  1. Thanks for all the complements. And, for those of you who want a tutorial for the zipper, here are some pictures I took when I was building it. Note that there are 2 motors in the finished product, but one of the motors is just there to balance everything out. By the way, I had already finished most of the flat rides when I decided to build the park, so all I really had to do was build the coaster, the ferris wheel, and the paths. I started the park in the summer, and only built a little bit each day until now.
  2. So today I went to a new park called Claustrophobia Heights. It's really small, but I still enjoyed my visit. Their one rollercoaster was very good, and so was their drop tower. It kind of remined me of SCBB or Belmont Park, only without the beach. Enjoy the pictures. Claustrophobia Heights video.zip Claustrophobia Heights video Leaving the park It was really fun, but the seats didn't flip as much as on other Zippers After the drop tower I got on the Zipper Chaos The Zipper Detonator and the merry-go-round from the drop tower The base of the drop tower The ferris wheel from the drop tower Then I headed to the ferris wheel. Insread, I got something to eat The merry-go-round looked nice, but I didn't ride The on-ride photo stand. The ride ops were really fast. Can't you tell? Going into the loop The barrel roll drop thing Coming off the lifthill Heading into the jojo roll Since the park was practically empty, I didn't have to wait too long for the front row. The line went under the station I then proceeded to Detonator Does this look familiar? The loading area I headed to Chaos first since it was near the entrance The entrance to the park
  3. It's about time. I was wondering when they were going to get around to painting Ninja after what they did to Vertical Velocity.
  4. Well, my school makes us wear uniforms, but I don't really care. It's one less thing I have to think about in the mornings during the week.
  5. ^It is, but that doesn't mean it can't have a few trees at the entrance to the quene. Once again, this is an amazing recreaction. This makes me want to start playing RCT3 again.
  6. Its amazing the thing people do with RCT3. First the Magic Mountain recreation and then this. Good job.
  7. Well I'm really impressed. However, I'm hoping the real thing will actually look like the concept art.
  8. At first I thought it was a coaster with a train and everything, but this is still really cool, too. You should try building something bigger.
  9. It looks good, but I think you should put the title inside the arrow circle thing, so you can put the motto under it.
  10. I'll most likely enter. I was planning another coaster anyway, so count me in.
  11. It also strenghtens the track and makes the train go faster, which is why I used it. Before I put the center rail, the trains didn't make it through the course.
  12. I thought it was awesome, but the second lifthill felt awkward and kind of ruined the pacing. Apart from that, it was a great coaster.
  13. Thanks for all the complements. I took some more pictures that show off all the lights. I also made a short video. I apologize for my poor editing skills, but at least it shows the coaster in action. Toboggan.zip
  14. That's interesting. I'll probably watch it if I don't have anything else to do on those days. It will probably be a little boring, though since everyone here covered the ride's construction so closely.
  15. So this year I saved my mom the trouble of getting a Christmas tree by building a Christmas rollercoaster instead. I made it to be an out and back steel coaster with an inclined loop. The whole thing took me about two weeks to build, but that's just because the mountain took so much time to make. When it gets dark I'll add some pictures of the coaster with all the lights on. Enjoy and comment. Returning to the station Inside the other tunnel Inside the tunnel Doesn't this part remind you of Ghostrider? exiting the mountain last part of the ride side view still coming out of the tunnel out of the tunnel Down the first drop. First part of the ride inclined loop I told you this was replacing our Christmas tree. See- it has presents! Isn't the sign pretty? Tunnel entrances
  16. That's sad. I lost on the first level. Thats the funniest test I've ever taken.
  17. Well, I'm not sure about this but I was always under the impression that rollercoasters were designed using programs similar to NoLimits.
  18. ^I see your point, but it just seems awkward to have Mr. Freeze painted red. The only way I see this making perfect sense, is if Mr. Freeze appeared in the new Batman series with a red suit, but that's highly unlikely.
  19. After the spinning coaster, I thought whatever room there was left was gone. They're probably going to have to remove some rides for this.
  20. Toys "R" Us also always has some K"nex coasters. Just keep in mind that the Vertical Vengance set isn't compatible with any of the others.
  21. ^If that's the case, I don't think it's worth it. What about the other types of rides?
  22. I'd add an inversion to any suspended coaster, and give the Giant Dipper new trains.
  23. Yeah, before I had gotten on something that went upside down, I thought I would be teriffied of loops, but once I got on a looping coaster, I was wondering what the big deal about them was.
  24. Yay, for the Chaos picture! Recently, the Giant Dipper has gotten a lot worse. I think it's time for a rehab. I think this is one of the best San Diego photo TR's.
