Isn't the whole resort currently wrapping up a giant re-ferb project? Or, did they not do the whole thing?

I am sure people get pooped on all the time. Birds are birds, they fly and poop. But, I think this because a story because of the amount of poop! And the number of people affected.

Considering most of their debts come from paying license fees to TWDC, yes. I have never heard a break down of the debt. But if that's true, that's really interesting to hear. I am really happy that they took control over the park.

To further elaborate on that story, one report stated the reason police (and Hazmat) were called out was because the initial report was that it might have been human feces. Also, don't forget that Anaheim PD has a sub station on Disney property. Its not like they rolled up to the front gate in squad cars, lol.

Some people, wow. At least I have actually been on that ride and know how incredibly wrong you are about that! Not that I think Knott's is getting an Aquatrax, but that style of ride is a ton of fun and I would love to see something similar at knott's!

Got to the park this morning and got a Fastpass for Guardians. Luckily, because some friends got there before us, we got a 9:30 return time! The ride is really great fun! They did a good job on the whole thing and I can't wait to ride it again. There are some tower things that have remained (like boiler room has just been dressed up). But the new ride experience is really really fun. They really made the ride a lot more intense and its very re-rideable. And the story is cohesive! Rocket says "This is what we need to do, and why" and thats what plays out on the ride. I can not wait to go back and ride again!

When comparing the concept art to the final product, there is one difference that makes me hopeful for some digital mapping. That blacked out area of the building in the center could be used for some cool mapping effects. I am quite happy to say that I was wrong on this one! There have been lots of video of testing for projection and maybe even some laser effects on the facade! I only hope that this is for the actual ride and not just for the special events this week.

Its possible. I mean, they pull a screen up on the fun wheel every night. But, then why not just paint it in a better color, haha. Anything is possible though.

Unlikely, as projecting on black is terrible. It would be grey if they had that in mind. Its totally possible, just not ideal.

Some mapping effect would really bring the building to life. Something like Rocket crawling around the outside or one of the "cell" looking things opening up to show whose inside.

This is all so amazing looking! I am wondering how the land resonates with people who never saw or didn't really care for Avatar.

The new ride is what it is. At the end of the day, the ride experience is the same (better if you wanted the randomized drops). So, just go enjoy it for what the ride is now. We didn't lose something like Tower in Florida, so we can only go up from its original design.

I hope they allow rides to get closer to the ground without creating a giant depression under the track. Its irritating that a dark ride can't simply sit on the ground. I haven't played with the new update yest though, and I do know this issue was addressed with Railroad. So, I'm hoping that it was addressed with all the rides.

That's a good idea. Or, maybe even with Max Pass it will be allowed.

There are certain ride I do hope that do not get fast pass; all the large people eater rides. In a park that will be showing lots of lines with high waits, its nice to be able to get in line for a ride like pirates that never stops moving. Even if the line is posted the same wait as others, that line never stops moving. And it doesn't feel like you've nearly waited as long. So I hope some rides are left out.

That loophole was nice while it lasted, but I am surprised people are actually angry about it being closed.

I don't want to say never..... But likely never. Even if Disney wanted to do it, i=they would have a pretty hard time. There really is not that much room around the castle. Also, the whole scare of Main St would be all wonky too. Making the castle look EVEN BIGGER. It just doesn't see likely. The small park gets the small castle, lol.

Thank you all for the food suggestions! We ended up at The Pottery House Cafe and Grille. They had a small wait, but the food was really really good! Elissa, the brewery never even came up when I was looking! I'll put that one the list for next time though. Also, it seems that people really love buffets out here, there are sooo many! Hahahah.
