  1. It's scheduled for 2017, that's quite a long wait for sure... And things can happen in between, the one in Vegas has been canceled after being anounced... I do hope this one will be build, man, I can't get enough of that video!
  2. Here is a better quality version of the video[/url]. That looks awesome! I wonder the same thing! The outward banked turn is his "signature element" on the El Loco's, and the inclined camel-backs are often seen on RMCs, as well as the inverted stalls...
  3. I love how you edited your post from 100 to 90%. Gardaland remains Gardaland. That camelback looks really cool, be sure to sit on the left so the rotation into the spiral gives you more airtime!
  4. How so is that much different? Except it has to return on itself and thus be twice as wide, what does make it impossible?
  5. It is indeed ssʎqɐ, emmh Abyss at Adventure World, well done.
  6. *Apply acid on eyes to forget what I juste read*
  7. Yay! I was afraid you'll be like "no, that's one of its clone". Here you go
  8. Is it Vortex at Siam Park City?
  9. Other than the structural problems (which are not, see Goliath's dive loop), vertical loops are a no-no for RMC because they require having a headrest. Though they made their dive loop without, which I thought was not recommended. As for the OTSR's, yes they are going away, but only in their older format. The vest restraint is a great solution in the industry (though many here dislike it), it maintains people in a good riding position, and that's essential in vertical loops. Although some designs of lap-bar are allowing to not bothering with it, I'm thinking of Mack megacoaster's and their thickness.
  10. If the chain snaps, the train will slowly get down with the fin magnets.
  11. ^ That's why I adapted these seats into a stand-up coaster. But the E-Motionboard isn't really new, I mean, they'd already unveil it about almost a year ago, see this video from december 2013: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-lPmQ9djVc
  12. An anti roll-back device is redundant and the chain itself is capable of keeping a train from falling back. In order to slowly get back to the start, I think they have to make the chain rolls the other way, but if the motor was the cause of the evacuation, it might get stuck in the middle.
  13. IMAscore is the best. They've done a bunch a really cool soundtracks. From Helix, to Dwervelwind, Krake, Chiapas, BlueFire... One can not forget Euro Mir, all the other Europa Park's songs ; and those from Efteling as well (DVH and Ravejin )!
  14. No, those are actually quite different. Battlestar: Orkanen: The main difference is the beam between the chassis and the seats.
  15. What about my proposition on page 3? I might add that the restraint I drew is no more valid. Instead, try to picture something like this, with a soft vest for shoulders: Drawing from a Vekoma patent (don't mind the seat's shape. Your face would actually hit the headrest). Coloring and retouches by me.
  16. While I've put my Cthulhulossus (own version of Twisted Colossus) on hold, I'm still having random ideas. Made the latest one this morning on NL2 and it worked pretty well! That's because there's a twist! Literally! Cool pic passing by. It looks like a Takabisha-style drop. But I don't see track at the bottom..? (more obvious while onride...)
  17. Yet they're the only ones who did it.
  18. It does. See bottom left of this photo: Ha thanks, silly me.
  19. Yeah, this is for the theatrical effect.
  20. The concept-art in page 1 seems to be close to reality. However, in real life the track doesn't look like going throught the pretzel loop. (From the first page)
  21. Don't worry, I was mocking B&M for using different names when it's basically the same element. They did it on Fury 325 as well, finding a name for each turn: "high speed s curve" ; "overbanked curve" ; "high speed bancked curve"... pshh, same thing.
  22. There is definitely a part of the second overbank that is already in place: (BTW, it's not "two overbanks", it's an Overbanked Horseshoe followed by an Overbancked Elevated Spiral! Don't mix things up!)
