  1. I think that Sydney is about 1000km from the Gold Coast, so it would be quicker to check for airfare to Brisbane. As far as visiting around Febuary, I would leave it another month as the weather would still be great and the crouds would be down to almost nothing....and I might be able to get more holidays by that time...I hope. But don't worry as I will be sure to ride it at least once for everyone who can't get here....
  2. Looks great Ian, was there on Sunday to get the Annual Pass so I can ride Superman as many time as I want to over December. The only down side is Lethal Weapon has developed the Vekoma roughness, and it was running so smooth earlier this year after its maintainence. I can only hope that it was a one off ride, and that it might be a bit better on the next ride.....
  3. You came to visit Oz and only got as far as Hawaii??
  4. Sorry to hear about the little dude. I was only asking Elissa the other day how he was going...and now he is no longer with you. What makes it worse is that when Rat Tums passed was the same day as my sons 3rd birthday. Is a bummer now thinking that we were having fun while you were going through all that. All our thoughts are with you....
  5. There are a lot of trenchs being dug around my house by the power company to a new main power line through our area. As I was out driving around today with the family, we noticed that a lady had a little mishap and dropped her front wheel into the trench. So I looked at the car (a 5 door Daihatsu Charade) and got into the trench and started to lift the wheel up as another passer-by pushed the car away from the trench. All went to plan until the lady driver tried to turn the wheel, which has now left me with nice purple bruises on my forarms. The things you do while trying to be a nice person.....
  6. Ok, after looking at my first thoughts, I have had a rethink about all the clues. We have the clue "Boston", a picture of an airplane(TWA), a picture of a bunny, some Saltines, and a door. The airplane, we know now could be used by another airline, and the Saltines could tie in with the plane flight, if indeed there was one. Take the clue "Boston" and the picture of the bunny and that leads to a couple of thoughts. The Boston tea party combined with the picture of the bunny, could lead to a "Alice in Wonderland" area at a park. The Saltines could also help, not so much about the Salt, but that some people might call them crackers. Most of the people in Alice in Wonderland were crackers. This is all I could come up with at this time of the night, I only hope that I have been able to help someone with this...
  7. Ok here is a long shot....could Robb and Elissa be on or at a film set somewhere in the states. You would not think that it would be international as they do not have that much time. And if TWA went out of buisness (a little help anyone with this info) which company bought them out? My guess is that they are trying out for Survivor: Petting Farm. Just a thought.... Edit : I'll take a guess that Robb and Elissa are extra's on a movie/telemovie about TWA Flight 800. Just a guess......
  8. ^I should have been a bit clearer young fella, I simply meant two trains on that block section of track at the one time. I realise that there will be more than 1 train on the track, as using one would leave you with a que time like X at Magic Mountain......
  9. After looking over the pictures that Ian has taken of the site, I am guessing that the inside helix flys over the top of the launch track. So taking into account the head chopper going into the building, you also might get one inside the building while on the launch track. I can only hope that there is some way of running two trains on this track, (but I seriously doubt it in the way that I am thinking of), so to really get the best out of the cross over of track inside the building. However with only one train running, this will still be a ripper of a coaster, and one the Aussie Park can be proud off.
  10. ^There is no way I would trade this coaster for any other. After waiting this long for a new coaster, and getting something that allready looks this good, I like many others am just counting the days till December.
  11. ^^The park contacted us and invited two people from Ozcoaster to attend, and as I had to work, Dan and Ian went to the event. We are very greatfull for the parks continued surport and we hope to continue this relationship well into the future.
  12. Westcoaster was were I first found Robb and Elissa, and as soon as I found out about the site, I joined up. At least I think that is how it went....
  13. We can only hope that the ride will open before December, as I will get to ride it before I have to go back to the bush for X-mas with the family. At least I will get a lot of golf and fishing in for a week. The new update will have some picts of the tophat, Camel Hump and of the track going into the building after the Camel Hump. Hope to have them up in the next 24hrs for you all to enjoy.....
  14. Sent and tested as per request....I think that one of them should be easily traced back to me. And the other is just a old pick up line.
  15. Ok people, just a quick update to say that the surports that we could see in the last picture of the last update are indeed for a camel hump/bunny hill. The track was put into place over the last two to three days and the height of this thing is amazing, to say the least. I will let the pictures tell the story and they should be up on Tuesday or Wensday (US time) as Rabid is taking some more pictures tomorrow after he finishes work. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we did taking them...
  16. Here is my new work toy....very nice to drive and the cd player gets a work out as well...... My New Work Toy
  17. Dark ride section, then launch tophat, overbank, bunny hop, and then some extra bits. Hope that helps
  18. You have to let us know as soon as you can Eric, as will have to try to get a copy of it from the pay tv here in Oz....hope you win big.
  19. The new boy on the block is starting to look great.....and here we are counting the days down to December 26th. Wayne"Waiting with baited breath"C.
  20. "Are we there yet?" I did not stop laughing the entire movie, and could relate to alot of the trip, with the exception of the kids steeling the car. Well worth leaving your brain on pause and taking a trip with these kids for an hour and a half. LOL material....
  21. What did the farmer say to the cow on his roof. Get off my roof What did the famer say to the cow wearing sunglasses on his roof. Nothing, he did not recognise it. Sad, but it's all I can come up with at this hour....sorry.
  22. I wonder if Robb and Elissa are still thinking about entering the Amazing Race. I am still waiting for Australia to catch up to the episodes from the states, so I hope that we won't be to far behind.
  23. When you talk about Robb and Elissa as your "Extended Family". When invited to a wedding, you bring your lap top so as not to miss the latest trip report. When you compair the latest Blockbuster Movie Release to the last TPR DVD.....and the DVD comes out on top!!
  24. 52" Panasonic Rear Projection in the lounge room as well as a 26" Stereo System in the guest room with DVD. The big screen is great for watching TPR DVD's as the kids sit in front of it and pretend to ride the coasters with Robb and Elissa. Wayne "Can't wait to see the kids faces when R&E come Down under"C.
  25. ^Dude, looks like Rabid is starting to get camera happy, with him taking pictures every day.... not that we mind at all Can't wait till the weekend as the top hat should be done by then....
