From my experience, after the reservation is linked to your account, you should see a menu option of "MagicBands and Cards". From there you should be able to then customize your MagicBands (Color and Name). Make sure that all members of your party do have MDX accounts, and if they do, they are all "friends" with each other. That's one of the first problems that my party had with the accounts. If the system works correctly, you can use your MagicBands as room keys, park tickets etc. I was also able to use my Annual Pass to enter the room, which kind of surprised me. But since their all connected to my overall MDX account, it makes sense!

SeaWorld Orlando (SWO) Discussion Thread
bbomser replied to disneygurlz2s's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Woohoo! Glad the Acadamy saw it for what it was, and expose on SeaWorld. Now I hope that someone catches the director eating a cheeseburger, or bringing her kids to a Zoo haha! -

I'll bump this for inactivity. I guess Coaster Cow, you can give us a twisted synopsis. -

Hey all, first TR of mine. Didn't initially plan to do one, but saw a post from Epcot Fireworks and figured it was a good time to post my photos. I hope to get the video of the finale up later tonight. We ended up staking out one of the wooden benches by the Dockside diner to watch the fireworks, as they are primarily shot off from above the Chinese Theatre. There were also fireworks being shot off from the buildings along the main entrance road (Can't remember the name). One thing that stands out in my mind is how the entire show was about 2-3 minutes late. The band kept playing as it got closer and closer to midnight, but didnt say anything. After the entire crowd started celebrating, they then started their countdown to the fireworks. Hope you all enjoy! Feel free to let me know what you think, but don't be to harsh! Close to the end of the main show: Huge Finale Video The calm before the proverbial storm. Mulch, Sweat and Shears was great to listen to before the fireworks. Something to do while sitting and holding our spot! Just a start. There were some really cool effects. I feel like the next couple of images are American Idol ads...

TPR New Front Page In Development!
bbomser replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Ditto what others have said. The photo losing some size makes the page shorter, and allows us to see some of the posts without having to scroll a bit. I can see four (4) rows of posts instead of two (2) on Option 2, will depend on resolution, but every bit helps). The twitter feed can allow a casual user to view major updates (and provide another link to hot button issues on the forums). EDIT* One thing that may prove helpful with the slideshow aspect of the page is a pause button. Just an idea, hope it helps! -
Yea, I should have been clearer. His vote was removed for life, but He's only suspended from the actual organization for 1 year. Thus, he can't attend any game using Press Credentials. By the Pete Rose treatment, I'm surprised he wasn't suspended for life.

The Santa CLAW! Live Claw Machine - Crane Game!

Just worked for me. Awesome! -
On the deadspin matter, does any one on TPR know someone with a vote? Haha, we can have TPR submit one! In all reality, I'm surprised they havent given him the Pete Rose treatment. They only banned him for a year, but I think that somehow good will come out of this in terms of changes to the way the votes are done. How can someone who hasn't covered baseball in 10+ years have a vote, buty Vin Scully doesn't? The other idea i've heard be thrown around is that all current HOFers get a vote as well. Similar to Heisman in that matter.

Three closest parks near you
bbomser replied to mike541x's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was wondering when the Central FL people would post. I live over near the beach, so it's a bit more of a drive, but still not to shabby: SeaWorld Orlando: 1.25 Hours Universal Florida: 1.5 Hours WDW: 1.5 Hours Fun Spot: 1.5 Hours All just guesstimates, but Orlando Locals know that these can change when idiots decide to drive on I-4... -

Being originally from NY, Coney Island was one of my first "Park Experiences" Not sure when I first rode the Cyclone, but I loved every minute of it. While yes it's getting old and beats riders up, it should still be a must for any Wooden Coaster Enthusiast. Sit in the front, sit in the back, just hold on tight and prepare to get hurt! Plus having the original Nathan's down the street makes it nice to recover from the ride with a nice lemonade and a good hot dog! -

^ Nope. No additional ticket, just super-crowded. Great photos. Spent NYE myself at Hollywood Studios this year, and the place wasn't nearly as crowded. Was at EPCOT last year, and dare I say I may have enjoyed this year over last year. I'll post some photos later. OP, you mind if I add my photos to this thread?

Granted, but all your CD Playing devices fail at the same time. I wish for free lifetime passes to Cedar Fair parks. -

"Shoot the dog, Shoot the dog. Shoot the Kids!" Love this video. This is Sally Corp correct? I remember seeing it when we did the tour of Sally Corp a while back. -
TPR's Monday Fun Emails
bbomser replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I do like the e-mails, I try to check the forums daily, but some days I can't. The e-mails give me a chance to see a bit about what's going on on the forums, along with the fact that if I miss something good, it's there. -

Decided to open up this bottle (Jewbelation Reborn), and wow. 17 different malts, 17 different hops, and a whopping 17% ABV. One beer and I can feel it. I recommend the different Shmaltz beers to anyone looking for some delicious beer and shtick. Shmaltz Brewing Company's He'Brew Jewbelation Reborn (17) L'Chaim!
