  1. Yes. Yes, it is. I can remember that it had wheels... And rolled on a track! - But that's about it...
  2. Granted. However, it leaves you exhausted all day every day, and makes it hard for you to focus. I wish this COVID-19 crap was over with already.
  3. SDC's ALWAYS seems to have a line when we visit on hot days. Seems like families LOVE it. It's a great addition to the park, and I know we always have a blast on it, and it's a super hot day we will ride it several times.
  4. If this stays true... Looks like we will finally make it out to visit this park. We had been talking about it... Then all this crap happened. If they finally open June 14th (or some where around there) will be there!
  5. WOW!!! Thanks for those! It's crazy to see how much the park has changed over time! - I never knew there were so many trees where TTD sits now...
  6. Is it sad that I can’t even remember anymore...?
  7. Ohhh, I’m confident those two will still be opening! (Assuming the parks open this year.) I just feel like the parks are trying to be a little quiet about it right now... Yep! Because you know people would be like “OMG!! That park is spending $x,xxx, xxx on a new ride, but can’t donate to the COVID-19 pandemic!!! OMG! I’m never going there again. They are so heartless.” So the parks are playing it safe and not promoting new additions right now.
  8. I think new attractions have been removed from every Six Flags parks website. I checked out several different park sites including Over Texas and Great Adventure, and none of them had anything related to their new rides. I think it’s a “out of respect” kinda thing. Like, with everything going on the parks don’t want to be like “Oh! Look at us, building a fancy new ride.” - I can see that kind of thing not sitting well with people.
  9. Sharktums for president please and Nina Klemp loves this ! I would 100% vote for SharkTums for president.
  10. Interesting news. We will make a trip out there if it opens this year! It's one of those parks we have had a small desire to go to... And we better visit it while/if we can!
  11. Dang you!!! Here I thought we had gotten past this, and were back to theme park talk!! Apparently it doesn't matter if 23 million people die... as long as everyone can get a haircut. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Very good info! Thanks for sharing! With your info, and CaptainUnknown's info, looks like I'll finally ride this thing! Interesting to hear that! I may have to give it a go next time I'm at the park since it doesn't sound like a "spin-n-puke" ride!
  12. Great job!! I love the theming, the proximity switches throughout the track add a nice touch of realism. The pacing is great, the layout is great... Over all, very well done! I could see this being a coaster a park would actually build! Nicely done!
  13. How exactly is it an insult... When I'm literally using the exact same words you used?? -------------------------------------------------------- Anyway... I think this discussion has gone on FAR too long... Can we get back to actual theme park related discussion? I'm thinking the topic should be... Aquaman! Since that's the new thing for this park!! Or... Maybe Harley Quinn Spinsanity? I have yet to ride any of the ABC Tourbillon Ride's... However, they look incredibly disorienting, and nausea inducing... For those of you who have ridden one... Are they really that bad, or does it just look bad from the ground?
  14. I'm thinking the same thing... Sadly. I'm wondering in places like California that have stated: "large gatherings of 100 or more people are not likely to happen by the end of 2020" how are the parks in those states going to handle this? Does that mean they won't be able to re-open this year? (Assuming the ban on large gatherings does in fact stay in place through the rest of 2020.) Given that: I'd think theme/amusement parks would fall into the same category as fairs for this topic...?
  15. ^ WOW!! You find some of the most awesome stuff!! Thanks for sharing! I wonder why Loch Ness Monster no longer has a train in each loop at the same time, like in the above photo?
  16. Right? However, I will admit... It's interesting to see that coaster enthusiast are now also economist, governors, and people willing to sacrifice human life, even their loved ones... for a hair cut.
  17. Yeah, I'm starting to give up on what the media posts. . . Apparently they really will share images from years ago claiming that it was taken that day... Not sure if they have always been doing this, or just something that started recently... However, it makes it hard to trust what they share now... (And that seems to be from all news outlets, not just specific ones.) I'm betting on Galveston's Pleasure Pier.
  18. Thai is acceptable! However, nearly $30 at Taco Bell?!? Just bought some food for the house for this week. Only spent $33.03
  19. Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point!!
