favorite new ride of 2015?

That will suck. I hope it is not the lift chain issue again. Also side note, it is crowded today. 45 min wait on Millie, about 45 on Maverick. Here some construction photos: -

I would love to see a slide complex like that posted! If not, then an SS swing. I love these rides! I hope it is not a super looper! What other type of flat rides do you think we could get? -

Worlds of Fun (WOF) Discussion Thread

Compare the markets and you'll see why CF is investing in Carowinds. The Charlotte area has a greater population and one of the fastest growth rate for cities in the US. Not to mention, the Raleigh-Durham area is only a couple of hours away and also has one of the fastest rates as well. Outside of KC, where is WoF going to draw its visitors? Worlds of Fun pulls visitors from Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Northern Oklahoma, and in some cases, Colorado. You'd be surprised at all of the tags you can see in the parking lot at Worlds of Fun. As I said, it has the potential to draw from St. Louis as well, Six Flags St. louis exists, but if WoF can give people a reason to come there, then that pays off in the end. Yep. I live in Omaha and I visit WOF at least once a year, usually twice, this year 3x. (Well, 2 so far, hoping to visit haunt) Hey now!! Don't forget about Iowa! We love WoF! I love WoF and it is my home park! Only 3.5 hours away, an easy drive. Just a theory, since Adventureland is getting a new coaster, can we in the near future?? -

True. There is always a way no matter what. Cedar Point almost had it prefect until someone hacked their app -

^i agree. I would rather (at this point because of technology) not have any clues. This allows for suspense on exactly what is happening. -

This is an interesting thought, with these leaks that have been happening for the past rides, do you feel Cedar Point is starting to go away from teasing us so much to try to keep it under wraps? -

With the idea of testing VR on a coaster in the future, what are your thoughts? To make this successful? Do you think it would be an up charge? -

Adding to the rumor mill, I believe I know what we are getting!! Not only a roller coaster but something else! when using Cedar Point's newest version of their app I found this: This would make sense with tiki twirl being added this year, just bringing back more history!! -yes I am kidding with this, but have you found any other fun stuff with the app??- In other news: I forgot to quote them, but the comm enemy about the footers for Griffin, could this dive coaster just simply be smaller track size and thus can start later?? -

TPR Facebook Questions
Coaster19 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1. Do you have your videos set to auto-play on your: a. desktop computer and/or b. mobile device? (or if you don't know, just tell us if the videos auto-play or not in your newsfeed.) No, I hate auto play videos! 2. Do you regularly "share" content from Facebook "page" (like the TPR page) to your own personal Facebook page? And have you shared something from the TPR page? I usually share things that are important to me, but I limit my sharing to not spam people's newsfeed. I do share TPR stuff. 3. What kind of content are you most likely to share? (Videos, Photos, News Stories, etc?) News Stories that are important to me, and videos that are inspiring or funny. 4. How long on average do you watch a video posted to Facebook for? Do you watch the entire video? First 30 seconds? Until you get bored? I usually don't watch videos on Facebook, try to find Youtube or Vimeo links. If I do, it is not the full video, about the first minute or two. 5. How important are "video thumbnails" to you? (the image you see with the > Play icon before you click to watch a video) Extremely important, they are the eye catcher for me to know if I should play the video or not. If it is not interesting then I will just scroll on by. 6. What do you like/dislike about Facebook? What features do you use the most and which ones annoy you? I hate the crap on Facebook, I am honestly slowly moving away from Facebook because I am sick of the crap on the site. There are too many ads, to much gossip, to much whinny, and to many pity party invites. I do love how I can stay in contact with people from around the world. This is why I do love the messenger app. 7. Is there anything that TPR does or doesn't do on Facebook that you think we should be doing more/less of? You are one of the few pages on Facebook that I follow that I enjoy. I get my humor, my news, and my satisfaction of amusement park videos and photos. Honestly, if you were to add anything new, I would add more throwbacks or flashbacks. I enjoy these bits of history and they could even be TPR related!
