So I've got my first visit to the park coming up next week. I have my all day wristband paid for. I'm planning my food route around the park. I know Flying Turns is a good ride to hit early. I know the park is free to enter, but how early can I park and get my wristband? Haunted Mansion isn't included in the wristband, but can I purchase tickets for it anywhere or just at the attraction? -
So I'm going to be at the park pretty much open to close this coming Saturday the 22nd for the opening day of Grand Carnivale. This will be my first visit to the park. I'm not touching the waterpark. Yes, I like rerides. My plan is to pretty much stop riding once Carnivale starts at about 5pm. My ticket includes 3 Carnivale samplings so I'll be taking in the festivities the rest of the day. My plan is to start with the mouse due to capacity reasons. And then head towards Demon Drop for the uniqueness. Where is the best place to sit on Hydra for hangtime during the jojo roll? Any rides good night rides?

I have a day and a half planned for this park for 2 weeks from now, full day Thursday and half day Friday before going to the Pirates game. I expect Steel Curtain to be down for my trip, or by some miracle if it is running, it's on one train. I heard one of the woodies bans single riders. Which is it if true? My hotel is about 10 miles from PNC Park. Any parking recommendations for the stadium or should I just uber? The only things that can't fit in a zippered pocket are a hat and water bottle. Any mandatory bunnies I need to worry about? Food in park recommendations beyond Potato Patch fries? -

Ray Stevenson, 4 days shy of his 59th birthday just died. Cause of death unreleased at this time. -
So the radio station I was listening to played a soundbite that said, "sorry about your penis." They immediately played Blink-182's All the Small Things. GOT DAYUM.

Everything I've heard about the ride experience so far has been positive. But what about the loading experience? One of the big problems on stand-up coasters of Olde was how long it took to adjust and lock the harnesses at a comfortable height for riders. Does Pipeline still have that, or does the bounciness negate the need for such?

Gas station pizza should not be this delicious. This is one of Casey's limited time specialty pizzas with 3 kinds of pepperoni.

I think it'll be more interesting if this is planned as an expansion team, or a relocation of say, the Tampa Bay Ray's. TBR desperately needs a new stadium and it's doubtful they'll get one in the Tampa area. At the same time, 1.7B is a lot of money--especially when DeSantis is in a pissing contest with Disney right now. -

As long as it's not run like the Arrow mice in the chain, the park'll be fine. -
^It's been about 367 days since I checked out of my 1 night at Cabana Bay (after spending the previous 2 nights at Hard Rock Hotel) and it was fine. I think I was mostly annoyed about the process of getting to the resort from the parks compared to HRH. I remember going into the main café at Cabana Bay for dinner that night, realizing it would be way too busy and expensive for the quality of food so the 5 in my party went to the restaurant area connected to a bowling alley and were pretty much seated immediately there. Yes, the Velocicoaster Single-rider line sucks because it moves so slowly--especially after the bunnies; exacerbated by how many times you can hear the pre-show video (Hands, arms, keep 'em in the vehicle! With any luck, you'll still have fingers and toes before you exit through the gift shop!). And then the standby gives you great angles for photography of the ride and Hulk across the lagoon.

Set your expectations accordingly. I thought it was good, but not great. I wish we could have seen some of the ideas and themes taken further, but in the end, it's just a Nic Cage plays Dracula movie. Whatever you think of that will gauge your interest in the film.

I love Mine Blower. It's just the kind of ride that will beat itself to shitereens if not cared for properly so it's a good thing something a bit more permanent is done. I have seen an image floating about of the track, but is it confirmed to be RMC track? Isn't GG also working on some sort of steel track?

I wonder if it has anything to do with the park wanting to discourage parents from using the park as a daycare center? -
Introducing Mauer and Morneau. Brothers named after the former Minnesota Twins players. 4 months old. So far, Mauer's the more cuddly one and Morneau is still a little shy.

Lance Reddick passed on Friday at the age of 60. I wonder if it's too late at this point to include a memorial card for him with John Wick Chapter 4 in theaters this coming Friday.
