Great TR. I was there on Wednesday (10th), and we took cover under the Aquatic Stadium when the wind part of the front blew through. I might have seen ya there!

My suggestion is "Go with the flow". Most of the rides are closed during rain (heck, I rode WT front seat while it was sprinkling, and it felt like sleet :shock: ). If the rides close, grab a bite to eat or see a show. I laughed as I ate at Game Day Grille, watching everyone else on the midway panic. Heh, heh... Also, they've recently gotten rid of Freeway passes for the remainder of the season. But, they've lowered admission by about $15 for adult one-day tickets, and even more discounted on the senior and junior tix.

I don't know if this is realy in the name of progress... if it's being removed for another ride, what on earth could they put into such a small footprint?

Duuuuuuude... the fog effects on that Sky Sling = pwnage. Heck, all of the fog effects for that matter... those are some really funky rides! (Goes along with the video music, I guess... )

My faves are probably the wedding listings, such as "Su/Shi" or "Bigg/Boner".

Your experience is exactly what happened to me on the 10th (this past Wednesday). A few spurts of rain (actually, ours did have a little lightning with it... but, we ate lunch and dinner during both 15-min. downpours). It was really, really crowded. I'd never seen any park that crowded since Magic Kingdom on July 4th. But, hell, it's a day at CP. It's all good. 8) P.S. Magnum had an hour wait in midday. :shock:
