Hey, I was just looking at the SEAS Platinum annual pass for next year, and was wondering if it was usually that ridiculously low if purchased from this park? It's nearly a third the price of the annual pass if purchased from BGT/SWO. Also, I assume I could easily spend a morning at ZDT before staying until close at SeaWorld San Antonio?

^^Sorry I've been so late on thanking you, Bert, but I was hiding my face in embarrassment because I somehow forgot that SeaWorld, which is adding some GCI hotness next year, is ridiculously close to Six Flags. So thank you for the advice, but I've officially postponed my trip to next year and go to SeaWorld, too.

Turns out there is a slight chance I could make my first visit to the park the weekend of September 13th. I know that's a fright fest weekend and would expect crowds, but is it possible to do a weekend at the park, hit up everything (minus the houses) without Flash pass? I would likely do Friday night, all Saturday, Sunday morning/early afternoon.

New Texas Giant. After I got off, I pretty much immediately went to the airport to fly home. -

Runaway Mountain--Six Flags Over Texas. The apparently not as awesome cousin to Skull Mountain. -

Sorry to quote my own post here, but now that the ride has been officially announced, above all I think that it will be fun. It's a great addition to the park and one that most parks could only dream of. I've been wanting to get out to Kings Island for a while now, and while that may yet be a few years away, I am very excited to have another world-class coaster being built. Congratulations to Kings Island on your announcement! -

If you own a self-parking car, do you have to parallel park manually for a driver's test? -

Either Joker or La Vibora at Six Flags Over Texas. Can't remember which. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -

I'm not what one would call "shocked," but I am excited to experience the event and after sitting out on visiting the park this year, I will be going during Grand Carnivale. Social media will explode at no new ride, so start popping that corn now, boys! Now what route will the parade take? -

My final predictions before the ride is announced. Name: Doesn't matter; people will b!tch. Height: Doesn't matter; people will b!tch. Speed: Doesn't matter; people will b!tch. Length: Doesn't matter; people will b!tch. Ride Time: Doesn't matter; people will b!tch. G-Forces: Doesn't matter; people will b!tch. Color scheme: Doesn't matter; people will b!tch. Number of bolts used in the construction: Doesn't matter; people will b!tch. About a million other useless statistics: Doesn't matter; people will b!tch. -

^I know they just ripped out an Aquaman ride, but given the recent film made over $1 Billion at the box office, I wouldn't be surprised if it was themed to Aquaman. I also got my first rides in the park in tonight: New Texas Giant and last train of the night on Titan. NTaG in 2nd to last row: That ride is so much fun. So much airtime and smooth. I'm glad Six Flags took a chance on RMC. Titan in 4th row: 2 things stand out about the ride: the positive g-forces and the gut-punch that is the MCBR. From the small part of the park I saw in a little over 30 minutes, the park has a lot of dead ends and weird path choices. Why is the sign for the pavilions on the path that leads to NTaG and Titan? A lot of time was spent back-tracking, which isn't all that fun in the Texas heat. I had an easier time navigating Carowinds at night with almost no lighting. Hopefully my experiences will be better over the next couple days.

At this point, I think the park would be lucky to get Grand Carnivale and the Monster Jam thing in the Dinos plot (if CF still has that license). -
Hey all, I have a too-early trip planning question: Next year, I'm looking at flying into St. Louis Friday night, catch a Cardinals game, spend Saturday at SFStL, and fly home Sunday night. The plan would be to spend some time at the City Museum on Sunday morning/afternoon. How much time is recommended at the City Museum? Would it be better to do the City Museum on Saturday and Six Flags Saturday night/Sunday morning? Note: my SF Platinum pass should still be in effect.

What is your next park?

Six Flags Over Texas in a couple weeks. -
So I'll be making my first visits to the park in a couple weeks. So it's time for some planning questions -Best seats on the coasters? -What coasters have single-rider limitations in select rows? -I remember hearing some attractions have single-rider lines. What rides? -Does it make a difference which side of Joker I ride? -Any rides that mandate Lockers? -I have most of my entrees planned out, but what snacks do you recommend? -What would be a good idea to rope-drop/ride at park close? -Does the park tend to close any lines early?
