Best Florida Coaster?
SLUSHIE replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I Voted Kumba, with Montu close behind. I think that Sheikra and Expedition Everest are kinda boring. They do have their moments, but they have no pacing. They both do something kind of entertaining, then do something boring, then do something kind of entertaining again. Whereas Kumba is pretty damn entertaining the whole time. -

Name That Park!!
SLUSHIE replied to CoasterExpert13's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'll guesss Animal Kingdom. It kinda looks like Dinosaur. -
Did'nt it operate in teexas or something before marine world... and before it was modified?

I've seen this program before, but never used it to look at parks for some reason. I looked at the Universal one. There are only 2 spaces in IOA for expansion, and they are both in the jurrasic park section. To the left of US is the cast member parking, if they made a parking garage they could almost fit another park in there, tho i dot know how you would get to it.

Here is a map where people put a pin from where they are from or put up a picture that they printed out on one of the printers available. Yeah so this is the special HP lounge inside Mission Space. Universal Studios Tickets
SLUSHIE replied to obeygiant's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If you go to the website there is a disscount ticket for Florida residents to get a 2-day 2-park ticket for the price of a one day one park. Not a Florida resident? When you order them from the website all it asks for is a Florida zip code, so just find one and you can order the tickets and pick them up at the ticket machines. We just did this a few weeks ago using a California based credit card. -
Theme Park Review Visits E3! Electronic Entertainment Expo
SLUSHIE replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I don't think the Wii is bad, but Nintendo just isnt as inovative as they used to be. Motion sensing technology has been around for ever, it just wasnt really ever used before. Nintento tried their hand at motion sensing years ago when they made the power glove for the NES. As for the DS being inovative... OMG a handheld device with a touch screen, Palm should have thought of that! Sony is retarded for putting motion sensing in their controler. They are hardly ever going to make games that utilise it, and they are being looked down upon by many for jacking Nintedo's gimick for their Wii. -
Rollercoasters and contact lenses.
SLUSHIE replied to incredicoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've never had any kind of problem with my contacts. If anything they help me keep my eyes open because they block the wind. I've ridden Top Thrill Dragster with then in and they have been fine. -
First Time on Mission Space...
SLUSHIE replied to obeygiant's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thats becuase people can see what a rollercoaster or a spining ride does and realise that it aint their cup of tea. If your worried about it, don't be. That is unless you have a serious medical problem. I LEAVE FOR FLORIDA ON SATURDAY WOOOOOT! -
Lucas Arts developing theme park game
SLUSHIE replied to TheGreatOne's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I just went to Frontier Developments website, and they are actualy the makers of RCT, so this sounds prommising. -
I really don't have much to tell you since you probably don't want your parents invloved. I guess I was pretty lucky to go to the school I went to. Everyone pretty much got along with eachother. I had friends of all kinds in high school; Asain car people, muscle car people, people who never came to school because they were stuck in bed from withdrawls, computer nerds, ravers and so on. The area I live in is kinda upper middle class (except for me and my closest friends), so the fact that everyone came from the same types of families helped.

Overbanked turns on a Woodie
SLUSHIE replied to Three's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If the supports on the overbanked turn were to be made out of wood, it waould have to be a pretty large srtucture. Or if they could connect the supports to another part of the structure, say connecting it to the side of the lift hill, then it would be easier so support the turn. I see it happening someday.
