The "Say Something Random" Thread

I almost hit a jogger tonight. She was jogging on the side of the street (towards me) and I saw her at the last second and avoided her. She was wearing a white t-shirt, but why the fuck no flash light or reflectors? Yeah, It would have been my fault for side swiping her, but she could have helped in letting me see her more than 1 second before passing her. Plus it was night time...who jogs at night? -

Robb, come to my house sometime, I made some great kabobs a few days ago. I can even re-inact the big fireball I created by trying to light the grill with a match through the bottom. -

Trip to Six Flags New England
Token Yankee Guy replied to jdomkus's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1) The park is very crowded this time of the year when schools are not in session. It is worth to get a Q-Bot. Preferably a Gold Q-Bot which costs a bit more. On Friday-Sunday the prices go up a bit so it's like 50 for the first person and 25 for each additional. Those prices are for Q-Bot Gold. 2)Two Days is more than enough, actually one day is enough to get a lot done in the park. If you don't got the Q-Bot gold, then you might want to consider two days. 3) There are a lot of hotels off Route 75 near the airport that are affordable. I don't know the prices of them, but you can try searching like hotels.com and putting in Windsor Locks, CT as a location and look for the hotels that say they're off of the "Ella Grasso Turnpike." From route 75 to Six Flags it's about...20 minutes on the backroads to get there. 4)Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT (about 40 or so minutes south-west from SFNE) a few additional tips.. - If you want to get the Q-Bot Gold, you will need to get to the park at a minimum of 30 minutes before the park opens, so you can get to Q-Bot Reigstration off the main st (on the left right after Season Pass Processing) and get a Q-Bot Gold, since they do sell out of the Gold in about an hour after the park opens. - If you want to visit LC, you might want to do that on a seperate day, or do it after you visit SFNE. Because if you did Lake Compounce in the morning and then visit SFNE, expect the park to be packed by noon and line waits about an hour or more. If you went during Early June when school is still in session, then you'll be able to do both LC in the morning and SFNE in the afternoon and not worry about long lines at both parks. I hope this has helped you. Craiggers "I don't live far from the park, so I'm well knowledged about SFNE" K. -

yeah I got a few more. How they worked out the concept of having an indoor park is, the park is smack dab in the middle of the mall, and they got a circular hallway on each floor that goes around the park. layout of Timberland Twister water fountain in park Photo from www.mallofamerica.com -

John and Rebecca made it to CT without problems and we had a blast at SFNE today. We even made it to the Cracker Barrel Pub and I didn't get carded and kicked out for being under 21 since we sat outside. Craiggers "John and Rebecca are still their crazy selfs" K. -
My high school had you beat. Ours was like 98% white. I'm white, and my ancestors were Scotch-Irish on my Moms side and Irish on my Dads side. Craiggers "My Moms side was more apart of American History, but it isn't talked about much" K.

I knew when I was about 6 that something wasn't right. I spent the next 20 years trying to figure it out or trying to convince myself that I was a normal heterosexual guy. Gay man, nope. Transvestite, nope. Crossdresser, nope. Straight male, nope. I tried being super-macho straight guy, nope that was totally wrong. After much surfing of the 'net I was able to finally understand what I was, and what I can do to change things. Thus I started on the road of transitioning in the year 2000. I stopped living for everyone else and started living for myself, began accepting who I was and doing something about this instead of trying to lie to myself. This was the time AllisonY2K was born. Kudos to you Allison, I accept people for who they are and I believe that people are born the way they are. Like people are born gay, bi, lesbian, and even transexual. I actually know one person who had a sex change and her name is Lydia I believe. She owns a car repair shop one town over where we have taken are cars over there a few times. Shee said she has been very happy after having the sex change.

We only rode it once because we were short on time since we had to drive back up to Eau Claire and meet up with some friends for dinner. Plus the 14.00 unlimited rides pass started at 5pm and we were there at about 4:30. I don't really recall it crawling over any hills it was going pretty fast through out the entire circuit. -

I'm a coke person. Back in 2003 is when I really started getting into drinking regular coca-cola since thats what I had with my food orders in the UK, and since then I love drinking regular coca-cola. There are a few pepsi products I would drink like Mountain Dew and Brisk. But that's about it.

^ We actually have a similar system in some states over here Soren. (Mostly in the North Eastern states they have the system). Here it's called bottle redemption and it's a bit different for each state. For example, in my state you get a bottle deposit on all carbonated soda and beer. You're charged .5 cents for every bottle when you buy them, then you go to any supermarket in the state which has bottle redemption and you get the .5 cents back. In Maine it's better because they bottle redeem everything, including wines, hard liquor, water and fruit juices.

SFNE Trip Report.... 7/23+7/24
Token Yankee Guy replied to Nitro X 230's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Good TR, very honest. I've been going to the park many times (since it is my homepark) and I've never run into serious problems where I left the park mad. It's best to hit the park during the beginning of June when they're open seven days a week and school is still in session. Wait times for rides will get really low, like 10 minutes for Superman. But at this time of the summer, it's best to get a Q-Bot if you're not from the area. It helps you get all the credits without worrying about the lines.
