Hey all!! I am currently planning a theme park road trip!!! The plan is currently: Holiday World, Kentucky Kingdom, Indiana Beach, Six Flags Great America. My question is... are there any parks near those that I should consider that I missed??? And/or any local attractions near any of those parks that I shouldn’t miss?!? and of course I’ll do my best to provide you guys with an awesome Photo TR of our journey!!

Phantasialand is by far one of the most amazing parks I’ve ever experienced. The theming gives Disney a run for their money, and their coasters are all awesome!! And of course you’ve got Europa Park 3-1/2 hours away! I’d highly suggest those. If you just want North America, then of course CP combined with KI.

Well.... That’s disappointing. Mystery Mine was my favorite coaster in the park. I hate that they went and neutered it.

Anyone else been watching testing videos of velocicoaster and kinda underwhelmed by how slow its crawling through the course?! (At least the first half!?) Hoping videos are just being deceiving, and it’s running faster than we are seeing when it opens! (still looks amazing regardless!)

This is exactly what I’ve been thinking!! Everyone always raves about SDC, and DW.... yet now it’s doom and gloom for KK.... I just don’t get it.

I’ve got to also go with SFOT. Sure they have a few good attractions, and an absolutely boring “hyper.” - They’re just missing that one “big” star attraction. None of their coasters really stand out as their *star* attraction. Every time I’ve been to the park, I had a good time... But always left wanting a little more.

Right?! If it's open in a few months I'm hoping we get to ride it. However, I've got a feeling I will be terrified the entire time. Not of the ride... But of the possibility of it derailing.

So I know a lot has been discussed about how busy the park is around the Holidays (Christmas, New Year, Ect...) However, I'm curious to know what people think of a mid Feb. trip. Is the park usually crowded around that time, or has it pretty much died off from the Holidays at that point? - TIA!

Question for those of you who are more familiar with the park than I am. I’m going to be in Atlanta in Feb. for work.... Is SFOG open in Feb usually?? Or does it not open till later? - Forgive me for not being familiar with their operating season.

Okay.... question!! I’m currently planning a trip to USO for the summer of 2021. - I have never dealt with USO new attraction openings.... so when they say “summer of 2021” what month do they consider “summer” when it comes to opening attractions???

My thoughts exactly! They should be glad the park is able to be open, and they should be glad they have the ability to visit.

Am I the only person who is NOT at all surprised that the first RMC coaster to get the RMC treatment is Lightning Rod?!

From what I was able to find after a ton of googling, the minimum operating temperature the park will operate their coasters is 38 degrees. However, that isn't taken directly from a park publication... So I'd take it with a grain of salt.
