  1. Cedar Creek Mine Ride - Cedar Point Photo from Wikipedia.
  2. Three years ago. When was the last time you went to a movie theater?
  3. ^ Stinger most likely won’t be going anywhere except the junkyard. Never been to Dorney but I always heard that Stinger was a maintenance nightmare with constant downtime.
  4. Nine years ago, the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. When was the last time you visited an indoor amusement park?
  5. About six weeks ago. When was the last time you ate at a Culver's?
  6. ^ Don't see any evidence of VF getting an RMC Raptor right now, but if we do by chance get one in the future I'd be happy since they look like thrilling rides.
  7. Tennessee Tornado - Dollywood
  8. They could be finishing the GCI retrack they started a few years ago, but it they are by chance preparing for an RMC that would be a wonderful addition to the park's lineup.
  9. Infinity coaster. Mount Olympus or La Ronde?
  10. I drove by Valleyfair earlier today and was able to take a pic of the new paint on the older water slides in Soak City. Once they've finished with painting the slides it's going to look so much nicer than before. The slide painting also makes me wonder what the plans for the future of the waterpark are now. I had the feeling that those slides would soon be on the chopping block and something new would be built there, but now that they'll be staying for at least the foreseeable future, it’ll have to be somewhere else.
  11. Bump. Ozark Wildcat - Celebration City
  12. Looks like the foundation for Delirious was poured today. Photo from VF Facebook.
  13. Found this picture on Twitter, it's just underground work so far. I imagine we might not see any vertical construction until March or April since these rides don't take very long to set up. Photo from @jobsitewanderer
  14. I want to believe that Darien Lake executives reviewed this thread to gauge interest in the information of a new coaster and just saw everyone freaking out about the flume so they named it Tantrum in honor of those reactions.
  15. Definitely: Valleyfair (home park #1, likely place of employment) Nickelodeon Universe (home park #2) Busch Gardens Tampa Universal Orlando Resort Fun Spot Orlando Kings Island Cedar Point Spirit Mountain - Duluth, MN (for the alpine coaster) Possibly: SeaWorld Orlando Michigan's Adventure Adventureland (Iowa) Unlikely but Maybe: Six Flags Great America Worlds of Fun
  16. I’m currently in the process of planning a Spring Break trip to Florida and I’m hoping to visit Busch Gardens Tampa on either March 3rd or 4th (Saturday or Sunday). How busy does the park usually get this time of year? Should I be able to ride everything at least once with a few rerides?
  17. Granted, but you will be aging faster. I wish internet headlines weren't so clickbaity.
  18. Looks like some of the older slides in Soak City are finally getting some color.
  19. First time since I started following Valleyfair that the park has closed for snow. Anyone know if this has happened before?
  20. ^ At most parks, 40 degrees seems to be the cutoff point for the roller coasters but can't say for sure that it's the case for Valleyfair. From what I've heard, Friday and Saturday are usually very busy on closing weekend and Sunday is mostly quiet but the forecast might change that.
  21. Mad Mouse for the pre-opening test ride last Friday night.
  22. I don't watch horror movies but the last time I ate popcorn was on Sunday night. When was the last time you went to an amusement park outside your home state/country?
  23. Granted, you won't gain weight but you'll have many other negative side effects. I wish for the offseason to go by quickly.
  24. The first drop looks like it could potentially be the greatest first drop ever. Is it 2018 yet?
