  1. So that makes you the weird GP then? Better than what I was thinking. . . I was thinking they did it for attention, which makes them an attention whore.
  2. Ohhh, that makes more sense. At first I thought it was Sonny from Sonny and Cher. . . You have no idea how confused I was until you cleared it up.
  3. Fixed that to reflect my life! Having 2 cats that I am highly allergic to make for breathing during normal life awful, and it never fails that I will sniffle, sneeze, cough, and feel like I am dying 90% of the time. Thankfully the allergy medicine helps . . . a little. . . Very, very little.
  4. Monkeys!! Specifically spider monkeys!! They are so cute! Six Flags or Cedar Fair?
  5. I agree with Henry M. If your school offers any type of J.R.O.T.C. program I'd suggest joining it! I spent 4 years in J.R.O.T.C. in high school, and it was a great experience. If I were you, I'd highly suggest looking into a J.R.O.T.C. or similar program at your school. Join it, and it will give you a small idea of what you might be able to expect if you were to join the military after you graduate. It will also give you a chance to network with the instructors of the program who are usually retired military so they are very helpful! Best of luck!
  6. Great report so far!! I love that you loved Dominator!! That ride is seriously golden! I was blown away on all my rides on it! I rode it more than anything else in the park!! It's glass smooth, yet the forces, and airtime are amazing!! Glad you enjoyed i305!! I may not personally love it, but so many people rave about it. I can't help but to think I just caught the ride on an off day. Eh, I'll be back in May to try it again!! Maybe this time will be different!! Sorry to hear about your Grizzly bite!! With me already having back and neck problems, this is why I avoid wooden coasters. They are much more harsh on my body, and one bad ride on a wooden coaster can leave me unable to ride anything else for the next few weeks/months!! Can't wait for the rest of your report!! You're so good at writing reports! Very entertaining!!
  7. Given that I followed up the "*ding ding ding* we have a winner," with a clear example of how RMC's seats provide lateral support that other seats lack, I'd say it's "genuine approval of a point."
  8. It looks pretty interesting, and seems like it would provide a "different" experience than other coasters. Looks like it would be a good fit for smaller parks in the US. . . But I could never see a major park like Cedar Point, or Six Flags getting one of these!! Oh wait, yes. . . Yes I could see Six Flags getting one of these!! Then cloning it, and putting one in every park calling it "Mr. Freeze, Revenge of the Freeze."
  9. Getting ready to head to the park for the first time!! I'm torn between being excited, and expecting a typical "Six Flags Day!" Which we all know, a "Six Flags Day" isn't the best. I'm going in with pretty low expectations, and if the park exceeds them (doubtful) then it will be a surprise!! Forecast calls for a warm, clear day, which is a plus given the Hurricane that's not to far away.
  10. *Ding ding ding* We have a winner!! I was thinking the same thing in regards to RMC coasters. The seats very much so wrap around the sides of your body providing a type of lateral support. However, seats like Maverick don't really have the same sideways support, so the OTSR's help out with the lack of good lateral support of the seats.
  11. What?? Please show me exactly what transitions you are talking about.. Maverick pretty much set the bar for insane transitions that I have only seen other intamins compete with. The first two that come to mind are: The exit from the first inversion, and the airtime hill directly below the lift hill. Both provide crazy sideways lateral forces that give Maverick a run for its money.
  12. Least favorites are: Six Flags St. Louis -and- Magic Springs Both are awful, awful, ungodly awful parks. Words can not describe how terrible these parks are.
  13. Not sure that it's fair to say it will "instantly be the most fun ride in the park." When you don't even know how it's going to ride yet. #YouCantJudgeACoasterByItsAnimatedOrRealPOV
  14. ^ I thought every day was national Vodka day!! Damn, I've been doing it wrong all along.
  15. Granted. However, coaster enthusiast aren't real people, so all you'd ever get to hear for the rest of your life are complaints from coaster enthusiast. I wish I had less stress in my life.
  16. Yes. Do you like The Golden Girls?
  17. No. Do you like haunted houses?
  18. RMC transitions are just as snappy as Maverick's if not more snappy. Maybe not every transition on every RMC coaster, but I can think of a few transitions on Outlaw Run that make Maverick feel like a wacky worm.
